Once I finish editing, and press the upload button Conor keeps begging for me to go and snuggle in bed with home watching the notebook... No chance. "Pwease, I'm just a wittle Conor that needs love." He said, in a lisp voice. "Yeah, I'm not gonna be a fucking cougar." I said, making him burst out laughing. "But I'm four years older than you you know." He said, "I do know. Just imagine you and Zoe, she's 27 nearly 28." I say, him nodding. "What do you want to do?" I ask, "Snuggle in bed, watching the notebook." He said, "I'd rather kill you and watch the exorcist." I say, "I'm scared of those films though." He said.

"Yeah, anything else you want to do?" I ask, still looking through my phone randomly. "Bake cookies?" He said, "Sure." I say, then mumble. "Anything better than a film that makes me cry." Haha, not funny. I then get the flour and sugar out. Conor gets the vanilla extract and eggs. Then I get the last of the stuff like baking soda, salt, chocolate chips and chopped walnuts. "Okay, how'd you do this?" He asks confused obviously. "Right. You can..... Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit." I tell him, while collecting the tools.

I measure everything out and out the extra stuff away again, I start off by mixing the butter, white sugar, and the brown sugar until it looks smooth enough. "Wait, I want to do it as well!" Conor, literally begged. "Right you keep stirring while I add the eggs. I crack one egg in flawlessly, and the other egg averagely. Then he kept stirring until it was all nicely mixed in. Then I dissolved the baking soda in some water from the kettle.

Once I done that I added that in along with some salt. "Why'd you need salt in it?" Conor asked, confused and still stirring. "I dunno, it balances it out?" I tell him confused. Then I take over stirring in the flour, chocolate chips and walnuts in. Then I got the silicone tray I bought a while back and blobbed small blobs evenly across the tray leaving big spaces. "How long are they gonna take?" Conor asks, "10 minutes." I say, putting them into the preheated oven. Then I set the time for 10 minutes.

I took a selfie with Conor and uploaded it to Twitter and Instagram with the caption baking cookies with this one @conormaynard . In ten seconds Conor retweeted and liked it, then Zoe and Alfie. They only liked it, Anna from the SacconeJolys likes it and commented.   You are too cute! We are having a baby girl soon as well! That comment made me smile, then the timer went off and Conor rushed to the kitchen.
