The wedding of a Time Lady.

A brown haired, blue eyed woman in a white dress started back at Violet as she stood in front of the full length mirror in her room. Gone was her wild curly blonde hair and dark brown eyes, She looked completely different. Her has were clasped in front of her and she couldn't help but move them every so often in nervousness.

''Would you stop fidgeting for just one moment please,'' Lily was stood behind her trying to style Violets hair so it fell down the side of her head slightly curly, although it was very hard to do when Violets new hair was extremely straight, which meant Lily had to spend time curling each part of Violets hair.

''I'm sorry, it's just I'm more nervous than I thought I would be,'' Violet confessed as Lily secured the last piece of hair in place with a Bobbie pin.

''Well you shouldn't be, everything will be fine,'' Lily reassured the time lady as she placed a beaded head band around the top of Violets head. Once the band sat snugly on her head Lily attached a veil to the back of it.

Violet's thoughts drifted away from her, she had wondered what the Doctor was doing with her and Jones gone. Many thoughts flew through her head, was he mopping around the Tardis, sad that Rose was gone or was he running through a spaceship corridor desperately trying the save the universe yet again.

---

Unfortunately none of Violets theories where right, for the Doctor was in his Tardis trying to keep it steady as he flew opposite a black cab, that had a red headed woman sat inside in ironically a wedding dress.

''Open the door!'' The Doctor shouted towards the woman as he tried desperately to hold onto the door frame of the Tardis.

''Do what?'' The woman shouted back, she clearly hadn't heard what the Doctor had been saying since she had to rely on lip reading.

''Open the door!'' He shouted again and this time she understood.

''I can't, it's locked!' Huffing a little the Doctor pulled out his sonic screwdriver and pointed it towards the window, which then allowed the red head to open it.

''Santa's a robot,'' She cried out.

''Donna, open the door,'' The Doctor ordered.

''What for?'' Donna replied.

''You've got to jump!''

''I'm not blinking flip jumping. I'm supposed to be getting married!'' Donna exclaimed gesturing subtly towards her dress as she shouted at the Doctor.

''Listen to me. You've got to jump,'' The Doctor spoke in a calmer tone this time, hopping that it would persuade her to jump.

''I'm not jumping on a motorway,'' Judging by Donna's response it clearly didn't work.

''Whatever that thing is, it needs you. And whatever it needs you for, it's not good! Now, come on!'' The Doctor tired.

''I'm in my wedding dress!'' The Doctor inwardly groaned, thank god he didn't have the same problem when he met Rose or Violet. It would be a long time before either of them got married.

''Yes, you look lovely! Come on!'' The Doctor shouted again and Donna finally plucked up the courage to open the taxi's door.

''I can't do it,'' Donna suddenly became scared as she looked down seeing the road pass by underneath her in a blur.

''Trust me.''

''Is that what you said to her? Your friend? The one you lost? Did she trust you?'' Donna asked.

''Yes, she did. And she is not dead. She is so alive. Now, jump!'' Then she jumped.

---

Violet was now sat behind a makeup table and used the mirror to guide her in putting her earrings in. Once they were on the door of her room opened and a black haired, very tall and slender woman strode into the room.

She wore a red dress, with a fishtail bottom and V-neckline, if it wasn't for a pinched pale face or thin red lips she would have looked quite beautiful, though sadly Violet would think you were blind if you ever suggested such a thing. Her name was Maria and she had been Violets guardian since she was taken form Galifrey and protected from the time war.

''I never thought I'd ever see you willingly get into a dress,'' She remarked striding over to stand behind Violet, as she spoke again her hands moved to rest on Violets shoulder and Violet liked nothing more than to shrug them off straight away, ''there is no denying to do look absolutely stunning.''

''I'm sure that's the only compliment you've ever given me,'' Violet replied rather rudely as she moved to stand up and slip her heels on.

''I'm going to pretend I never heard that because every things nearly ready and every time I talk to you about manners it seems to go straight in one ear and out the other,'' Maria spoke moving towards Violets bedroom door gesturing for her to follow.

Violet just huffed and walked out of the room following behind Maria. Yet again her mind wandered wondering what the Doctor was getting up to.

The Doctor and Donna stood inside an abandoned basement that ran right underneath HC Clements.

''Someone's been digging. Oh, very Torchwood. Drilled by laser. How far down does it go?'' The Doctor questioned as he peered down a very large hole in the floor.

''Down and down, all the way to the centre of the Earth!'' A voice called over some sort of radio.

''Really? Seriously? What for?'' The Doctor exclaimed more than just confused.

''Dinosaurs,'' Donna suggested.

''What?''

''Dinosaurs?'' This time she said it as a question instead of a statement.

''What are you on about, dinosaurs?'' The Doctor exclaimed.

''That film, Under the Earth, with dinosaurs. Trying to help,'' Donna shrugged.

''That's not helping.'' The Doctor finally said hopping Donna wouldn't say anything else about dinosaurs.

''Such a sweet couple,'' The voice teased.

''Only a madman talks to thin air and trust me, you don't want to make me mad. Where are you?'' The Doctor asked calling.

''High in the sky. Floating so high on Christmas night,'' The voice taunted.

''I didn't come all this way to talk on the intercom. Come on, let's have a look at you!'' The Doctor replied.

''Who are you with such command?'' The Voice asked.

''I'm the Doctor.''

''Prepare your best medicines, doctor man, for you will be sick at heart.''

---

Violets heart beat faster as every second went past; she now had a bouquet of white and pink flowers clutched in her hands. Behind her stood Lily, who held her veil along with another maid who worked in the palace, Violet was getting married in the palace, it wouldn't be very proper to have it in an army base now would it.

''You look stunning, by the way,'' Jones whispered to her as he offered his arm out to her.

''Thank you and thank you for giving me away even though I know you don't want to,'' She replied with a nervous smile of her own.

''You'll be fine,'' Jones reassured her as he felt her shaking with nerves.

Both of them took a deep breath as the doors swung open to reveal the throne room, people stood either side as they entered, many were crying, but Violet didn't even though who half of them were. However, she defiantly knew the man who stood waiting for her at the end of the long aisle.

Her breathing calmed slightly as they came to the end of the long walk. Jones smiled and gave her a quick hug before leaving to take his seat next to Maria.

''You look amazing,'' Jones complimented Violet causing her to give him a watery smile, she was already crying.

''We are gathered here today to celebrate the love of Violet and Joe. Before I start I must ask if there be any reason why these two should not married, please speak now or forever hold their peace,'' The statement wasn't followed by silent as such, there was a few coughs and sniff, but nobody spoke up.

''Now I believe you too have prepared vowels,'' Both nodded and Joe to his ring from the ring bearer.

''My dearest friend, if you don't mind... I'd like to join you by your side. Where we can gaze into the stars and sit together, now and forever. For it is plain as anyone can see. We're simply meant to be,'' Violet smiled at the words as he slid the ring on her finger.

''I'll live for hundreds of years to come and I'd always choose you, in a hundred lifetimes, in a hundred world, in any version of reality. I's find you and I'd choose you because I love you,'' Violet than shakily pushed Joe's ring onto his finger.

''Violet, Joe I now pronounce you husband and wife, you may kiss the bride,'' There was applause as Violet and Joe kissed.

The couple turned and where about the walk out of the room when the priest shouted, ''I present to you Mr and Mrs Saxon.
