Spending The Day With Sting Part 2

~Jessie's P.O.V.~

I knew as soon as he had asked me about Gray and Natsu that he was going to ask about the number one strongest person in Fairy Tail High. It's funny though, I never paid much attention to the fact that I was, although I do know that I don't like other people knowing. They treat me differently when they find out, and I don't want to be.

"WHAT?!" Sting yelled when I said it was me. Tch, I expect no different.

"Hey, is the strawberry lemonade here good?" I ask, trying to change the subject. Sting looked at me like I was crazy or something.

"You are the strongest person in one of the best schools, and you're asking me if the strawberry lemonade is good??" Sting said, a bit irritated. I sighed.

"That's the problem," I muttered, looking down

"What is?" he asked, his voice suddenly sounding worried.

"I never wanted to be the strongest, it just, happened..." I sighed. "Now everyone treats me differently, like I'm someone to be praised or a weirdo. Either way, I don't like it." Sting's face softened.

"Well...don't you like being treated like your special?" he said. I shook my head.

"I mean, sure, a little, but not so much." I took a deep breath and shook my head. "I guess I shouldn't expect any different anyways," I plastered on a forced smile.

"Well, I treat you no differently than I would any other girl," Sting grinned.

"You let all girls hang out in your apartment?" I asked with sarcasm.

"Only pretty ones," he smirked. I rolld our eyes as a waitress came to our table.

"Hello, welcome to The Breakfast Bar," the waitress greeted with a bright smile. "What would you like to order?"

"One lemonade and one strawberry lemonade please," Sting ordered before I could say anything.

"Anything else?"

"Hmm, an omelette," Sting said and leaned into the waitress's ear and said something that I couldn't quite hear. The waitress smiled and giggled.

"Right away!" she said and left. I narrowed my eyes in suspicion.

"What did you tell her?" I asked him. He smirked.

"Oh, nothing," he waved off.

"You didn't flirt with our waitress did you?" I raised an eyebrow.

"What? No!" Sting sputtered. "How low do you think I am??"

"Mm, depends," I said with a sly smile. He pouted and puffed out his cheeks, making me giggle. I had to admit, he looked cute when he does that. After a couple minutes the waitress came back with our drinks. She set the one with pink in it next to me and the other next to Sting.

"There you go," she grinned. "The omelette you ordered will be here in just a minute." She then left.

"Seriously, what did you tell the waitress?" I whine, getting a bit anxious. Sting smirked again and took a loud slurp of his lemonade.

"You'll see," he smirked when he was done slurping. I roll my eyes and take a sip of my strawberry lemonade. It was surprisingly good, compared to others one I have drank before. I need to take a mental note to come back for the strawberry lemonade..

"And here is your omelette for two," said the waitress, setting a plate down on the middle of our table. Wait, did she say two??

"Thank you," Sting grinned.

"Anything for a couple," she winked. Wait, did she just say couple?!

"W-we're not a couple!" Sting and I both said at the same time.

"Huh? Oh, my apologies, you two look so cute together though," the waitress smiled and left us alone. Hmph, I swear she looks and acts like Mira, but with blonde hair.

"Did you say for two?" I asked Sting. He nodded. "Okay...then why is there one spoon and fork?" He smirked and it took me only a second to realize what he wanted. "Ohhh no no no no..." I sweatdropped. "I'm not that hungry.."

"Aw come on, just once?" Sting pleaded.

"No," I said bluntly. Again, he gave me those big sad puppy eyes. >_< I really hate my weakness!! "Alright fine!" I grumbled. His eyes lit up and he cut out a small piece of the omelette. He then hovered it in midair, waiting for me to open my mouth. I grumble a couple of words under my breath and open my mouth like a child. he then inserted it into my mouth and I ate it. I then looked away, my cheeks blushing furiously. I can't believe I just agreed to do that.

"Another one?" Sting asked, holding out another bite.

"NO." This time, I was sure.

"Alright alright, jeez," Sting sweatdropped. When we were finished, Sting paid for the meal and we left the place.

"So, where to now?" I asked. Sting examined me and a mischievous smile creeped onto his lips.

"Do you...have a lot of clothes?" he asked.

"No...just a couple....why?" I asked, not liking where this is going. He grabbed ahold of my hand. I blushed again. Does he think holding hands with a girl is normal..?

"Then I know exactly where we're going next," he said and started pulling me towards wherever our next destination was. It was only a couple of seconds before he stopped in front of another shop. I looked up at the shop and my eyes widened. It was a clothes store, mainly for teens. I looked at Sting, who looked back at me with a playful smirk.

"Um Sting, what are you thinking...?" I asked, not sure where this was heading.

"Oh, we're getting you new clothes," he smirked, pushing me into the store, "and I'll be the one picking them." What?!

"Oh no, I-I'm fine," I stuttered.

"Tsk tsk, come on Jessie, your fashion sense is pretty terrible. Let a pro help you!" Sting insisted.

"What do you mean it's terrible?!" I huffed.

"Well, your hair style is so...gloomy, but you wear outfits that are so bright. You need to fix that," he answered. He pushed me all the way into the store, and almost immediately dissapeared into the girl's section. He soon came back, holding some clothes. He handed it to me, and I looked at him dumbfounded. It was a crystal blue and black dress that came down to my knees, white stockings with pink bows on the top, and sparkly lavender flats.

"You want me to...try this?" I sweatdropped.

"Yeah," he grinned and pointed to a changing stall. "Hurry up!" He pushed me into it, and I sighed. Great, guess I seriously have no choice but to put these on...

~Sting's P.O.V.~

I tapped my foot impatiently for my "creation" to come out with the outfit I gave her. After a very long time, she finally came out, and my eyes widened. "Whoa..." was all I could say. She looked so....radiant with those colors on. It really suited her, especially with that heart shaped golden locket that she had on.

"You sure this suits me?" she muttered, her cheeks slightly pink. I smile and nod.

"Yeah, I'm sure. You just need oooone thing.." I hold out my hand, waiting for her to give it to me, but she looked at me weirdly. I roll my eyes. "Hair clip?" I asked.

"How did you know I have one?" she asked suspiciously. I shrug.

"I heard the clinking sound in your pocket and recognized it," I answered.

"You knew it was a hair clip just from a sound?" she asked, not convinced.

"Hey, what can I say? I have super sharp hearing," I smirked. She rolled her eyes, but handed me a white clip. I smile and brush off the hair that was covering her eye. I then clipped it with the hair clip. "There, perfect," I grinned. I gestured to the mirror and her eyes widened as she looked at herself.

"Have to admit...it's nice," she said with a tiny smile.

"Told ya I have good fashion sense," I said proudly. She smiled.

"Alright, so maybe you do.." she giggled. "But are you sure that I look better without my hair in my eye?" I smile and instinctively touch her cheek that used to be covered.

"Positive," I grinned. Her sparkly crystal blue eyes are really pretty up close... When I realized that I was staring right at her, I quickly back away, slightly blushing. "So...want me to pay for those clothes?" I ask, scratching the back of my neck. She smiled and shook her head.

"Nah, I got it," she waved off. She went back into the changing stall and changed back to her clothes, but I was surprised to see that she still kept the white clip on. I had to admit, she looked prettier without her hair covering one of her beautiful eyes.

Thu-thump. Thu-thump.

A-re? Was that my heartbeat? Why is it so fast..? Jessie went up to the cashier and paid for the clothes. She then walked up to me with a bag containing the clothes in her hand. I looked at her and took in all the details. Her warm smile, her crystal blue eyes.. "Hey, Sting?" I was snapped back to reality with Jessie waving her hand in my face. "Jeez, you space out a lot huh?" she giggled. Why does my heart skip a beat whenever she giggles like that? Am I sick or something...? "Whatcha thinking about?" she asked curiously.

"Iya...nothing," I wave off. "It's nothing."

"Okay good, cause it's your turn.." she smirked.

"Oh, oka-wait, my turn for what?" I asked confusingly.

"Your turn to get a makeover," she said with an evil smile. Uh-oh...
