Chapter 6
~Tricki's P.O.V.~
I licked my lips after I finished my blackbird I had caught a while before I had eaten it and stood up. Since there was nothing to do, I decided to go for a walk down by WindClan's border. Just to see if any threats lay there.
I started walking to the entrance and I saw Leopard and Skull fighting, over what, I didn't know. Skull stalked away, ears flat to his skull and fur raising. He stallked angrily to the nursery and in an instant I knew what he was doing. 'I need to leave before the screeches start...' I decided, hurrying out of camp and down the trail. A nice cool breeze tugged at my fur. As I trotted down the trail and through the maze, I stopped and sat on the biggest rock. I breathed in the cool morning air and sighed.
"If only we could stop the fighting for good, and maybe peace would be ours. Thats all I wish for," I muttered to myself. My eyes slitted and my fur went stuck up. 'Someone is here...' I heard a snicker and I flicked my tail and turned my head to see two cats from WindClan; they stunk of heather and... whatever they had in the moor. I fought the urge to rip their throats out and leave them for the hawks.
I hissed, "Hey! What are you doing here? This isn't your territory!" They snickered again, "You went into our territory, why can't we come in yours?" The dark cat with well musceled shoulders growled and stalked up the boulder and slowly circled me. The grey cat that was more sleek and sneaky looking did the same.
"It was our territory to begin with! And stop circling me like your a pair of vultures!" I snarled, ramming my head into his shoulder, pushing the black one off the boulder I was sitting on. "Crowfeather!" The other tom called. "You little," the tom slashed at my nose and I pushed at his neck and he slipped, his claws scratching off the boulder. I looked to where "Crowfeather" was, but he had vanished.
I felt claws scratch my lower back and I whipped around and jumped onto the sneaky toms back and dragged him off the rock. I grabbed onto his neck in my jaws and he screeched in pain. He fought to get my teeth out of his through but I held on. I saw Crowfeather in the corner of my eye run sideways and crash into my side, making me let go and slide off the rock. I stood up and waited, for him to strike at me. My eyes darted to him and the place beside him, searching for an escape plan. I felt weight push me down and all my air was forced out in one big huff as the other tom fell on me.
"Breezepelt, kill her, we don't want anymore trouble from her." They must've known my looks when I stole their kits. I yelped in pain as he bit down on my neck and pulled up. I felt my blood begin to pour out of the gash. "Your Tribe will pay for what it's done." Breezepelt sneered. I screeched in pain as the open would gushed out my warm blood, leaking all over my shoulders and onto the ground.
I looked up at them, crouching on the ground, "Your Clan will pay for stealing our home," I rasped. "You've been trying for seasons upon seasons. I don't think you'll ever win. Breezepelt, put her on the boulder and let her die," Crowfeather demanded. "Lets go tell Blackstar about the battle we should plan." Breezepelt murmured before picking me up by my wound and laying my body onto the boulder. I bit back a hug below of pain and laid there, watching as the sun came up.
Breezepelt came and stood in front of me, eyes filled with hatred and adrenaline. I tried to stand up but just as I put my feet under me and bared my teeth, he grabbed my throat and clamped down as hard as he could, putting a paw on my chest and bringing his head back. I gasped and gurgled as blood began pouring out of my neck. I chocked on my blood and I looked at him with wide eyes, wider then an owls.
The world came to a blurr around me and darkness filled my vision. I listened as Breezepelt and Crowfeather's paw steps sounded farther and father away as they scampered into the territory we fought so hard to get back.

~Venom's P.O.V.~
"We will tell Skull about this and we will set out on a patrol to kill these mange-pelts and make them plead mercy!" I picked my sister up by her bloody scruff and dragged her back up the trail.
Gasps surrounded me from throughout the clearing as we entered the camp. Mini scampered over, "Tricki!" Mini was Tricki's best friend, since they were equal by the size. I dragged her on and let her fall in the middle of the clearing. I saw the new kits shrink behind Shell, Whip and Slash did the same. Whip and Slash had never seen death before, and probably the others hadn't either.
Skull exited his cave, his fur ruffled up. "Skull, we need to kill them like you said. This has gone to far." I growled. He nodded, "Good, I was going to do it with or without you anyway." His chin raised and tail up and he jumped up onto his den.
"Cats old enough to kill come gather to hear my words!" He yowled. "Tomorrow, we will fight these cats and kill anyone in our way! This has gone to far!" Yowls of approval flew through the camp and the two prisoners exchanged glances. Dovewing, the she-cat, hadn't fully healed yet but Leaf said she will be fine. Tigerheart, too was still healing. "We just had a battle, Skull. Why in the name of Tribe of Glittering Stars are we going to fight again?" Skull glared at Shell who had made the comment and he decided to ignore her. I'm surprised he didn't kill her then and there.
"But for now, Whip, Slash, come forward." Bella gasped, "But they aren't clean!" Blood hurried over and cleaned up Slash while Bella cleaned up Whip. Skull waited patiently for them to finish. Whip was first to be done.
"Whip is now 4 moons old and is ready to be an apprentice." Whip was trying to keep still but his paws were dancing on excitement. Nothing can ruin his mood. "Bella, would you like his name to be changed or stay the same?" Skull asked. "No, I think he should have the same name for a while." She smiled at he son. "Very well, Whip, from this moment on, you will be trained and when you become a warrior, I will change your name." Skull meowed, "Venom, do you promise to show this new apprentice the way of our Tribe?" Shock pulsed through my veins. Me? Wow. I dipped my head, "Yes, I will." Whip padded up to me and we touched noses. "We will find your feather and show you the territory in a few heartbeats," I muttered in his ear.
"Slash, come forward. We will keep your name the same until you are made a warrior, just as your brother." Slash nodded once. Slash wasn't ready to prance through the camp like Whip was but his expression said he was excited. "Sunny, do you promise to show this new apprentice the way of our Tribe?" She dipped her head, "I will, Skull." "Then from now and until Slash is made a warrior, Sunny, you will be his mentor." She padded up to him and touched noses with him.
"Whip!" "Slash!" "Whip!" "Slash!" The Tribe cheered the new apprentices. "Sunny, we were going to go kill a bird for Whip, do you want to come?" I called to her as she padded away. Whip trailed behind me as I caught up to her. "Yeah, sure." She meowed.
As we headed out, Skull called to me. I hurried over to our leader. "What?" I hissed. "You need to burry your sister at dawn. And drop her feather down." I dipped my head and pulled out the feather from her head and padded over to where we watched the Clans. I watched it slowly cascade down to the ground.
"What were you doing?" A mew asked from beside me, making me jump in surprise. I looked over to Dovewing. I flicked my ear, "I was dropping Tricki's feather down to the Clans." I meowed. She nodded once, "Why? Is it like a tradition?" She asked. I nodded, "Yup, siblings do it when their brother or sister dies." "We do a vigil all nig-" Tigerheart clamped her mouth shut with his paw. "Stop giving away our ways! We don't want then stealing from us," He muttered.
"You might as well, I don't think your going anywhere as far as I'm concerned," I murmured, padding away and back to Sunny and the new apprentices.

Dawn came and I was due to burry my sister. I finished my fresh-kill with Sunny and cleaned myself up. After this, we would leave to the Gathering.
I slowly padded up to Tricki's body and picked her up by the scruff. I dragged her small body down the trail, through the trail and turned to the way down the gorge where all the cats who have died we buried. I found a perfect place to burry her which was in between two ferns.
I dug until I thought her small body would fit and I dropped her in slowly and carefully. Once in, I plucked off a few fern leaves and laid them on top of her body. She looked so peaceful. I then covered her in dirt to cover her up and left.
Padding away, I headed through the maze until I got to the trail. Whispers sounded just outside the border. Though, they were to muffled to hear. I stalked around the bloody boulder I found my sister on and I saw a few pelts, there backs to me. 'No, not on Gathering night!' My ears pricked as I began to start to make out what they were saying.
"We should wait until tomorrow, when its not so cold." A cat complained. "No, we need to do it now, so they don't know we are coming. We would leave a scent and they would know." The next cat whispered. "Now, I want Crowfeather to take it up the back with Whitewing, Dawnpelt, Tawnypelt and Dustpelt. Head upwards when you get around the back." The tom whispered. He was a ginger tom, green eyes. He must be Firestar.
"Birchfall, take Ivypool, Swallowtail, Reedwhisker, Pebblefoot and Pinenose to steal back Dovewing and Tigerheart." The white cat with jet black paws whispered. He looked to be Blackstar maybe. "Us leaders will take a huge patrol up the trail with, Hearhertail, Starlingwing, Leaftail, Hollowflight, Toadstep and Berrynose. While the rest of you stay here in case they launch an attack to our Clans." A grey she-cat meowed, I had never seen her before. She must be new maybe? She had to be a leader. "Ashfoot, Brambleclaw and Rowanclaw, you are in charge."
Thats when I ran. Stealthily, I ran up the trail, careful not to make noise to frighten them. As soon as I got to the camp, I yowled, "There going to attack now!" Where was Skull?
"I need Mini and Dodger to run to Jagged's Tribe and tell them we won't be attending the Gathering," I called as I leapt onto the High Stone. "I need Scar and Snake to guard the prisoners den, Shadow, Sunny and Blood to protect the nursery. Don't let anyone take the kits, new and ours." I announced. They got to work, Mini and Fawn taking a different pathway to not be heard. Skull pushed me away, "Thank you, but I will take it from here." He muttered and I leaped down. "Wait! Its all four Clans coming too!" I announced as I sat down. "What?" Skull hissed. "Jumper, Beetle, run over to The Tribe of Jagged Rocks and announce we need there help. Go now!" He yowled. The two apprentices followed Mini and Fawn's trail.
"The rest of us need to wait." Skull meowed, "It won't be long. Whip, Slash, go in the nursery. You don't have enough battle skills to kill yet." They groaned, but obeyed Skull's orders.
I heard scampering and my fur on my hackles and neck rose in disgust, but it wasn't them, surprisingly, it was Jagged's Tribe. They came through the trail Mini's had come. Jagged hopped up his den and began to speak, "Lurker, take a patrol outside of the camp and head down to where the rest will be waiting. They obviously won't take every single cat, no one ever does." He announced, Skull nodded in approval. "Take, Venom, Mini, Cow, Jumper, Beetle, Dark, Stomp and Bella. Go." Lurker and I lead the way through the back and waited for the yowling of battle to start.
"I can't believe that all four Clans will be fighting! We don't stand a chance!" I hissed. Lurker nodded, "I know. This is a battle that we can't win. But we will fight all we can." I nodded once to tell him I heard and I craned my neck to get a better hearing at the Tribe. No battle yet. "They take forever. They set off a while ago," I whispered. Lurker flicked his ear and gave me a look of uncertain.
Cow and Jumper were prancing around in excitement. After all, this was only there second battle. "Sh," I sneered, "If the cats coming hear your paws, they will know we're going down to attack." They stared at me and Cow blinked. "Sorry, Venom." Jumper whispered. He sat down and shuffled his paws quietly, Cow did the same.
"Before they attack, we need to think of a plan," Lurker decided. I dipped my head in approval. "Alright, here's the plan:"
