The candle flickered in the dim room before going out completely. A match flares in the darkness and a face is seen in the dark. A trembling servant girl walks into the room. "Did you deliver it?" queried the man. "Y...yes." the girl stutters. The man leans back and says, "Leave me." The girl bows her head and hurries from the room. The man steeples his fingers. The candle flares showing the scars that disfigure his features. The man grins. He knows he has Asgard in the palm of his hand.

(Guin's POV)

Crash! I whirled around, ready for attack. But it was only a servant girl who had dropped a plate, she picked it up and left Father's chambers. I noticed that she was looking extremely nervous. "Jumpy?" said Yarnia's amused voice. "A bit." I admitted. "Lets just stay focused." I added. "I was focused, you were the one jumping at servant girls." she snarked. "Alright, let's go." I said as I cast a furtive glance around me. We picked up the pace and scrambled into Father's room. "Aright spread out!" Yarnia ordered. We spread out and started looking for anything to help us find the assassins. "Guin!" I heard Yarnia's voice. I looked over and saw that she was standing by a wall. She had that look on her face and I knew what she had found. "Please be a secret door! Please be a secret door! Please be a secret door!" Yarnia waved her hand and the wall moved. "Yay!" We said together and giggled. "Guin 5 and Yarnia 7!" she whispered. "Hey that last secret door you found does not count, I showed you where it was!" I said. "No you didn't!" she whispered back. "Yes, I did!" "No, you didn't!" "Lets just get back on topic!" I exclaimed. We walked into the room and we saw papers, notebooks, and spell books. I gazed longingly at the books but Yarnia was one step ahead of me. "We can look at those later." she said and I pouted. We spread out and looked for a new note if one could be found. After we searched for 10 minutes we turned our gaze to the last thing we had not searched. The serving tray with an unfinished breakfast. I had seen a note next in the platter but I assumed it was from Grandmother. I now gave it a closer look and suck in my breath. It was a threat. It read:

Trickster,

You must drop off the Bifrost. After you have destroyed Jotunheim you must fall into the Void. Or we will kill your daughters and kill Thor on Earth and Odin while he sleeps.

The Fifth Column

"No!" we cried. Father could not drop off the Bifrost! "We need to keep our wits about us though." I said. "Let's think, how did this note get here." said Yarnia. "That servant girl! She was leaving Father's chambers, she was probably going to collect this tray but could not find it! She probably left the note!" I exclaimed. "Yes, you are right!" Yarnia agreed. "We need to find that girl!" We hurried to the Kitchens and I immediately spotted the girl. I nudged Yarnia and we headed over. She looked up when we walked over and then instantly bowed her head. Yarnia said to her, "We have a question to ask you, if you will follow us." "Of course, milady." she said and walked out of the kitchens. When we got to the hallway we paused and she looked at us expectantly. I held up the note, "Do you know where this came from?" She glanced at it and paled and she began shaking and breathing quickly. "No, milady." She said clearly lying. "Was it a scar faced man?" Yarnia asked. The girl looked quickly at Yarnia and we knew it was an affirmative. "What is his name?" I asked. "I cannot tell you." she whispered. "Please, our Father's life is in danger." Yarnia pleaded. She paled even further, "Prince Loki?" she gasped. "Yes!" I cried impatiently. "Fine, I will his name is Váli the God of Revenge." Yarnia and I looked at each other. Now we had a name and now we had the hunt. It was time to find the Fifth Column.

Okay! For those of you who love Norse Mythology, know that Vali is Loki's son. But in this story he isn't he is if you've guessed...the villain...or at least for Guin and Yarina.
