Maya's POV:
B4 I opened the door to the police station, I noticed that Riley is still in her pj's with wet tear stains on her cheeks and a frown across her face
So I turn to her and say
"Come on sunshine, let me see that smile, no one rocks cupcake pj's better then you. Plus there's Some people who want to meet you. And I actually think they will help you. They helped me and I thought no one could help me"
"Then why are we at the police station" She asked
"Oh umm well there kinda....criminals"
"WHAT!" I heard her yell as I yanked her arm into the police station.

As soon as the police officers glanced at me, they all turned the other way. They won't even dare to look at me the wrong way cuz they know topanga will kill them. Or atleast end there career somehow.
As soon as We approached the officers desk It was the police officer who arrested me that night. He was the only one who didn't seem scared of me. Surprising bcuz HE's the only one topanga threatened.
"Hello ms.hart, nice to see you again" he said in a very professional way
"Yea yea whatever, we need to see a couple of prisonors" I said
But Riley butts in And said
"Or we dont need to. It's really no big deal...plz say no"
" dont mind her sir, she's ummm...sleep deprived, I mean just look she's in her pj's. I bet she doesn't even know she's here. *shskes her head and sucks her teeth* sad isn't it? BUT we actually really do need to talk to some inmates"
"Um ok then, so you will just fill out a form and we will get you a window. So the inmates will be on one side and you will be on the other side talking thru a phon-" he explained but b4 he could finished I interrupted
"Um yea that sounds great and all but that won't work. We need to actually need to talk to them face to face"
"MAYA!! THATS CRAZY! Don't you think that's to much to ask?" Riley asked while pulling me back from the desk to face her but I just say
"Shhh, I got this"
But when I turned back around the officer said
"Umm yea, you must be crazy lill girl. We can't have you do that"
Once he called me "lill girl" i leaned over the desk and whispered right into his ear
"Oh I'm a lill girl right? Maybe ur right. But you forgot something. Im a lill girl that can get her lill lawyer and get ur lill ass fired in a snap *snaps her fingers* "
With that I can see fear glow in his eyes so he says
"Oh n-n-no ma'm, umm let me see what I can do"

Eventually we ended up sitting in the "backyard" of the prison with prison guards surrounding us and peach and keke chained up. This place is weird. It's like the towns police department but also a prison, must be budget cuts ig lol

I mostly wanted to bring Riley hear to meet keke. Keke is a free spirit (well personality wise, not physically cuz she well ya know...she's in prison), she is loving and caring. Just like Riley but more wiser so I'm pretty sure they will like eachother a lot and learn from eachother.
Once we approached peaches and keke.
Peaches instantly said
"Oh hey look keke! It's peaches 2.0"
Then they both gave me the warmest hugs. I turned to Riley and I saw confusion cross her face
"Um peaches 2.0? What does that mean?" Riley asked
"Oh is this Riley? She's beautiful, come here girl! We heard so much about you m!" Peaches said while her and keke ran in for a hug from Riley.
More confusion crossed Riley's face.
"Oh Um this is peaches and keke. They are a lot like you and me well...minus the criminal record. But they really helped me a lot and I think they will instantly help you too Riley" I said to Riley.
"Ok...but how did you guys meet?" Riley asked
"Umm wen I got locked in prison the other night"
"WHAT! I thought they just put you in one cell not in a real prison!" Riley yelled
"Yea yea whatever. Go make friends!" I yelled as I yanked Riley's arm into keke, while I sat with peaches
"So that's lill miss sunshine?" Peaches asked while pointing at Riley
"Yea, she means a lot to me"
"Well not to be rude but she doesn't look like sunshine to me. She looks like lill miss rainy day" she admitted
"Umm yea that's why i brought her here. She's going thru a lot rn. She learned that everybody doesn't stay and people can be evil. Even the people that you loved. For me, I've known that my whole life but she didn't bcuz of my dad leaving and my mom never being. she's finally experiencing what I go thru and I don't want her too. So I brought her here cuz I thought you could fix her....so fix  her plz."
Peaches let out a lill chuckle and says
"Well peaches 2.0, Ik how you feel. I've been in and out of foster homes my whole life cuz my mom was institutionalize so she couldn't take of me and I never knew my dad. But keke over there, had a stable home and perfect life. But The first time she was betrayed, whoo,  she stabbed the sucker! So just be happy Riley reacted differently then keke."
We both aloud ourselves to release a lill giggle but then peaches says while standing up
"But anyways, we got you peaches 2.0, keke will fix ur lill ball of sunshine. But I'll help cuz keke will have her believing in unicorns and aliens"
"Oh trust me, she already believes in all that stuff" I yelled as peaches ran off to talk to keke and Riley.
I saw Riley's face and felt instant relief agian Cuz a smile was across it  and laughs coming out.
"Thank god, I got my Riley back" 
I thought to myself. I knew they would help.
I wanted to leave them alone, so they can settle things without any distractions (aka, me) so I managed to find my way back to the front desk to find out more about the "police scene"
Believe it or not, I want to be a police officer wen I get older. I want to be something and I want to help people. I don't want people to go thru what I go thru.
I started talking to this officer who didn't seem to know who I am bcuz he didn't flinch at all. Huh? He must be new
As I approached him while he was drinking his coffee with a cigar in his hand, I whispered to him
"So tell me here old buddy, old pal.  *looks around to see if anyone's watching* is it really true that cops love donuts?"
We both let out a lill laugh, while he made himself a new cup of coffee.
But then he leans in and whispers
"Actually yes it's really true but shhhh *puts finger over*"
We laughed once more.
it's refreshing to talk someone that hasn't "heard of me". Everyone else is just like "oh ur maya heart, I've heard of you. You've done some fucked up stuff. Ur a peice of trouble"

"Would you like a cigar and a cup of coffee? He asked,
Whoa? you can defiantly tell he was new bcuz no well respecting cop would give a cigar to 15 yrs/o. He must probably thinks I'm 20 or something

I wanted to say yesBut The one thing my mom doesn't let me do is have drugs/cigarette/achocal but what the heck! I'm not suppose to have friends as criminals but here we are so I said yes. While he was turned around making my coffee and getting his pack of cigars from his desk , I was doodling some drawings in his notepad of stuff thats surrounding me
I looked all over the room
right to left ,
up, down,
side to side.
Damn this place is big and dirty.
I did a double take wen I looked over to the desk.
there stands this tall brown haired white boy talking to a who looked a lot like josh from behind. Holding on to a file.
I can tell its josh from the detail of his hair and his incredible ass😏
"Josh?" I asked as I put the notepad down and i approached them
"Oh un hi maya. Umm w-what are you doing here?" He asked as he was pushing away the documents tas if I didn't see them.
It looked like he doesn't want me to know what's on those prices of paper
I can tell he's hinding something, from the nervous tone in his voice.
"Um what is that?" I said pointing to the documents he didn't want me to a see.
But me being me, I have to find out what it is.
"The more important question is umm.. Why are you here maya? Did you get arrested again?" He asked trying to change the point.
I was just so anxious to read those documents, I didn't listen to one word he said.
"Josh, what's in those documents" I asked once agian while pearing more and more behind him to atleast get a glimpse.
Josh saw me leaning to the documents so with every lean I made, he made with me.
"Um n-nothing" he answered.
I grabbed his shoulders yanked him out the way and said
"Oh yea? Then let just me see if it's 'nothing'."
The officered tried to grab it b4 I did but I just gave him one snear and he Immediately backed away like a scared cat.
When I opened the folder, there was only 2 prices of paper.
Confusion filled my face once I opened it,
the first thing I saw was carter and his friends pictures and information.
But then once I turned the page the confusion left my face and anger took its place.
I can feel my cold hands clench into a fist and my face turn tomato red.
The second page contained all the stuff I told josh last night.
The rape.
The friends.
The carter.
I turned around to face him and i saw fear and disappointment in his face.
I felt hot tears drop down my checks. But those weren't  my "sad" tears.
They were "Im gonna kill you" tears.
"How could you? I fucking trusted you!" I yelled
"Ik, and I'm sorry but-" he started to say
"Wait ur 'sorry'? No ur not! If you were sorry you wouldn't have done this! I told you to leave it alone!"
"Ik maya but I couldn't" he responded way more quiet and calm then me.
"You said you wouldn't and you fucking did!"
"Ik but..."he trailed off
A sudden hit of betrayal punched me in the stomach, instead of anger in my face, it was only hurt that flooded.
"You promised" I whispered
I can see him open his mouth a few times to explain but nothing cAme out.
water started to over flow in his eyes but still nothing came out.
"Well....that's whAt I get for actually trusting someone." I said
He put his hand in mine and started to say
"No maya, it's ok-"
I yanked my hand out of his as fast I can. He tried to grab it again but I stopped him by saying
"Don't touch me! I fucking trusted you and you broke that trust. How dare you? I told you my deepest secret and you go an tell the officers that hate me so they can what? Help. You arrest them? No there gonna go an Laugh. Or assume I'm lying for attention. Or worse and say 'oh that's what she gets'."
"I'm sorr-" he started to say
"Don't ever talk to me agian Josh Matthews. I guess it's true what they say 'True friends stab you in the front'."
I said as I turned around to the hallway that leads outside to go reunite with peaches, keke, and Riley.
Once I got outside, I saw Josh's car pullout of the parking lot. I found myself looking to see if he left with someone but
I mean like why do I care if he left with someone? He betrayed me. And he"ll probably betray them too .

When I approached them, Riley and the others I quickly wiped away my tears and found them having a blast.
They defiantly got Riley out of her funk.
"You guys having fun?" I asked
"Omg yes!! I love them!!" Riley screamed
"Riley is just a lill ball of sunshine, it's like having 2 keke's, I can't handle all of this happiness and hope" peaches said
"Thank you" keke and Riley said in unison.
Me and peaches just looked at eachother, gave a lill smile and both rolled our eyes.
After for about 30 mins of chatting and laughing ,
we hear Riley's txt notification go off. She grabs it and starts to type.
"Maya my mom wants me home ASAP . We have to go" Riley said to me.
We all stood up at once and said our goodbyes.
"I never thanked you guys for helping me the other night. Even tho you didn't know me, you still helped me. And I'm gratful for that." I said while hugging both of them.
"No problem peaches 2.0, come visit us more we need a couple of chicks like you guys." Peaches said while keke nodded along
"Yea, and I want to thank you guys for helping me too" Riley said
"Yass girl. Np. Remeber we gotta get those pedicures once I get out of this place" keke said while butt bumping Riley

The whole walk home and the subway ride, Riley hasn't shut up about peaches and keke. I'm really happy they helped her.
And I'm really ready to kill hucklebarry.

Once we reached the house, the lobby door was unlocked. Strange.
As we opened the door to the appartement
there was Augie sobbing on topanga lap
And Corey at the kitchen table with tear stains everywhere.
"What's going on?" Riley asked
No one answered
Just more tears.
"What happened?" I yelled.
Finally, topanga sat Augie down,stood up from the coach and approched us.
With a crack in her voice and tear filled eyes she was able to say
"Umm girls, i- I don't know h-how to say this but, j-Josh has been in a horrible car accident"
