Back at the Jade Palace, everyone was at the library.

Shifu- ( Tries to think ) Kai... Kai...Kai... Nope. Never heard of him.

Everyone watches as he looks through the scrolls for answers.

Shifu- Kai. Kai. Where is it ? There's so much wisdom in here , I can't find anything.

Akemi-( Crosses her arms ) No offense , Shifu , but you can be full of wisdom when you want to be.

Shifu glares in a reprimanding manner before he continues to rummage until he spotted and grabbed a jade scroll.

Shifu- Yes. Behold... All the answers will be found within.

Shifu opens the scroll , but it turns out ...

Shifu- What ? It's blank ?! Are you kidding me ?!

Akemi , Crane , Tigress , and Monkey facepalm .

Akemi- Great. What's with you guys keeping empty and blank scrolls here ?

Shifu- ( Notices the paper ) Wait , wait. Hold on. Sorry. Oh , okay. Here we go . It is written in Oogway's hand.

Li and Ping appear and listen behind them.

Shifu- " Long ago , I had a brother...

Monkey- ( Surprisingly and curiously ) Oogway had a brother ?

Shifu- " In arms". In arms. Sorry. He says brother in arms.

Akemi- ( Surprised and calmly ) Really. So that Kai person must be a brother figure to him.

Shifu- Indeed.

Mantis- Can you just untoll it all at once ?

Shifu refuses to do so and continues to read.

Shifu- " I was an ambitious , young warrior... Leading a great army. And fighting by my side was Kai. My closest friend. One day , we were ambushed. I was badly wounded. My friend carried me for days... Looking for help. Until we came to a secret panda village , high in the mountains. An ancient place of healing. A village of pandas--"

Akemi- ( Faces Ping ) Looks like Li wasn't lying after all

Po- Pandas ?

Shifu- Yes , pandas. " Pandas who used the power of chi to heal me. But Kai wanted the power all to himself. He saw what could be given could also be taken. I had to stop him. Our battle shook the Earth. Until , finally , I banished Kai to the spirit realm. Should he ever return to the mortal realm , he can only be stopped... By a true master of chi and the true mythical descendant of the legendary kitsune.

Akemi was in awe at the whole story she just heard.

Akemi- ( Softly ) Wow...

Po- A true master of chi... ( Points at Shifu ) Like you !

Shifu- Me ? I can barely make a flower bloom . I'd need at least 30 more years , and a cave.

Akemi- ( Incredulously ) Now , why do you meet another cave for ?

Shifu- ( Sheepishly ) For a 30 year training ?

Akemi facepalms again at the red panda.

Viper- We need a chi master .

Crane- And at least a person who's closely affiliated with Master Kitsune.

Shifu- He will continue to steal chi of the masters until he's consumed it all.

Akemi then notices Po sneaking away from them as she glowers at him , expressionless before he and she took notice of the ancient pandas on the scroll that could teach them chi.

Viper- We have to make a way to stop him.

Crane- Or he'll get more and more powerful with every masters he defeats.

Tigress- There is no choice. We fight.

Akemi- I'm with you on that one , Tigress.

Tigress smirks down at her vixen friend , who smirks back and then Li steps up.

Li- I can teach you , son.

Mr. Ping gasps.

Po- You can do this ?

Li- Well , of course. I'm a panda. That must be why the universe sent you here ! Ok , so , what do I have to do ?

Li- You have to come with me.

Ping and Akemi become shocked at the suggestion.

Both- What ?!

Po- To the secret village ?

Li- Yes , son. You must rediscover what it is to be a panda. You will learn how to live like a panda. Sleep like a panda. Eat like a panda. Those 103 dumplings ? Hmph.... I was just warming up.

Po- I've always felt like I wasn't eating up to my full potential.

Ping- You can't take one of my children away from me ! No , no ! I want a second opinion . Shifu , open another scroll or something.

Shifu- I think he should go.

Ping- Fine. A third opinion . Monkey ? Viper ? Tigress ? Akemi ?

Akemi looks away.

Po- Dad , you heard what Shifu said Oogway said. This guy can only be stopped by a master of chi and the descendant or a person affiliated with Kitsune. I can only master chi by knowing who I really am. Well... I'm a panda.

Then Akemi smiles and steps up confidently .

Akemi- And I'm just a three tailed fox. Count me in , Po.

Everyone looks at her , worried and surprised. Ping quickly and frantically waddles up to his children

Ping- Oh , no ! No way ! I won't allow it ! It's scary enough I'm letting my son go and now I can't let my daughter be in danger ! I forbid it !

Akemi- That wasn't a request , Dad. Po and I have been siblings for years now and I am NOT backing out on one fight where he needs me the most .

Ping stares , flabbergasted as his bill gapes ; But he snaps out of it and tries to stutter out a reason why she can't go but after countless seconds of doing so , the father goose heaves a heavy sigh of defeat , realizing there's nothing he can do to stop his adoptive daughter

Ping- ( Sadly ) I'll pack your lunches for the road.

Ping starts to walk towards the library doors. Then a concerned Crane walks to Akemi's side.

Crane- Are you sure you want to do this , Akemi ? I don't want you getting hurt.

Appreciating his concern , Akemi responds with a same warm and reassuring smile which he yearns so much whenever he feels so anxious. The red fox even places her paw on his right wing , making him freeze in place.

Akemi- Don't worry . I'll be fine. Trust me , Crane. We always make it out of difficult quests alive and well. Just don't... ( Jokingly ) Go crying when I leave !

Akemi and Crane share an amused laugh at her jokey remark . Once their laughter dies down , they stare deeply into each other's eyes before Akemi breaks her gaze as she turns to leave with Ping..
