Kaze: I activate my trap, Armor Ninjitsu Art of Freezing. When there's a ninja on my field this trap not only stops your monster's attack, but it binds your so called family so that it can't change battle mode.

Kaze said as chains appear around Shadow's monsters

Astra: That isn't good

Astra said as Mystic looks at her

Mystic snapped as Astra glares at her

Kaze: Your efforts to stop me are in vain. You're going to fall and Roku's legendary deck will be mine

Shadow: I overlay my Dragon Ice and my Seleglare in order to build the overlay network to Xyz summon. Number 61 Volcasaurus girl

Shadow said as he monsters glows and flew up into the black portal and a girl with hot red hair and in a skimpy outfit appears flashing a peace sign

Shadow: Now I overlay my Goldd and my Alexandrite to build the overlay network to Xyz summon number 19: Freezadon Girl

Shadow said as his monsters once again flew up into the black portal except this time a girl with dark blue hair and in a blue dress appeared

Shadow: Now I activate Volcasaurus effect. By using one overlay unit I can target and destroy one monster on your field and deal you damage equal to its attack points so say goodbye to your Ninja

Shadow said as Kaze looks on in disbelief

Kaze: It what!?! This can't be

Kaze said as he look on as his ninja exploded causing him to fly back yelling as his LPs drop to zero. Mystic reached her hand out and Crimson Shadow flew into it. Yumi and her friends ran up to him as Romin hugs him

Yumi: That was so cool. You really manage to High-Five the sky sensei

Yumi said with her eyes beaming as the other three looks on

Haru: Well I dare say that something seems to have lifted Yumi's dueling spirits. She's got that bounce in her voice again. I can't help but wonder who we have to thank for that

Roku: I simply showed Yumi the path. She's the one that actually took the steps. Besides Shadow had more of a hand in it then I did. I'm confident that he'll be a good teacher for her

Roku said as Kari looks back at Yumi and her friends with Shadow. Who noticed Kaze got his sword and approached his Blade Armor Statue Ninja. His raises his sword and swung it down only for Shadow to stop it with his index finger. Causing everyone to react in shock

Shadow: I don't know what you're so angry at Kaze, but whatever it is slicing your own monster statue in two won't make it better. Master Roku poured his heart and soul into making this statue along with the others. You don't get to destroy it just because you lost a few times and decided to throw a tantrum

Shadow said as he looks at Kaze as he begins to have a flash back to when he first showed up

Kaze: I was betrayed once by my friends. I had nowhere to turn. So I came to Roku seeking a new direction. He spoke about respecting my monsters and trusting them but (gasp) I lashed out in anger

Kaze looks up at his statue before dropping his sword and dropped down to his knees

Kaze: I just- I can't do it. After what I went there I just can't. I don't know how to trust anyone

Kaze said as Shadow looks down at him

Shadow: That's not true you trusted me. And you're not the only one consumed by darkness

Shadow said causing Kaze to look up at him. Shadow Millennium Necklace starts to glow without him noticing. Causing the images to be projected into their minds (except for Haru and Roku) . Everyone saw a kid version of Shadow with a duel disk with the Millennium Necklace and Key around his neck panting as he had some burns on him

Shadow: Back then as soon as I gotten my hands on my Xyz Dragons and my items. Dueling became very hard for me. I mean I still won of course, but it's I couldn't control my dragons. They became real. The damage became real. And I had no idea what I was doing at the time most of the time I was left with burns from their attacks

Shadow said as everyone saw the child practicing on his own

Kid Shadow: I now use Alexandrite Dragon, Assault Wyvern, and Lord of D to build the overlay network. I Xyz summon Evilswarm Ouroboros

Kid Shadow summoning said Dragon only for it to immediately turn around and spew out black flames at him. Kid Shadow was engulfed in it. When it was done Kid Shadow collapsed to his knees before falling face first into the ground. More burns on him. His decks and duel disk however were completely fine

Shadow: And then one day you showed up Kaze

Shadow said as everyone said as a younger version of  Kaze stumbled upon the scene before a look at sock appeared on his face as he ran over to the unconscious Kid Shadow and checked his pulse

Past Kaze: Well he's still alive, but I wonder how he got these burns

Past Kaze asked before noticing Ouroboros on his Duel disk

Past Kaze: A duel did this. But who was he dueling against that do this much damage?

Past Kaze then noticed Ouroboros glowing with a dark aura. Reaching out to grab it Kid Shadow weakly opens an eye

Kid Shadow: Please don't. It didn't mean it

Kid Shadow weakly said before shutting his eye again causing Past Kaze's shock to grow

Past Kaze: So it wasn't a duelist, but his own monster? This is serious. I best take him to Roku

Past Kaze said as he picks up the unconscious child and takes off towards the dojo. Entering the dojo he saw Past Roku cleaning his statues

Past Kaze: Master I need assistance!

Past Kaze said as Past Roku look at him before his eyes widened once he saw the injured child in his arms

Past Roku said causing Past Kaze to nod as he brings the child over and leads him down gently as he went off to do as told. Past Roku climbs done from the Neo's statue he was cleaning and rush to the young boy's side. Past Kaze soon returns with Past Roku's bag

Past Roku: Ok let's see. Disinfecting spray, Gaze, and a cooked Flank Steak? What's that doing in here. More importantly how did it get here this has no medical purpose whatso....

Past Roku said till a "Nom" cuts him off. Both Past Kaze and Past Roku look and saw Child Shadow awake and consumed the stake that was in Past Roku's hand and was now looking at the two

Past Roku: Or maybe it does. What happened to you boy?

Kid Shadow said simply causing Past Roku to look at Past Kaze hoping he'll have an answer

Past Roku: I have heard tales of monsters that have attacked their own duelist in the past, but to actually see a victim of it today is truly upsetting

The three Evilswarm Dragons, Daigusto Emeral, Bahamut Shark, Lavalval Chain, Red eyes metal flare dragon, Velvet Voice, Raindear, Queen Dragun Djinn, and a blank card

Past Kaze asked as he looks at Kid Shadow who shrugs as Past Roku moves onto his main deck

Kid Shadow: Someone threw it off the side of the bridge, I caught it, and it's been in my extra deck ever since

Lulu: I remember that. I had gotten that in a pack of Lyriluscs and haven't thought about that card since. Are you telling me that it's yours?

When the glow dies down and the two to uncover their eyes they saw a new Blue-Eyes in Kid Shadow's hands. A white ninja. Before anyone could say anything else they heard the doors opening. Looking towards that direction they saw a girl Kid Shadow's age, messy white hair, red eyes, skull ear rings, a black dress, and striped stockings

????: Hey! Are you that dragon user i kept hearing about?!

The girl asked as Kid Shadow looks at her

Kid Shadow: I guess why?

Lucy: My name is Lucy and I challenge you to a duel!

Lucy nods before grabbing his hand and dragging him off. After awhile they came upon three dragon statues. Kid Shadow then approached them in confusion

Kid Shadow: The statues that I received my Evilswarm Dragons and my items? I don't understand I thought I was the only one that knew about this place

Kid Shadow said as he looks back at the girl as she smiles. Not one of mischief or anything like that is one that held love, sadness, and pain all at the same time which causes the girls to look on in confusion

The dragon then came out of the vortex before letting out a roar causing Diabolos to roar back at it as Lucy looks on in confusion. At the same the orange glow on Lulu's back glowed as bright as the card, but no one noticed except for Shadow as he narrows his eyes

Lucy: Why summon that?  It's weaker than my Diablos

Lucy said causing Kid Shadow to smirk as his black crystal wings appear

Diabolos charged up another dark sphere and yeet it at the dragon

Kid Shadow said as a unit flew into the mouth on its chest as it roars making a barrier protecting it. However a tiny part went over and hit Kid Shadow

Kid Shadow: And now that Kidmodo Dragon is in the grave it's effect now. Since it's been sent to grave I can now special summon a dragon type monster from my hand. And that dragon is my prideful soul that lights up the way to victory, my Blue-Eyes White Dragon!

When the glow dies down there in Lucy's place stood a woman with Lucy's white hair and red eyes, on her head was a black dragon like head-piece with blue lines, on her back was red/black dragon wings, she was dressed in a black bikini with blue lines, she had chains on her, on her arms and legs was black armor, the ones on her arms have silver metal cuffs and claws on her hands. She smiles as she took a knee

Diabolos said as the Millennium items stopped glowing bring them back. Everyone was quiet till Roku broke that silence by placing his hand on Kaze's shoulder
