I saw a horrible sight. Gray laying on the ground unconscious and Juvia standing in a position that told me she was ready to take an attack. The enormous purple snake was charging at her, preparing itself to bite her.

"JUVIA!" I shouted as I darted in front of the water mage, using my body to shield hers.

I was just in time too, the giant jaws unhooked and swung themselves wider as the reached my throat.

I felt the large fangs pierce my skin and poison seeped out into my body. It all seemed to go in slow motion, I saw every bit even more clearly than I did before.

'"MASTER!!" Juvia, Erza, and Elfman screamed in a hurried panic.

The snake unhooked its jaws from around my neck after a moment of letting its evil sink deep into me. I could not feel a single part of my body as I came crashing down on the hard wooden floors.

"Hey I got their master!" Cobra shouted in joy.

I felt the hand of Juvia on my shoulder as I was being rolled over to face the ceiling. I lay on my back, unable to move. I gazed up at her, a relieved smiled across my lips.

"Juvia...You're...alright." I spoke softly, glad that my efforts weren't for nothing.

Tears streamed down Juvia's pretty pale face, her hands covering her quivering mouth. I could feel a sudden pain as the venom started to rush through out my body.

Nearly every remaining conscious member was fighting vigorously to take down the dark guild that had attacked us.

Evergreen had somehow managed to turn Angel to stone around the same time I took down Midnight.

Juvia grabbed my head and placed it gently in her lap, taking one of her hands, placing it on my cheek.

"Lucy...Lucy saved Juvia." She cried.

"Juvia...please don't cry." I asked sweetly.

She shook her head and clenched her eyes shut. "Juvia was ready to take that hit! Why did you jump in front of Juvia?!"

Her screams were heard by the guild members, getting their attention. Racer had been taken down only moments ago by Erza. All that was now left was Cobra.

Elfman, Evergreen, Erza and MiraJane were all taking him on at the same time, there is almost no possible way he was going to come out of this.

"I'd do anything to protect the members of this guild, Juvia. You know this. Just like you were going to take the hit for Gray." I forced out between the flashes of immense pain pulsing through my body.

"Cubellios! What have you done?!" Cobra screamed in agony over his snake.

I turned my head to see a snake that had been turned to stone as it was about to attack Evergreen. Now Cobra would have to fight alone.

Evergreen and Elfman backed out, leaving Mira and Erza to finish off Cobra who seemed to distracted with the stone snake to even notice them.

"Lucy!" Evergreen cried as she and Elfman rushed over to me and Juvia.

"Master...there is blood every where. Its coming from your throat!" Elfman's eyes widened in terror.

"Where is Wendy, she can help you!" Ever screamed.

Wendy had been knocked unconscious only a few moments before by Racer. There was no way she could help me now. But at this moment, I don't really mind.

I accept my fate. I am coming to join you, Natsu.

"Master!" Erza sprinted over to me, adding to the growing crowd I was getting around me.

Evergreen had grabbed my hand and was holding it tightly in hers. I smiled up at everyone. Though their crying faces pained me, I was overwhelmed with joy seeing that all of them will live to see the next day now that all of Oracion Seis was defeated.

I knew the poison was spreading, and there was nothing anyone could do about it. Plus the fangs had made holes in my neck that will surely cause me to bleed out if the venom doesn't kill me first.

"Lucy, why would you do that for Juvia?!" Juvia cried even harder now.

"Don't cry, everyone. I get to see Natsu now, remember?" I smiled lightly.

"What about us?!" Levy voice screamed at me, she was supporting an injured Gajeel as she neared.

"As long as you all have each other, I know everything will be fine." I spoke.

Elfman pounded his hands on the ground. "No! I will not accept this!"

"Elfman, be strong okay?" I requested.

I saw Virgo and Loke appear next to us.

"Princess?!" Virgo shouted, it was the first time I had ever heard her raise her voice.

"Lucy?!" Loke cried as he bent down near me.

My smile grew wider. "Loke! Virgo! Have you come to see me off too?"

Loke's eyes filled with tears. "No no no no! I cant lose you too!"

"I will punish myself for not protecting you, Princess." Virgo bowed.

I shook my head. " No one needs punishment."

"Why isn't someone saving her?!" Loke screamed at the members.

"There is nothing we can do...Wendy, our healer is out cold. The venom is only minutes from reaching her heart." Erza spoke sadly.

Loke shook his head. "She saved me from disappearing. She is the only reason I am here right now! Why cant I do anything to save her from disappearing too!! This isn't fair!"

My heart began to ache, not because of the venom, but because of the pain that came with seeing my friends like this.

I felt myself drifting off. I knew I was going very soon.

"Erza Scarlet, Fairy Tail's Titania!" I spoke boldly.

"Yes, Master?" She questioned.

I looked up at the ceiling. "I wish to leave Fairy Tail."

"Master!" Erza cried and dropped her head down the the floor.

"I wish to leave Fairy Tail!" I repeated.

"Whenever you wish to leave fairy Tail, you are free too, but there you are expected to follow three rules." Erza started.

"One. You must never reveal sensitive information about Fairy Tail to others for as long as you live." Erza took a break in order to get a hold of herself. After a moment she started again.

"Two. You must never use former contacts met through your being in the guild for personal gain." She paused once more. I wasn't sure if she could go on.

I opened my mouth to speak out the next line. "Three. Though our paths may have diverged...you must continue to live out your life with all your might!" I stopped momentarily to take a few pained breaths.

"Must you never consider your own life to be something insignificant." I breathed in as hard as I could. "And you must never forget about your friends for as long as you live!" I felt my own face was dripping tears.

Erza's head flew back and she cried into the air. "MASTER!!!"

With my last words, my body shut down. I battled with the poison but in the end, I had lost.

I felt as If I was falling.

"You see Natsu here is a wizard too!"

"Save the tears for when we win, Lucy"      "Yeah, I'm all fired up."

"You left me here alone! Do you have any idea what that has done to me?!"
