Weißt du? - German Poetry

Wow. Ok. So, I am pretty damn proud of how well my German is progressing, even if it is rather slow by my own standards and the standards of the asshats I have the displeasure of calling YRATOR (flip that around and you've got the name - I don't want to write it out correctly, as I run the risk of summoning them from hell).

I had a GIGANTIC stroke of poetic inspiration today, and I'm sure you can imagine my surprise when instead of my muses speaking English or some variation thereof, they busted out in fairly grammatically correct German.
I have no idea where the whole winter flower theme came from (considering it's summer and I'm allergic to flowers) but I took it and ran. Thus, here is my little newborn child:

Weißt du?
Weißt du, wo die Blumen sind,
Wenn, im Winter, kommt der Wind?

Weißt du, wo die Blumen sind,
Wenn sie, von Schnee, bedeckt sind?

Weißt du, wo die Blumen wachsen?
Ich hoffe, sie möchten mich nicht verlassen.

Weißt du, wohin die Blumen gehen?
Weißt du, was die Blumen sehen?

Weißt du, wann die Blumen zurückkommen werden?
Ich werde auf sie warten hier auf Erden.

(Eh, here's a rough English translation.
It doesn't work as a rhyming poem in English, but it's not too bad)

Do you know?
Do you know where the flowers are,
When, in winter, the wind comes?

Do you know where the flowers are,
When they, from snow, are covered up?

Do you know where the flowers grow?
I hope they don't want (decide) to leave me.

Do you know where the flowers go?
Do you know what the flowers see?

Do you know when the flowers will come back?
I will wait for them here on the earth (ground).
