Third Person POV

It was now night time and Y/n was now roaming around forest in the dark. He was having a hard time finding a way back to the RDA base. It has been ours and he still hasn't found a way back to the RDA command base. To top that he also felt like he was going in circles with all the trees around it was hard for him to find out where he was going.

During the day he couldn't find a proper path to get back. So he was just trying memorizing the way he came here when they were flying earlier and before the RDA could trade him and left him for dead. And it was one of the things that he couldn't get off his mind as he was trying to find a way out of the forest.

Y/n POV

It was getting pretty late and no idea where I was at or any idea where I was going at this it feels like I'm just wondering in circles at this point.

Y/n: "Damn it at this point I'll never find my way back."

Was getting a lot harder to find the way back but it was kind of hard when I had to constantly look over my shoulder and my surroundings to make sure I'm not being followed or watched by any predator.

Or being stalked by one of the Na'vi hunters who could be watching me at the moment. Last thing I need is to encounter one of them and then pissing one of them off and they trying to kill me.

God why did this happen to me? What the hell did I do so wrong to get them to betray me? If I have to I'll blast that stupid piece of garbage of a colonel.

Y/n: "God damn piece of shit. I swear to God I hate that man."

I kept on walking as the sun was going down and everything around me was getting dark.

Third Person POV

After another hour of trying the Marine stops and decides to give it a test. The night begins to settle and the soldier finally makes the decision to find a place to rest for the night.

Y/n: "I better find a place to crash for the night..."

He still had enough oxygen left in his mask for hours. But that won't last forever so he would only have to sleep for only a few hours and get back up sometime in the middle of the night to continue making his way back to the RDA base.

Then he had a branch snap which caused him to freeze in place. He stands completely still as if he was an actual statue.

Y/n's Mind: "What the fuck was that?"

The Marine was startled because there should be nothing else out here except for him. He also realize he wasn't the only creature on this planet that lived here. So whatever made that loud tree branch break was big and heavy.

So whatever was behind him was not a person it would have to be a predator. And usually a lot of predators hunt at night Yee must be their prey.

Slowly turn around to see nothing but darkness but looking deep in the darkness deep within the grass he can see a pair of eyes staring at him. Whatever was laying in the grass was huge and had its eyes locked onto him.

The creature slowly emerged from the darkness and it turns out it was a Thanator a very large one in fact.

Y/n's Mind: "You got to be kidding me!"

With quit thinking he began to climb up the tree as fast as he could and the Thanator leaps out from it's crouch position and runs at Y/n to take a bite out him. But the Marine was quick enough to climb up the tree fast enough. The big panther-like creature tried to climb up the tree but it couldn't. The arrangement was almost goes to the top until he accidentally grabs a loose branch which almost caused him to fall.

Y/n: "WOW SHIT!"

He grabs down to the tree holding it on tightly as he looks down and sees the Thanator to find it very disappointed that it didn't manage to get its meal. The Marine science and relief knowing that if he shot the creature it would just make things worse.

Y/n: "That was a close one..."

At the very end he thought it was over but then the branch snaps again and this was the branch that he was holding on to.

Y/n: "Me and my big mouth."

The branch snaps and the Marine begins to fall to the ground.

Y/n: "SHIIIIITTTT!!!!"

The Marine hits the ground causing his head to head a piece of wood causing him to bleed. He couldn't move has his body felt like it was paralyzed.

Last thing he saw was the creature about the bite his head off before everything went dark. The last thing he heard before he closed his eyes was allowed thud.

That loud thud was from the Thanator falling to the ground with 2 arrows in its head. The Thanator was killed

The hunters were thinking about killing him until they saw seeds slowly coming down to his body. Both of the women were shocked seen all the seeds from the sacred tree floating above him.

Slowly the women got down from their hiding spot and approached the human body. They kept their distance as they were approaching the body. The both of them saw seeds of the sacred tree all over him, one even landed on his head, and others were surrounding his body.

After a few minutes of them floating around him they slowly floated away from him and floated into the wind of the night. Both women watched as the seeds floated away from him and off into the air.

After the seeds were gone the women turned their attention back to the human laying on the ground.

One of them checked to see if the human was still breathing and found out that his chest was slowly lifting up and down.

???: "He's still alive."

But the two noticed that blood was leaking from his head.

???: "We must take him back to our village. The Tsahik will be able to help him."

One of them picks up his body and carries him back to their village.
