Meanwhile , Crane flies across the desert as Mantis rests on the top of his hat.

Crane- Wings of surveillance !

Mantis- Why do you do that ?

Crane- Do what ?

Mantis- Just because you say wings of- before something , it doesn't mean that you're doing a special move. It's like me saying Antenna of Power...Thorax of making sandwiches !

Crane- Wings of Disagreement.

Mantis- Whoa , there.

Mantis points down at an abamdoned ship with a broken hull rests in the distance. Approaching it , there are 3 moving objects , creating a large dust trail behind them as they go before Crane descends to get a closer look. He looks at the trio to see..

Crane- Master Bear , Master Chicken , Master Croc ! What're you doing out here ?

Chicken- Jade creatures attacked our villages. We've tracked them here !

Bear- Stop ! ( Everyone stops ) They must be in there.

Crane- Master Shifu strongly advised us--

Bear and Croc suddenly charged intot the ship.

Crane- ( Deadpanned ) Not to engage.

Mantis- Gotta get in there.

Crane- But Master Shifu said--

Mantis- You're seriously afraid ? Even Master Chicken's going in there ! And he's a chicken !

Chicken charges in as he clucks. Not even a minute longer , the duo see three flashing green lights. Chicken's cry is even heard last. Bit Mantis wasn't fazed , but tempted to fight.

Mantis- That's it. I'm going in.

Crane- Mantis , we have orders not to--

Mantis- They need our help . Come on . I'll go high , you'll go low.

With that "planned out" , Mantis oafishly charges into the ship , despite Shifu's direct orders.

Crane- ( Whispers ) No , wait !

Mantis- Fear the bug ! Alright , you little... Uh oh.

Suddenly , another burst of green light shines throughout the ship. Anxious , Crane takes the bait and follows in as well.

Crane- Hold on , buddy. I'm coming !

Mantis- Antenna of Power ! Oh , that didn't work !

Then another green light glows again and Crane rushes in and looks around for Mantis.

Crane- Mantis ! Mantis ? ( Whispers ) Mantis ?

Then a huge gray yak , supposedly Kai , appears from the shadows , looming over the poor bird. Crane turns around and gasps in fright but he meekly pulls his hat down by the brim and whistles . before he attempts to escape but Kai pins him down but Crane quickly fights back before they separate from each other.

Kai- Your chi is strong. Just like your friend...

Kai takes out and shows a jade soul pendant of Mantis.

Kai-... The bug.

Crane- Mantis !

Crane charges but Kai sends him back with a chi blast , knocking his hat off in the process as Kai approaches him.

Kai- Don't worry , little birdie. I'll put your chi to good use. Destroying the Jade Palace and everyone in it.

The wide eyed Crane backs away , shaking in fear as he didn't break eye contact with the soul collecting yak.

Kai- And maybe , I'll use your little fox friend too. ( Smirks darkly ) Once I'm done with her.

Horrified of what he heard, Crane snaps out of his frozen state. There was no way he's going to let him have his way with Akemi .

Crane- No !

He kicks a keg to Kai's head to distract him as he attenpts to fly away but Kai's chains bound him on time as he was being pulled down from the air.

Crane- Wings of.... Regret !

Kai laughs menacingly as he prepares to turn Crane into a jade pendant like the other masters he's captured.
