And with that,the day ended,with the two friends holding a canvas on their hands.

"I am so glad Mister Jonathan let us do whatever we liked on art class." Chris said with a big smile,looking at his artwork.

David leaned a bit to see what he have done and blinked a couple of times from what he saw.

"Dude,you drew two dinosaurs kissing each other..How in-."

"Not just any dinosaurs,they are me and Jen!"

David squinted his eyes,until he actually saw it as on one dinosaur there was messy brown hair and the other one had her straight dark brown hair and the red glasses she usually wears.

"What did you do David?" Chris asked with a smile,looking at him as David looked at his canvas and then gazed away.

"Nothing in particular."

"Show me!"

"No."

He pouted.

"Meanie." He poked his cheek as David just blinked.

Chris shivered,as if he could feel the coldness of his stare freezing his finger,as his white skin didn't help with the whole coldness.

"Jeez man,that stare can kill."

"Thank you,I have been practicing it from the day i was born."

Chris rolled his eyes and they kept on moving,heading to their favorite place in the town.

The forest,the only quiet and calm place,away from anyone and anything.

Chris inhaled with a smile,looking around the trees and flowers,as a butterfly flied past him making him giggle.

David,on the other hand,was sneezing and had a bit of an itch,groaning in pain as whatever flied past him would kill it with his own hands.

"I love spring!"

"I hate it."

Chris rolled his eyes and looked over to him."Just say something positive for once,this whole scenery it is just beautiful!"

"The whole scenery makes my nose runny as I am scratching myself like a motherfucker from itching."

Chris being unamused from his answer,they kept on walking until they reached far away from the town,right into the heart of the forest.

They both sat down and rest their backs against the tree,sighing deeply.

"Inhaling that fresh air is so soothing." He said silently as he closed his eyes with a smile.

"Yeah,inhaling those allergies is great too." He mumbled with a chuckle as he tried to take a deep breath.

Chris laughed too,opening his eyes,watching the birds fly around,chirping happily.

"You really think that Jen and I,will never be a thing?" David opened his eyes,feeling a bit bad knowing the reason Chris asked that.

"Hey,I am an asshole,don't ever take a word I say when it comes in relationships.I don't know how that whole process works but." He turned his head,looking at him with a small smile."If you are positive about it,then why not give it a try.But,let things come on its own and don't rush it."

He smiled and flicked his runny nose."You actually do care,no matter how much of a cold brick you are."

David rolled his eyes and slapped his hand away."Oh shut it,you are my best friend since primary school,you only to deserve to be my friend and you only deserve to see that side of me,because bros.."

They both got their hands together with a tight grip.

"Stay together."

They both smiled as they said that,before Chris turned to the side and grabbed his bag.

"I brought snacks,though we should be careful not to throw anything or make a mess." He said pulling out a container with homemade chocolate cookies and brownies.

"Oh yes,I live for your cooking." David said as he snatched the container from his hands.

"Hey!"

"Mine now."He opened it as he already devoured the first cookie.

"If you eat them all I swear."

He hid the container with his arms and kept on eating the chocolate goods.

"You know what,I don't need chocolate!Keep it I will,uh." He looked around,standing up."I will uh,ah!Eat something from what nature will provide me!

With a proud smile,he approached an apple tree,getting up on a semi-big rock and making tip toes,grabbing an apple.

"Since you are there,catch one for me."

Chris gave him a glare.

"I already ate all of them,so something healthy will balance it."

"That's not true,but anyway,catch."

He made tip toes again,about to grab another apple as he was going to throw the other one.

But as he was reaching for the apple being a bit higher up,he found himself slipping at the moment he threw it over to David.

And because of that,his face met the ground as the apple fall on top of the tree that David was leaning on,slowly falling down the branches.

"Your aim is so trash as the painting of the dinosaurs."

Chris groaned,his face still on the ground as David playfully placed his foot on his bottom,making him groan more as he mumbled curses for him under his breath.

David chuckled with his pain,but helped him up,noticing the apple stopping right at the end of a branch,the leaves slightly caressing it.

"That was a close one." He grabbed the apple but suddenly,the leaves at the end snapped around it,making him back up as Chris yelped.

"What the." The branch slowly withdrew back to the tree,as the wind started picking up,and the leaves slowly wrapped around the tree.

David was standing in front of Chris,staying in guard of protection for him.

Chris slightly clung at his black sleeve of the hoodie,but still getting himself a bit on the front as his eyes stayed serious and focused on whatever might happen.

The wind calmed down,as the leaves slowly fall on the ground,and from what once was a tree.

A long exhale escaped its lips,holding the apple near to its heart,with a smile.

"Finally."
