Chapter Four
Henry stood overlooking the kingdom. The villagers were busy going about their daily business and Henry wondered how long it was going to be before his soldiers arrived back with the news about a hero with powers. He never heard of such a thing. All his mind could travel to was the threat of someone's powers getting in the way. While he was worried about something like that, a thought always occurred to him. Hunting him, like an animal hunts its prey. Henry watched from the parapet as his soldiers started traveling back to the castle. His general must have discovered something, they were dragging a woman with red hair toward the castle. A smirk appeared as he realized who the woman was. She was the only witch left alive in this kingdom and from the looks of it; they had her by the chains. Henry walked down the parapet and walked out of his castle to greet his soldiers. The general bowed to him and presented himself with the witch, forcing her in front of him.
"Well, fancy meeting you here." Henry said, smirking at the witch.
"I don't think it's fancy at all." The witch said simply. "I think your general only brought me here because you wanted answers about a boy and his powers. Am I correct?"
"Don't start with me Rowena, you're lucky I even let you remain free," Henry responded. "If I had my way, I would have killed you right off the bat, sent you to either get burned at the stake or have your head chopped off." Rowena rolled her eyes. The chains around her wrist clattered together.
"Never fancied you as someone who cares about their victims." Rowena responded.
"Well, my pretty, I think it's best that we take you to the dungeons," Henry said. "Unless you want to tell me about this powerful individual that you know about?"
"I don't know what you mean, sire." Rowena denied.
"I'm sure you do. I know there are some strangers in town, so I feel you should tell me what I want to know." Rowena remained silent. Henry chuckled and ordered his guards to take her to the dungeons.
"Maybe a little time in the cells would do you good." Henry said and waved his hand, ordering the soldiers to bring her in. Henry smirked as he watched the soldiers take Rowena into the castle and followed behind them. "George,"
"Yes, Sire?" George asked when they were alone.
"Anything on the strangers?"
"Some. I saw them retreating into the forest."
"Well?"
"I saw one of them. The male had a strange symbol on his hand." George explained. "I never seen it anywhere before."
"Do you have any idea what it looked like?" George nodded and walked over to a nearby table with parchment. He took a feathered pen and drew the strange symbol before handing it to the king. Henry took the paper and examined it. When he saw the small symbol, he couldn't understand what it was. "Take it to the scribe. I'm sure he knows exactly what it is." Bowing, George grabbed the paper and walked out of the throne room and walked to the church.

Dean, Kristina, and Ezra ran as fast as they could through the forest, putting as much distance between them and the village as much as they could. Once they were out of view from the village, the group stopped in the middle of the forest. Kristina leaned against the tree, exhausted from all the walking.
"Hold on, I need a break." Kristina said, catching her breath. Ezra and Dean paused so that Kristina could catch her breath.
"Are both of you okay?" Dean asked.
"I'm fine. I just need a breather," Kristina responded. Once Kristina caught her breath, she turned to her nephew. "What did Rowena say?"
"She told me that, if I am to know the truth about my powers, we have to go to the castle." Ezra answered. Dean scoffed, no way were they going to head to the castle, not on his watch. If he knew Rowena, guarantee that Rowena would have influenced his son.
"Whatever is in that castle, we are not going to it." Dean said.
"But dad!" Ezra yelled.
"No! That's out of the question!" Dean exclaimed, Ezra got frustrated since Dean wouldn't let them head to the castle. "Son, I am not going to that castle, whatever she said she's lying."
"Dad, she gave me the answers I needed."
"Rowena isn't someone you should Trust Ezra, she's a witch."
"So?! At least she wanted to help me!"
"Are you saying that I don't want to help?" Dean asked. "Because frankly son, that is a complete lie. Trust nothing Rowena says."
"And how would you know?! Last I checked you never mentioned her to me at all!" Ezra yelled.
"Guys." Kristina said.
"She trapped your uncle in the damn cage with Lucifer!" Dean yelled back. "And she's Crowley's mother! I never mentioned her at all, she's nothing more than a monster who uses you until you aren't useful anymore!" Dean's voice softened. "I kept her hidden from you because I knew what she would do."
"Guys! Please! I hate all this fighting!" Kristina said and approached her brother-in-law and nephew. "Look, what we can do is go to that Castle and see what happens. As for you Dean, knock it off! I understand you don't like Rowena, I don't like her either, but that doesn't mean we don't find out what she means." She continued. "Now that, that is settled, Ezra how do you think we'd find our way to that castle?" Dean could see the hesitant expression on his son's face but before he or Kristina could say anything Ezra flinched and looked at his hand. It was burning. The tattoo glowed a bright amber.
"What the hell?" Dean and Kristina looked away as Ezra stepped back. The light died down, leaving all three confused. When Dean lowered his hand, his eyes landed on the tattoo as a new line appeared.
"Ezra?" Kristina said worriedly. "Why did that tattoo just do that?"
"I don't know, but I think that its supposed to lead us to the castle." Ezra said.
"So you're saying a tiny tattoo can lead us to the castle where the guards were marching to?" Dean questioned. "Because I think that's kind of stupid."
"Well, we won't know unless we try, right?" Ezra asked.
"Ezra, if we get caught by the guards, not only am I going to ground you but I'm certain your mother will have my head." Dean warned. Saying nothing else, the family started their trek through the forest.
