Erin's POV
I walk out of the district. I head over to firehouse 51. I get there and see Gabby Dawson, Antonio's sister. "Hey Erin" "hey gabby what's up" "nothing much, can't say the same for you" she says back with a laugh, I laugh too.
Jays POV
After hanging up the phone on Erin I regret everything. "Sergeant, you are medically cleared and will be heading out to Michigan. "They said a week" "well your one hell of a fighter" the doctor responds. I get up and go to put on my clothes.
Erin's POV
Gabby and I go to the bullpen. "I'm like frustrated with him I can go in to labor any time and he won't be here and it's like I don't want to go through this without him." I say. "I'll be there every step of the way" Gabby says "ambulance 61, truck 81, Squad 3, building fire, 1810 West Elmont Street" the announcer says. "You coming" gabby asks.
Jays POV
We're on the airplane and it's just us. It's so quite you could hear a pen drop. "We're going to get through this" I say, my team looking up at me.
Erin's POV
I hop into truck 81 and sit by gabby. "How's it going" Christopher Herrmann asks "fine " I say looking down at my phone. Otis starts the rig, turning on the sirens, as we roll out.
We get to the fire and there are people outside. I lean against the truck. "My daughters inside" "sir I need you to go wait over there" Stella Kidd says, a firefighter on squad. "You have to go get her" the man says "sir we will do our best" "that's not good enough" he says getting tense so I start to go towards them, when he elbows Kidd in the face. I grab him, but he pushes me to the ground knocking me out.
