The next morning when I woke up, there was a costume left for me. I took a shower and put on. It contains sport ledges and a T-shirt.

After I put my hair in a ponytail, and then left the room in the same time as Kai.

He was wearing the same clothes as me, just more manly.

After we greeted each other, we went to eat and then Cole showed us to the training center.

"Stay together. Good luck."said Cole when we were in front of the training center, then turned around and went back to our floor, probably.

Me and Kai looked at each other, then turned around and looked at the doors of the training center.

"Let's do this."Kai said and walked forward. He opened the doors and entered, I followed suit.

Inside were all the other tributes. When we opened the door they all looked at us, and they looked angry.

Me and Kai walked to the back of the group, and listened to one of the trainers as he explained to us how the things work, then told us that we're free to go.

Me and Kai did stay together. We looked around first, to see what we want to do. There was a station to guess witch berries are poisonous and which are not. There was one for throwing knifes and for swords. I saw the station for bow.

The bows looked so good, but I managed to contain myself.

Kai led me to a station for fire-making. The guy there looked so sad, but when he saw us going his way his face brightened.

After we mastered the skill of fire making, we went to learn how to make snares, then went to a bunch of other things. We mastered a lot of skills that can be useful to us, but nobody else tried them.

I looked around the people and tried to identify their skills. A boy from District 1, I think his name was Morro, was good with a sword.

I noticed a little girl, maybe around 12, hiding around the compound. She's too young to be here, I thought.

I am sitting on the coach, back at home. My dad was sitting on my left and Kai on my right. I sat there, hands over my mouth as I watched my sister on the TV. She was fighting with another girl. Amber was on the ground, the girl straddling her. They were punching each other.

Suddenly, the other girl took out a knife and sliced Amber's throat, then I heard the cannon go off.

"NOOO!"I yelled, standing up.

Kai stood up too and wrapped his arms around me, rubbing my hair and back."It's alright. She's in a better place now."he comforted me as I cried.

I woke up screaming, once again, and Kai ran into the room alerted.

"You okay?"he asked.

I nodded and wiped my tears away."Yeah."I told him.

Kai entered the room, closing the door behind himself. He came to my bed and sat down in front of me.

"What was the dream about?"he asked. I sighed and sat up, next to him, and rested my back against the wall.

"It was Amber. I didn't volunteer for her and saw her dying in the Games."I said. I didn't mention the part where he was comforting me. It would be awkward if I mentioned it.

"But she's safe and sound, back in District 12,"Kai said and I nodded. He looked towards me and said."Don't cry. She's alright."

I sniffed a little and lifted my hand to my cheek, and sure enough, it was wet. I haven't realized I am crying.

"Yeah, thanks."I said, nodding.

I looked at the clock on the bedside table and saw it was three in the morning.

"Oh god, I am so sorry I woke you up."I told him, closing my eyes and resting my head on the wall behind me.

"It's alright. I wasn't sleeping either."Kai said, rubbing the back on his neck.

"Nightmares too?"I asked and he nodded, pursing his lips.

"You Umm...you wanna lay together?"I asked, blushing a little. I am glad it's dark right now.

"Yeah, alright."he said and the two of us laid down, next to each other.

We laid, facing each other. I closed my eyes and listened to his even breaths, as he fell asleep too.

The last thing I felt before I fell asleep was Kai flinging his arm on my waist and pulling me closer towards him, then I fell asleep.
