Chapter 9: I Am From the Cult of Thorki!

Later on you woke up tied up upside down. Your instincts immediately told you to struggle and panic. You were claustrophobic. You couldn't move much and the rope squeezed you tighter and tighter as you struggled.

"Don't waste your energy." You heard an awfully familiar voice.

"Who the hell are you?" You yelled as your figure spun around.

You looked down to see the cultists looking up at you with their hoods down. You didn't expect the cult to be this many. Though they'll never beat the population of the Marvel Fandom or any fandom at all.

There were at least a hundred people in the room with more staying in the halls or near doorways. The place was actually the lobby of the house. The front door was there, the people came out from the upstairs and the basement, and the man who spoke to you was there standing in the middle. You were hanging, most likely swinging, on the chandelier you were tied on to.

"Why don't you recognize me, little mocking jay?" You wanted to cover your ears, but you can't.

You knew this man. You know his intentions and malicious ambitions towards your mother. Now you.

"Fuck you Jared!" You spatted at him as you turned to see him.

"Uncle Jared." He corrected you.

No way you were calling him uncle. He was the one who hated your mother the most, the one who took your inheritance, and the one who blamed you for killing your mother. You should've known that he was working for the cult.

(Sorry to those who have uncles named Jared, this was just a random name.)

"Pft, as if you were ever my uncle." You spitted your saliva at him splatting on his. "Bastard."

He chuckled darkly and wipes it off. He smiled at you sinisterly.

"You know what you did to your mother-"

"YOU WERE THE ONE WHO KILLED HER!" You tried swinging towards him trying to hit your head against his, but the rope wrapped around you tighter making you go numb.

"The more you struggle, the more the rope will suffocate you."

"What do you want!"

"You already know. Ever since I saw you with that little friend of yours I knew that you were on to something here." He eyed you suspiciously. "I knew that you were here to find me."

"Honestly I came here to find a report for my college course..." You muttered.

"Silence!" He yelled.

"Whatever." You rolled your eyes.

"Now that you're here, you can repay for the sin you've done long ago." He spoke.

"Why me? Why my mother? Why not someone else? You might have fucking elf's blood too!" You yelled at him.

He seemed offended at the last statement.

"Your mother was adopted."

"You're adopted." You spatted at him.

He gritted his teeth.

"We were from the same foster home and we treated each other like siblings. I was obsessed with mythology. Your mother was too." He started to tell his story. "We made a promise that we'd start something together, and show the world that the gods and goddesses from pagan belief are real. She agreed to be the sacrificial bride."

"Lies!"

"Oh, but this is the ugly truth my dear niece." His smirk grew wider. "Years later after we were adopted at the age of ten, your mother changed. She fell in love with your father. She thought that my thoughts were only a child's dream. She forgot her promise. Then I found out that she was a descent of royal elves who were forced to hide from the human infected world they used to live in before we humans came. Then she finally thought I was actually crazy. No, I wasn't. The gods are real-"

"You're really insane aren't you?" You cut him off. "I have a degree in psychology. Mom told me that you have Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. This cult is your haven where you protect yourself from that event that traumatized you. The gods are not real and this cult is nothing, but your fortress to protect your beliefs."

"Oh, then how can I do this then?" He opened the palm of his hand as electricity surrounded it.

Shit... You cursed in your thoughts.

He was the magic user a while ago. The one who tried to control you. You finally remembered that you didn't know how to explain how he can do that. You were out of words as you growled at him.

"Cat got your tongue?" He laughed. "The gods are real my dear niece. I am a son of Thor!"

"Thor has no son recent son today, he's in the Marvel universe, he's in the deathly trolling books of Rick 'Troll' Riordan, and he is not a real entity."

"Non-believer!"

"What? I didn't mention any of your goddamn OTPs and you have to snap out of this!" You yelled.

"Prepare the cauldron!"

Your eyebrows twitched in confusion as a large cauldron of boiling hot water was taken out from a room. You quickly acted up as he struck lightning at the cauldron. You were suddenly filled with fear. The sacrifice was starting. This didn't feel like a traditional one, but this was too much. You were gonna die slowly from drowning and electrocution.

The cultists began to chant something in that weird language again. You desperately wanted to know what they were chanting, but it did make the ropes around you tighter and tighter until you had trouble breathing. The rope started to lower you down as you closed your eyes.

"Where the hell is Bonde-" You were suddenly cut off by a sudden yell.

"HALT!" The chanting stopped to find the mysterious voice. "STOP THIS IMMEDIATELY."

The accent sounded so British, but it was a bit far from that. It sounded close enough to Alice's accent, but it had another accent mixed in it. The voice also sounded familiar.

"Bondevik?" You whispered in surprise as you spun yourself around looking for the Norwegian man.

"Who are you!" Jared yelled as his eyes turned dark blue.

"I am Søren Laufeyson from the Cult of Thorki!" You almost bursted in laughter from this. "What the bloody hell are you even doing to this young lady?"

This was clearly him. In a British accent with a hint of his own accent.

"She is our sacrificial bride!" Someone shouted from below.

"And what is this cult I've never heard about?" Jared spoke highly. "You are unknown, begone!"

"Maybe you're unknown to the world!"

"What?!" Jared tried looking for the voice.

"The Cult of Thorki is the most infamous cult in the world with millions and millions of followers!"

"How did you gain the popularity?"

"The illuminati has more than a million." You muttered.

"Silence!" Jared yelled as you rolled your eyes.

"Easy, Tumblr." Damn he's like Emil in some sort of way when he talks.

"What is this 'Tumblr' you speak of?"

"Oh my god, you don't know what the fuck hell is made out of?" You muttered. "And you own a goddamn cult?"

"I said silence!" He yelled again at you. "I do not care what this 'Tumblr' is or what it does! What are your intentions here importantly, Søren?"

"To bring back out priestess!"

The whole mansion was filled with whispers and murmurs talking about you being a priestess of some cult. The truth was you were the head priestess of the Thorki cult since you run the blog yourself.  You were the founder and only admin of the blog.

Jared looked at you in disbelief. You answered back with a smile.

"That's right bitches, I'm the fucking head priestess and they fucking worship me for serving Thorki."

"And who exactly is Thorki?" He asked you. "I've never heard of a god named Thorki."

"Oh that?" You laughed nervously. "It's Thor and Loki's ship name, oh, and Loki's the dominant one okay?" You winked at him as his face went red.

"YOU WILL PAY FOR YOUR SINS! ALONG WITH YOUR FRIEND." Jared boomed as you stuck your tongue out.

"I've been sinning since day one!"

"SHOW YOURSELF LAUFEYSON!"

"Look behind you." Surprisingly, Lukas was already behind Jared.

Jared has no time to act from the sudden appearance of Lukas. He was blasted away directly by Lukas' magic.

You cheered on for him as he knocked out the others next to him. He instantly turned the entire floor and the first floor into ice making the rest of the people slip. Everyone fell down except for him. He immediately shoots some ice towards you that sliced the ropes that tied you up. The only rope that held you was the one around your feet. You helped yourself up and untied the rope around your ankles. Your reflexes instantly made you grab the rope before you can fall down towards the vat of boiling water.

Then the rope just tied you onto it itself.

"Huh?" You looked at it in confusion as it wrapped around your hand tighter.

Your eyes widened in realization that Jared was still conscious.

"Lukas, he's still conscious!" You yelled warning him.

You looked around looking for the crazy bastard. You had a helpful view, but the next thing you knew, you were falling.

You got to see the full chandelier as you fell. It was beautiful and old. You thought that they were lit up by candles instead of electricity.

Well, I guess this is the end...

You began to close your eyes almost accepting fate. ALMOST.

"Fuck this, LUKAS!" You yelled with determination.

Just as you were about to make your big debut into the electrocuting water, you were suddenly held up in midair which surprised you. The water was about an inch away from the ends of your hair. (Long or short, it's still an inch away.)

Your body was surrounded with blue light. You sighed in relief as you were brought to the ground gently. You sat up and looked up at your guide.

"You already saw me didn't you?" You smirked at him as he stayed silent. "Never mind that, what's important is-"

"He's not in the area, (Y/n)." He stopped you there. "He was there when he got the rope around your wrist, but he releases you he escaped."

You sighed and patted the area next to you. Most of the other cultists were gone and were nowhere to be found, but there were some still unconscious laying on the floor.

"Talk." He sat next to you.

"Can't you just read my mind?"

"Just talk." You sighed in defeat and tapped on the frozen floor a random beat.

"So you really want to know the reason, huh?"

"Us humans are very emotional creatures your highness." You chuckled from his words.

"Stop and listen." You cleared your throat. "I'm still human of course, I'm only a descendant. The reason why I yelled is that I remembered why I came here and why I still kept my hopes up even after the events in my life. My determination would never fade, if it did then my life would've ended there if it wasn't for you."

"But why did you yell last minute?" He asked. "You could've yelled earlier."

"Well... I almost felt my determination fade away at that moment." You explained. "Almost. I thought my world was done, I thought that I would've died in the hands of my uncles plot and go to the place where my mother is now. But no, I still had hope. The world needs someone, someone to bring everyone hope. So I decided to become that person. To yell out every good and bad thing the world. To try and point out the problems and make the people aware of what's happening. Like this... I want to make them aware that there are cults like this. That a cult like this still exists. I want to spread the existence of danger and make them prepared."

You looked down on your jeans to see small wet dots starting to dry up. You wiped the tears off your face and giggled.

"Funny, am I right?"

"I'm sorry..." You were surprised by Lukas' response.

You looked at him.

His eyes looked distant, but there was a small spark of something. You didn't know what it was, but it was something good. Something interesting and worth reaching for.

This was only the start of the story.

It's time to tell the rest.

Holy shit, I'm so sorry that I haven't updated this recently! I've been busy finishing the Pacifist Run in Undertale and that is the reason why in the remaining paragraphs nearing the end had the word "determination" because I was listening to Bergentrückung while writing those last few XD
Also I'm almost done with the Pacifist Run! Time for the Genocide Run kids!

Auf Wiedershen for now!
