It has been about a year and a half month, since our marriage. And I couldn't be more happy. My life with Aarav has been more amazing than I ever imagined. And to add to all this is the fact that I had given the best news to Aarav about a little less than 8 months ago.

It was the best day of my life. Obviously there was the day of my marriage. And then when I first met Aarav. Also when I got my degree. Okay, there had been over too many best days in my life, but this sure tops it all.

It happened about a few days short to 8 months. Me and Aarav had shifted to a new house, gifted to us by Aarav's dad. I was not feeling well for about 2 days. And I had been vomiting too much, and then I as also missed a month of my periods. So that was kind of a sign. But to be sure, I quickly went to a pharmacy to get a pregnancy test pack.

And then after testing it for about 3 times, I was sure. I was pregnant. My happiness knew no bounds. But the bad part was that, I was at home alone and Aarav was at his work. So I was not able to tell him. And I had no intention of telling him this over the phone.

Also, I wanted Aarav to be the first to hear this. So I couldn't tell both, my and Aarav's  mom and dad. After going through the day somehow, it was finally the time he came home. And soon I heard the bell, and I literally ran towards the door to open it.

"Woah Aarohi, why the rush ?" He asked smiling, as he entered.

"Nothing special, I just really missed you. I am glad you are home." I said, not telling him the real reason.

"Are you sure ?" He asked.

"Yes, of course I am. You go freshen up. I am hungry." I said smiling at him.

"You get a lot hungry these days. Are you sure you are okay ?" He asked worried.

"Yes I am. Now go and clean up fast. I will arrange our dinner." I said and went to the kitchen before he could say anything else.

After he came out, we had our dinner quietly. I didn't say much the whole time which got Aarav suspicious.

"Angel, now you are making me worry, are you really okay ? You seem awfully quite today." He asked.

"No, I am perfectly fine. But I have some news for you. But I will tell you that later. Let's finish with the dinner." I said purposely to make him wonder what I wanted to tell him.

"Now I know you did that on purpose. Please tell me what you wanted to tell me. I can't control my curiosity." He said.

"I am done. I will clean up. And we can talk later." I said smirking and getting up.

"I hate you. How can you not tell me now ?" He said with a frown.

"I promise you would love it. Now are you done ?" I said giving him a kiss.

"Yes, I am done. I will help you with cleaning, just tell me already." He said getting up to help me. And I simply ignored him and continued cleaning.

After my work was over, I went to our room, and lied down on the bed.

"You can't seriously sleep. Come on, you have to tell me what is it now." Aarav said as he sat next to me. So I got up and took his hands in mine.

"I am gonna get fat soon." I said smiling widely.

"And you are happ... . Wait, you mean, you are... you are pregnant. I am gonna be a dad." He said as he pulled me in his arms.

"Angel, how can you be so calm all this time. I mean you are pregnant. We are gonna be parents. Oh my God Aarohi, I can't even tell you how happy I am. Did you tell mom and dad ? Wait how long have you known ? How are you feeling ? Do you need anything ? Do you... ." He kept asking and I cut him off.

"Aarav, you are the only person who knows. I wanted you to be the first person to know. And I am perfectly fine." I said smiling.

I could clearly see the happiness in his eyes. It seemed that he was even more happy than I was.

"I just found out... ." But I was not able to finish my sentence as Aarav kissed me.

And instantly, I kissed him back.

And then he was on top of me, pulling on my lips asking for entrance. And wasting no time he slid his tongue inside and kept kissing me.

His hands were all over my body and the way he kissed me made me love him even more. And I wanted him to continue, so I started pulling on his shirt. But he stopped kissing me and pulled back.

"Aarohi, today is the best day of my life. And it's all because of you. You gave me everything I ever wished for. You were the most important person in my life. But from now on, you would be the second most important thing." He said smiling as he caressed my cheek.

"And why is that so ?" I asked even though I knew the answer.

"Because from now on, our child would be the most precious person of my life." He said smiling.

"You are gonna be an awesome father, Aarav. I am so happy that you are gonna be the father of my child." I said smiling.

"Aarohi, we are gonna be parents. I still couldn't believe it." He said smiling, his happiness clear on his face, and I couldn't stop myself from kissing him.

I started kissing him again and he kissed back instantly, his hands now on the hem of my top pulling it up. And he quickly removed it and made me lie down and got above me.

"Angel, you deserve the best of  everything I can give you and even more. You have given me the best news I have ever heard. Thank you so much." He said as he started planting kisses on my stomach.

"Hey buddy, you are really lucky that you got such a lovely mother." He said to my stomach.

"You do realize he can't hear anything yet. I am just 1 and a half month pregnant." I said laughing.

"I don't care. I am gonna talk to this little buddy everyday and you are gonna have to bear with me." He said laughing.

"You are really stupid." I said laughing.

"Did you hear what your mom just said champ. She called me stupid, but I know that you know that your dad is not stupid. Don't listen to your mom." He kept talking to my stomach and I kept listening.

I loved listening him talk to our baby.
But then I couldn't control myself and I got up and kissed Aarav. Then I rolled us over and got above him.

I kept kissing him and he kissed me back passionately. Then I started kissing his cheeks, his jawline and made my way down to his neck and kissed there.

"Aarohi, I love you so much. And I am gonna love our baby just as much, if not more." He said.

"I love you too Aarav, more than you can imagine. I keep loving you more and more each day. And I know our baby would be so lucky to get a dad like you." I said unbuttoning his shirt while looking deep in his eyes.

"And he would be even more lucky to have you as his mother. Don't forget that. We would both be so lucky to have you in our life." He said switching our position and kissing me.

And so went the night, the best night of my life.
