The turtles just got home to the lair after their mission. Raph and Mickey flopped down in the coach, Donnie went to his lab and Leo walked to Splinter's room.

Leo: Sensai we're back.

He looked inside the room and saw it empty which was weird.

Leo: Weird. Sensai is always in his room meditading.

He walked to his brothers.

Leo: Have any of you seen master Splinter? He's not in his room.

Raph: No we haven't.

Mickey: Sorry dude.

Just then Donnie screamed scaring them.

Donnie: NOOOOOOO!

He came running with a broken raygun in his hands.

Donnie: Did any of you touch this before we left? Mickey!?

Mickey: Don't look at me dude.

Leo: Are you sure you didn't lay it where it could easly fall off?

Donnie: I'm sure.

Raph: What even was that?

Donnie: A sizechanger. It can shrink and grow things. I tested it this morning and now it's broken.

Leo then realised something.

Leo: Oh no.

Raph: What?

Leo: Splinter was alone here while we where on the mission. He must have accidentely knocked it down and gotten shot.

The others eyes widend.

Mickey: So we could have accidentely stepped on him!?

Donnie: No! The sizechanger can't shrink that small. It can only shrink to around 8 inches. We would have seen him.

Leo: But he's not here.

They've thought and then Raph got it.

Raph: He must have gone looking for us.

Mickey: All alone? Even I know that's dumb in that size.

Leo: He must have gotten so shocked that he didn't think through.

Raph: We must find him quick.

Donnie: I stay here fixing the sizechanger.

Leo: Then let's go!

Everyone except Donnie ran to search for Splinter.

Speaking of Splinter. He was still unconscious by the pile of trash and just then a girl around fifteen walked by. She had almost walked by the allyway when she heard someone groan in pain. So she quickly followed the sound and by a pile of trash she saw what looked like a rat with clothes and nealed down.

Girl: What's this kind of rat?

She thought and then got it.

Girl: It must be a mutant.

Then she gently picked him up and saw his tail that was swollen and also the big bump in his back head. Her animal loving heart almost shattered.

Girl: Poor guy. I better take him home to me and take care of him.

She rised up and held him safetly in her hands and walked out of the allyway on her way to her house.

The three turtles appered in the allyway Just some minutes after and missed her. They looked everywere they could, they even contacted April and Casey who was looking around in allyways aswell. After half an hour it got dark.

Raph: We better go back home Leo. And continue tomorrow.

Leo: Not with Splinter still out there somewhere. What if something happens to him?

Raph: He's smart and skilled. He'll make it.

He could see that Leo was worried and Put his hand on his shoulder.

Raph: We'll find him.

Leo nodded and they went back to the lair. They went to sleep but had a hard time sleeping. Ecspecialy Leo. He was starring att his cealing and just saying to himself.

Leo: Where are you father?
