The girl that found Splinter arrived at her apartment. She walked inside and locked the door, then she went to the kitchen table and gently put down Splinter after getting a pillow. Then she walked to the bathroom and got a firstaid kit. Her twelve year old sister came out of her room.

Little sister: Kaya. What are you doing with that firstaid kit?

Kaya: come and you see.

They walked to the kitchen and Kaya's little sister saw Splinter.

Little sister: What is that. It's cute.

Kaya: I think it's some kind of mutated rat. I need to take care of his injurise.

First she used bandage on his tail and then moved on to his head. Gently she cleaned around the bump and put a bandage around his head.

Kaya: That would do it. He should wake up soon.

Little sister: I hope so.

Kaya stood up and was about to walk to the bathroom to return the firstaid kit with her sister, when they heard.

Splinter: What happened?

That made them stand still, they slowly turned around to see that Splinter was awake and looked around.

Kaya: Did you just. Talk?

Little sister: Like a human?

Splinter: Yeah. Who are you?

The girl's hearts almost popped out, they haven't seen any rat that can talk. But when Kaya thought about it this wasn't a normal rat. She stayed calm.

Kaya: My name's Kaya.

Nya: And i'm Nya.

Kaya: And you?

Splinter was thinking but couldn't find whay his name was.

Splinter: I don't remember. To be honest. I don't remember anything up to this point.

Kaya felt bad for the little rat man when he looked down sad. Nya did too and went to him, lifted him up and hugged him.

Kaya: It's okay. You can stay here tills your memories return. But what am I gonna call you.

Splinter was sat in the wooden table and walked a little but the yelped when he stepped on a splinter.

Splinter: Ow!

Kaya walked up to him and took out the splinter. Then she got it.

Kaya: Now I know what to call you. Splinter.

Nya: That's a cute name.

Splinter: I love it.

Kaya smiled at the happy rat and really hoped that his memories would return and he would remember who he was. But deep down she really wished he could stay with her and nya so they doesn't need to be alone anymore.
