Maya's POV:
After topanga dropped me off at school, it was time for history class.
Great!
Now I have Riley, Lucas, farkle and mr. Mathews  hounding me on why I was trying to skip school.
But as soon as I entered the classroom, books in hand, no one seemed to pay much attention to me.
Just one glance and a shrug.
I mean I'm bad, but I never skip class. Well maybe I have.
Once or twice
and by once or twice I mean maybe a couple of hundred times.
But besides the point.
Irrelevant.
"And what kept you from being in my class ms. heart?" Mr. Mathews finally  ask.
With his Back to me, writing on the bored of the newest useless lesson.
Not even bothering to turn my way.
"Uhh, let's see. My life" I answered sarcastically as I took a seat.
He turned and around and gave me a lill smile and said.
"Fair enough."
I turned to Riley then to Lucas.
I sense tension.
You can see it, hear it, even smell it.
I had to do something...but then again, ohhh yummy drama.
I lean over to farkle.
"You catch me up. What I miss?" I whispered.
"Oh yea know, the lesson about the Great Depression was pretty awesome, I mean not the depression it self, that was pretty sad but i mean as in his teachin-" he started
"I'm not talking about that! I'm talking about that two timing bastard and the sweet heart. Aka, Lucas and Riley " I inturrpt
"Oh thattttt.
Well this morning in the cafeteria, Lucas tried to go up to Riley and apologize about for...well ya know.
But as soon as she even made Eye contact with him she turned straight to the other way.
She said something about being a "independent fabulous women that needs no man, just like keke", who ever keke is for that matter?" He whispered to me.
A smile spread crossed my face, just knowing that keke helped her brings me some hope.
"Wait how do you even know about him kissing another girl?" I asked
" I told you. I'm a genius. I know everything." He smirked
"Of course you are, but seriously how do you know?" I chuckled.
"Well, it's all around school and I heard it from Lucas himself." He sighed
"Damn it! The whole school knows!! That's the last thing riley needs, wait... how does Lucas know that Riley knows about his little kissing Adventure" I asked
"Oh yea I forgot to tell you,
well b4 we even got to school.
Lucas and I showed up at Rileys house
As usual We headed straight in the window. Riley was brushing her hair and once she saw Lucas, it was a whole new Riley. Next thing you know, her hair brush flies towards his head. She yelled 'get out! Go spend more time with the girl you was making out with at the park!'
I was lucky to make it in alive.
I asked her if she wanted to talk about it but she didn't want to. So I walked her to school talking about sparkles and purple cats, just trying to cheer her up. But that didn't work. I lost my dignity for nothing." He chuckled

The expression of shock and worry ran across on my face,
"That doesn't sound like the Riley we know, we have to get her back. We can't have the two timeing horse sucking cowboy, take her away for good." I said.
Farkle just gave a a slight nod as he went back distracted by the lesson.
Typical farkle.

As soon as the lunch bell rang, I immediately headed to Lucas's locker.
There he was, looking all innocent as he was gently settling his books so organized.
But no surprised, there's a girl right next to him. Her eyes filled with hope she might actually have a chance with the "Lucas friar".
Ugh makes me want to vomit.
I instantly walked over to him, as fast my lill legs can take me.
As soon as he saw I was headed his way,
he instantly clamed up.
"Shooo" I said as I brushed away that girl and turned to Lucas but I saw her just staring at me and once I brought my attention back to her she said
"And who are you?" She disrespected
I gently walked closer to her, measuring every step so I can at least try to calm my self b4 I rip her head off.
"Oh you picked the wrong day to be brave, lill girl. Because I am this close to shoving someone against a locker and it was gonna be Lucas but... now that I think about it, I have enough energy to do it to the both of you."
B4 she can get anything else out Lucas inturrupted
"Maya stop."
As I turned to his direction, about to yell the girl says
"Wait Maya? I remember that name.
Do u mean, Maya as in Maya heart?"
"Yeah....how do u know me?" I asked
"Im Caitlyn Walker,  as in carters sister"
I felt my heart drop.
My chest strains in pain that remain stuck inside.
My lungs grasping for air now.
B4 I could even think I immediately grab Lucas by his collor,
drag him thru the crowed halls that formed with kids ready to watch a fight between me and Caitlyn.
As soon as I stopped,
I found myself in the janitors closet Lucas still in hand.
"Why are we in here? What's wrong mayA? Whose carter?" Lucas fluded with questions.
I couldn't answer any questions rn, I needed to peice together my thoughts.
"Maya? MayA? May-" she repeated
"JUST STOP! I need to clear my head" I let go of him. And let my back slide down the wall till my butt hit the ground so I can sit.
Lucas sat with me.
After a while I finally turn to him.
"If he finds out ur connected to me, he's gonna go after you if I dont do what he said"
Confusion strained on his face.
"Whose 'he'?" He asked.
But I ignored his question.
"You got to stop talking to that Caitlyn girl. Lucas I'm serious" I said
"Maya why?"
"Just promise!" I yelled
"I'm sorry Maya I'm not gonna Make any promises, b4 Ik anything." He confesses.
I Laid my head againsted the wall and let out a sigh
"Fine I'll tell you everything you need to know."
He just stared at me, waiting for me too explain. But the thing is,
I don't know how to explain,
once I tell him
I knew he's gonna go after carter and that's gonna get  not only him hurt but everyone I care about hurt.
But it's now or never.
I took a deep breath, stood up, grabbed the duck tape and wrap a peice around his mouth but b4 he could rip it off I said
"Well if Imma tell you this I'm gonna need you to wait till I finish the WHOLE story. Cuz knowing you, the first thing you hear ur gonna inturrupt. And me knowing you so well, I'm just not gonna tie ur hands up cuz I'll know you break thru it. Just promise ur  will hear me out?"
Unable to smile, Lucas nodded along.
"I'm putting you endanger by telling you this but u will be in more danger if you keep hanging out with Caitlyn.
So here I go...*deep breath* ...
I used to date Carter, Caitlyn's brother, and when we was together he was a monster.
Still a monster.
He would abuse me.
Verbally and Physically.
And I let him get a away with it.
But that wasn't why I left him.
One night him and his friends came over, I thought we was just gonna watch this game but instead they all ambushed me in my bedroom and raped me-"
Lucas eyes filled with raged.
His fist clenching.
But b4 he could do anything I continued
"That's when I left him. I didn't tell anyone or even go to the police cuz Ik he would of hurt me or my loved ones.
So I decided to never utter his name again and move on with my life without him.
But when I finally spoke of him again was too josh.
I told him about the rape.
I told him about the abuse.
I told him everything.
But josh being josh, tried to protect me.
He went to the police, and he gave files of Carter and his friends explaining what they did.
I'm not sure how he got all of carters friends files cuz I didn't mention there names one by one but somehow josh did.
So when Carter found out that josh turned him in.... Carter punished josh.
The car accident was no accident."

Lucas jumped up from the ground to look me into the eyes, I heard a muffled Yell saying
'Motherfucker' come out of Lucas taped covered mouth.
"Lucas sit back down please" I sighed
But Raged formed in his eyes,
enough to make him rip of the tape so he can finally say something.
"No Maya! We have to do something!
We have to tell the police!"
"Don't you think I thought of that!" I yelled
"Then why didn't you do it!?!"
"Cuz there's more to the story, so just sit down and listen!!!" I yelled.
He let out sigh, put his hands over his head trying to take all this in.

He took a step back and put more tape over his mouth. Cuz we both know he will need it till I finish the story.
"Ok where was I?" I sighed as we both took a seat on the ground.
"Oh yea, the accident.
Well the first night josh was admitted into the hospital. Carter paid me a lill visit.
He said since it was too late to take back the files cuz the police already looked over them, I just I have to lie to the trial.
I have to say that it wasn't rape, that I wanted to have sex with him and his friends even tho they were over 18. That way he won't get time in jail, he will just have community service or something."
This time it was more rage that formed, he jumped up once again and removed the tape.
"Well why the fuck do you have to listen to him!!" He yelled looking down at me since i was still on the ground
"Just leave it oka-" I started
"No! I say let's get back at him!"
"Lucas calm down" I said
"No I'm going to the find this son of a bitch and kill him!" He said headed for the door but b4 he had a chance to place his hand on the door knob, I knew I had to stop him.
"Fine get josh killed and Riley raped!" I yelled
That made him stop in his tracks.
But once he turned back around, it wasn't only rage in his eyes, it was rage mixed in with fear.
"He said that?" He whispered
All I could do was nod, I was as scared as he was.
"Well how do you know he will do it ?" Lucas asked trying to find a way out of this.
"Oh my gosh!" I yelled as I kicked the self.
"Don't you get it?! Carter was able to drug and rape me.
He was able to find out it was josh who turned him in,
he was able to have josh nearly die in a deadly car accident  by a friend that would put his life at risk for Carter.
Carter had josh punished not even an hour josh did Carter wrong.
Carter has connections.
Protection.
Everything.
What makes you think that Carter wouldn't hurt Riley or josh?"
It was quiet for a moment.
I saw tears form in Lucas's eyes.
Watching Lucas realize that he couldn't save his friend better yet his love of his life, broke my heart.
"No it's okay Lucas" I said as I wrapped my arms around him.
"I'm gonna fix this. All I have to do is do whAt he says. No one will get hurt. Not my friends, not my best friend, not my boyfriend. no one. I promise.
Just.... stay away from Caitlyn cuz she will make it worse" I said.
"Wait, is that why she's been trying to get with me?" He asked as he let go of me.
Confusion crossed my face.
"What?" I asked.
"Caitlyn. Is that why she's kissed me at the park?" He asked
"Wait it was Caitlyn who kissed you?"
"Yea. I mean she hit me up on facebook asking me to help her  study at the park so I said sure but once I got there she was all over me.
when she kissed me I told her that I have a girlfriend and I wanted her to leave me alone but looks like she doesn't know how to take a hint."
I shook my head in disbelief.
"No there's no way. It must be a coincident. She kissed you b4 carter found out about josh knowing"
"Or he could be stalking you or something?" Lucas let out a laugh.
"Nah, Carter is a lot of things but in fact not a stalker. Once I left him he didn't blink twice, he had another sorry little girlfriend the minute I was out the picture" I assured him.
"What a lill bitch" he sighed.
A couple moments past b4 we said anything
"Wait am I only the one who knows this besides you of course?" He asked breaking the silence.
"Yes so please stay away from Caitlyn. If she finds out ur somehow connected to me she will blab it to Carter, and he will come after you if needed." I told him.
He seemed to be in a daze, imagining all the possible scenarios.
I glanced at the clock hanged on top of the janitors door and realized lunch was almost over.
"got it?" I snapped my fingers in his face to bring him back to reality.
"Oh,ahem, got it. I'll stay away from Caitlyn" he said clearing his throat.
"Good now let's get out of here b4 I'm late again and get in more trouble with topanga and Mr.mathews" I said
While I walked toward the door
but b4 I can atleast turned the door knob i felt his hand grab my arm ever so gently.
I turned to face him waiting for his response.
"Maya, can you help me get through to Riley? Or Atleast Try to convince her that I'm not a cheater?" He asked as his hand fell.
"Why don't you do it urself?" I asked
He glanced at me in a sarcastic way, the 'you already know why, don't be stupid' glance
Then I finally remembered
"Oh yea you did. she just brushed you off in the 'keke' manner" I giggled
"Yea, who ever keke is. Anyways, I want to protect her in anyway I can and it will make it a lot easier to do so without her hating me. So can you please help me" he asked.
"I'll try, but it will take sometime but luckily the court date is tomorrow so after this is all is over I can devote my time into helping my boyfriend heal and helping you two love bir-"
***RING***
"Great now I'm late to class" I sighed as I grabbed his hand out the door.
But once we emerged into the crowded hallway, everyone seemed to point there attention to us and all gwak in unision.
"OoOoOoOoHhHhH"
As if me and Lucas was caught coming out of our own secrect game of 7 minutes in heaven.
As I watched thru the dozens of faces around us trying to find out what they wanted, I found Rileys with hurt and tears in her eyes.
She looked us  up and down and stoped at our hands.
I didn't know why she stopped there but when I looked down, our hands were still holding eachother.
I immediately shook them off but it was too late, Riley began running off.
I started to go after her but b4 I took my second step Lucas grabbed me and said
"Let me take care of her this time"
I shook my head no
"She needs me to-" I started
"Please if you want to help me get her back then, let me do this" he said b4 he began to run after her.
