~Jessie's P.O.V.~

        "Um, what?" I said, still surprised that he was the person my schedule was synced to.

        "Hmm, the word 'buddy' not good?  Okay, how bout 'partner'?" he suggested, obviously enjoying my reaction.  I sigh.  This day just keeps getting better.

        "Right, sorry, and you must be one of the new students here?" I asked once I got it together.

        "Shouldn't I be the one asking that?" he smirked.  Add "cocky" to the list of words I would describe him as...

        "I'll take that as a 'yes'.." I said with a forced smile.  "Well, I should be going, I'm going to be late for gym.."  I started to walk, not really knowing where I was going, but anywhere away from him was good.

        "Hey, where you going?" he asked, catching up to me.

        "Class," I replied emotionlessly.

        "Well, for starters, we're going to the same class," he said, standing in front of me, "and second, this is the wrong way."  I sighed in defeat.  I knew he wasn't lying because school had started five months ago so he probably knew his way around by now.

        "Okay, where's gym class then?" I asked him.

        "Follow me," he smirked, offering me a hand.

        "Lead the way please," I said, not taking his hand.  He pouted but started running, fast.  Oh, he thinks he can outrun me huh?  Not a chance.  I ran at full speed, following the blonde spiky hair that stood out through the crowds of students.  He finally skidded to a halt in front of a big wooden door.  When he noticed me, his smirk grew wider.

        "I'm surprised you can keep up with me, um..?"

        "Jessie," I finished for him.  "Jessie Celestia."

        "Oh, Jessie, I like that name," he said with a smile instead of a smirk, which was surprising for me because I had never seen him truly smile before, just smirk, but that didn't stay long.  "Cute name for a cute girl." Aaand we're back to the smirk.

        "Sorry, but I'm not into players playboy," I said with my own smirk.

        "Playboy?" he said confused.

        "That's what I'm going to call you, so get used to it," I smirked.

        "Is that anyway to treat your partner?" he said with big sad puppy eyes.

        "Just because you're in my every class does not mean I will take pity on you playboy," I said, mimicking his own tone of cocky.

        "Well, because you said that, be warned if you battle me in gym," he said in a serious tone.

        "Yeah, I'm scared to death already," I said sarcastically as I opened the door.  "Holy.." I said without thinking.  "This place is huge!"
