Setting: Home of Roman Florence in the Rocky Mountains.
Date: July 18, 1991
Time: 11:23PM
Problem: Roman attacks 13 year-old Bethany Florence.

I sat on my bed reading one of the books I found in my parent's room. It was slightly boring but kept me busy while everyone else was doing whatever they do...
I heard a scratching at my window and got up to check it out. Sliding the curtain aside I saw a boney hand. It was a tree.
"You must go to Bethany's room. The demon is trying to hurt her. Now go!" It yelled and I took off towards Bethany's room.
She was asleep in her bed, the creepy aura now surrounding her, instead of the room the baby will be sleeping in. That stupid demon is trying to hurt my sister! Not in my house...
It's like the demon is trying to hurt me by using other people in the house.
This demon just got my cousin Rosey killed not to long ago...

I rolled around with Rosey on my floor in my bedroom. She's the only person who isn't afraid of me.
"RoRo! I'm going to the bathroom. I'll be back in a few minutes!" I cried out to the ginger and stood up to run to the bathroom.

Shuffling down the hallway back towards my room, I held my cat in my tiny arms.
"RoRo I'm back!" I peeked into my room to find Rosey curled up in the corner.
"Rosey? Are you okay?" I stared at her back in horror as her head turned around with sickening cracks and stretching, to look at me.
"I'm FINE!" She screamed in a deep voice that definitely wasn't hers and bolted out the room.
I ran after her trying not to slip and fall. She kept running despite me gaining on her.
Rosey threw the door open and kept running as if her butt was on fire.
"Rosey slow down! Y-you're gonna get hurt!" I cried and reached out to grab the back of her shirt.
I was just about to get a hold of her when she darted out to the middle of the road.
My hands bolted up to my face to stifle a gasp when a large truck came speeding at her.
Time seemed to slow down and it seemed as if she had just resigned from her possessed state.
   "R-Rosey no!"
   "Roman?! ROMA-"
Her sentence was cut short when the truck rammed into her back and a sickening crack split through the air.
I just stood there and watched in horror as her head rolled around the road and blood splattered all over. It was gruesome.

I didn't notice the tears flowing down my cheeks until I realized how warm they were.

I had lost my only friend.

I shook, remembering the devastating thing. It was hard to cope with, you know losing the only person who actually liked you and wouldn't run away screaming when you walked up to say hello or ask a question.
They all blamed me. Said I was the one who brought the damned spirit that possessed her, into our home. That it was after-and should've killed-me but got the wrong person and didn't notice until it was far to late for Rosey.
I miss her dearly. She was so nice to me...but now she's gone. Like every bit if hope I once had.
I felt a single tear slip down my cheek and I quickly wiped it away to make sure no one saw it.
Can't let them know I'm becoming soft. The harassment will just get worse. They've been quiet lately. It's... creepy.
Not hearing the scratching and talking everytime I try to sleep.  Its like they're planning.

I wasn't saying they were planning anything, just saying they could be. They told me that they had eyes... EVERYWHERE. Scary thing to think about right?  Monsters that are constantly watching your every move. Counting your breaths. Marking down the days until you go COMPLETELY INSANE!

It gives you straight up  paranoia just thinking about it. Hard, I know. I've thought about suicide and few times but I know not even death would stop them... not even ridding of all monsters in this world would stop them! They know things they shouldn't.
They know things that we humans don't know yet.
They sit and watch and laugh at is while we kill off ourselves by destroying the only place that can actually home,  human beings. (That we currently know of.)

I gazed around the room and looked for something.  A shoe to be exact. Found it or one? I shuffled over to grab the shoe and turned it in my hands. It looked weak. But that doesn't matter right now!
I spun on my heel and started to tip-toe back over to my sisters bed.
I carefully lifted myself overtop of my sister to straddle her sides.
This was it.  Lifting the shoe above my head I bought it down forcefully,  hitting Bethany on the face creaking a cracking sounds.

   She let out a scream.
