Pre Skate: Interviews and Questions
3rd POV
"And there you have it, folks, four-time gold medalist (F/n) Katsuki has taken the gold again with Sara Crispino taking the silver and Mila Babicheva with the Bronze."
"That's right, Japan's very own Ice Queen has been giving her Ice skating career her top priority. Even her coach seems to be proud that his skaters are winning gold and silver."
"Indeed he is, sadly announcing his retirement to us this year but seeing that he's coaching both Yuuri Katsuki and (F/n) Katsuki while he was skating. It just shows how much he cares about his skaters."
"Rumors has he's taken Yuri Plisetsky as a student of his as well?"
"Indeed it true a lot of talk about that Plisetsky will be training with Nikiforov starting next year. I'm sure that both Plisetsky and the Katsuki siblings will have a much more expectation this year."
As the ceremony started to come to a close everyone seem to want to know the thoughts of (F/n) Katsuki also known as Ice Queen. As they sat near the table where a lot of people have been waiting to ask the three medalists of this year's Grand Prix. One by one each one asked them questions about next year's programs or what they were planning to do after today. Since they weren't sure about next year's theme they just smiled and replied to them as honestly as they could without giving too much information.
"I have a question for miss Katsuki, are you and Plisetsky considering getting married soon?" One of the reporters asked as everyone was curious about that as well.
"As of right now both Yuri and I consider our skating to be our top priority. Since we tend to focus on skating or finding ways to improve our skating, the topic of marriage has never come up in our conversations." (F/n) replied calmly and respectfully.
"Does he plan to propose to you after he wins gold?" A reporter asked as she blushed.
'Um, what does this have to do with skating?' She thought as she clear her throat to try to keep a calm expression.
"Unfortunately I can't answer that, the only way for you guys to know is if you ask him." She said as she try to change the topic.
"Miss Katsuki with Viktor retirement now announced, does he plan to marry your brother now?" One of the reporters asked as she sigh.
"Again I cannot answer that, the only to find out is you ask Viktor instead of me. Do we have any other questions that don't involve me knowing what Yuri Plisetsky and Viktor Nikiforov might be up to?" She asked seeing that she was starting to get annoyed with the reporter's questions.
"Yes, miss Katsuki, you'll be finishing up high school soon. Do you have plans for what you'll be studying for college?" He asked as she thought about it.
"At the current moment I haven't decided yet," she said as they started asking questions to the other skaters making her glad that she's not being asked any more questions.
"Everyone the interview time is now over please understand that our skaters are tired after competing." One of the staff members began to lead them to the side and away from the reporters. Once they were away they began to sigh and relax again.
"Seriously why are they so interested in Yuri and Viktor even if they're not skating today?" Mila said as placed her arm on (F/n) shoulder.
"Yeah, it's not fair that they get the spotlight when it was the three of us who won," Sara said as she hugged (F/n).
"I guess seeing that me and Yuri are dating they wanted more personal information. Plus Viktor being our coach people want to know more about him."
"Still to go and ask when you'll get married is not fair! We made a promise between the three of us that whoever got engaged first, the first people to know is us." Sara said as (F/n) smiled and patted her head.
"Even so I'll bug Yuri to know when he'll pop the big question too." Mila teased as Sara wanted to be involved too.
"Come on Yuri is Russia's Fairy or what he likes to be called as the Ice Tiger, he probably has a lot more important things than asking me to marry him." She said as she grab the necklace that Yuri gave her.
"True but knowing him he put you as someone he could trust in, just like the bond with grandfather. Even if you guys decide not to be together I think he just wants you to be happy. Why else would he have to put up with Viktor teasing him?" Mila said as she couldn't help but laugh a bit.
"Yeah, and I want him to be happy too even if I'm not the one to make him happy, as long as he is happy then I can be happy too."
"If ever breaks up with you, I'll make sure his retirement comes a bit early," Mila said as she grip her hand.
'Mila can sure be terrifying when she's angry,' both Sara and (F/n) thought as they reach the locker room to grab their things and head to the hotel.
"Hey since the guys are competing tomorrow, why don't we have a sleepover tonight?" Sara suggested as Mila liked the idea of a girl's night.
"Yeah sound like fun."
"Sure I have to do something real quick so I'll meet up with you guys," (F/n) said as she place her bag on her shoulder.
"Okay we'll be at my room," Sara said as she nodded.
"Alright," she said but before she could leave Mila yelled out to her.
"Say hi to Yuri for us!" Mila yelled as (F/n) blushed seeing that she knew where she was going and kept walking.
Yuri POV
As I waited for my little mouse in my room, Viktor came in saying he wanted to talk about something with me. So here we are in my hotel room telling to Viktor about something that I don't know what is about.
"Yurio since I'll be helping you for next season, we need to discuss your goal for this season," he said as I groan.
"My goal is to win gold," I said with hesitation.
"I knew you would say that, but why do you want to win gold?" He asked as I was about to say why but I couldn't figure out why either.
"To win gold, it's not why you want gold but for who you want to win gold for, take for example of your girlfriend. She's won gold for the past four years, why would she want to keep getting gold?" He asked as I try to figure out why but in truth, I didn't know.
"For this upcoming season I want you to find out why you want to win gold," Viktor said as I was about to ask him something but someone knocked on my door. I got up and open the door to find little mouse with a blushing face.
"Oh (F/n) I guess you want to talk to Yurio, right?" Viktor asked as she nodded.
"Well I'll leave you two love birds alone, try not to go overboard," he said as we blushed.
"Viktor!" We yelled as he laugh and left my room. As she came in I close my door and made my way inside.
"So Yuri tomorrow's your free program and I know you want to get proper rest so I came here to give this to you," she had a small bag for me and I was surprised that she got something for me.
"Come on little mouse you know you don't have to give me gifts," I said as I grab the bag.
"I know but I wanted to give you this," she said as she blush as I open the gift. I open my gift and see a tiger pendant.
"This is... babe how did you," I was speechless that she gave me a tiger pendant.
"Now you can show the world that you are not Russia's Fairy but Russia's Ice Tiger." I smiled and place her gift on the table.
"What's wrong Yuri?" She seems worried but I pull her in to kiss her. I could feel her relax and kiss me back making me hug her tighter. When we pulled away I lean in to kiss her forehead and smiled.
(This is what I imagined.)
"I love it, thank you," she smiled and kiss my cheek.
"I should go, Mila and Sara wanted to have a sleepover tonight." I smiled and hugged her tightly.
"Try not to have too much fun without me," she giggled as we pulled away I grab my room key and made our way to her room. We held hands while walking to her room so she could change to meet up with Mila and her friend. Since I didn't want her to go alone I would take her there to make sure she was safe. While I waited outside her door I couldn't help but smile seeing that I know what my reason for gold is.
'The reason I want the gold medal is to just be able to show how much I love her through my skating.'
