Tour Venue Twenty-Three

The Star Theatre, The Star Performing Arts Centre, 1 Vista Exchange Green, #04-01, Singapore

The venue is situated in one-north, a subzone and business park in Queenstown area of Singapore.  The high tech area has biomedical sciences, ICT and media industries. 

The Star is a hub that is mixed use -  a Civic and Cultural Zone called The Star Performing Arts Centre and a retail mall called The Star Vista. 

Completed in October 2012, it was designed by Aedas Architects and is owned by the business arm of New Creation Church.  It is their main venue for worship and the megachurch has an average Sunday attendance of 33k. 

The building is inspired by the constellations - a symbol of guidance and beauty.  It is critically acclaimed and has been awarded many architecture and design awards.

The modern development has a total of 15 levels and the Performing Arts Centre is 38,000 sqm based on levels 3 to 11. 

There are four main areas along with an addition 9 spaces that can be hired for concerts, private parties, meetings, publicity events, movie screenings, community events and more.

The Star Theatre is a horseshoe shaped auditorium set out with stalls and two circle levels.  The last row of seats at the upper circle are just 56 metres away from the stage.  The seating capacity is 5,000.  This state of the art venue offers uninterrupted sightlines to stage, amazing acoustics, and excellent facilities backstage. 

The first concert held there was by David Foster.
