Y/N POV

"Well, looks like this won't be a waste of time after all. Hey jackass! Didn't your mother ever teach you it's not nice to steal?" 

I looked up and sure enough, Nero stood at the entrance to the large room. Again, it seems V was right. His previously demonic arm was now missing and I knew that was the reason behind his previous line.

Even with the source of his abilities clearly gone, Nero still drew his Red Queen sword, saying "Sorry you two, I'm bagging this bitch!" He stabbed the blade into the ground and gave it a rev causing a faint roar to emanate from it.

I was able to get out "Nero, run, you're no match for him." It was true, before, I thought we'd have had a good chance against Urizen, but after me, Dante, Lady and Trish couldn't make a single dent in him which made me significantly doubt our chances. And if we couldn't defeat him, then in his current state, Nero DEFINITELY couldn't.

Nero ignored my warning though and instantly rushed forward, he aimed his revolver-like handgun and fired several shots, all the while he continued to rev up his blade until it was glowing red.

That crystal blocked the gunfire of course as Nero leapt upwards and tried to strike at Urizen who at this point didn't look remotely interested. As Nero brought the sword down, full-strength, the crystal was STILL able to block it without so much as a scratch!

Even after that Nero continued to swing at it, but with no success. Even fully charged, his blade was unable to break through that crystal and without his demon arm, there wasn't much else he could do.

Urizen eventually grew tired of the inevitably pointless effort and lashed out with those tentacles again however Nero leapt up evading two of them only to be hit in the stomach by two more. He was launched back and hit the ground.

A purple beam was shot out by Urizen in an attempt to wipe Nero out however he sprung up and was able to roll out of the way before firing two more rounds from his gun that of course did nothing.

With his blade at the ready he attempted to attack once again however Urizen fired a series of  of shots upwards that then turned around and rained down. Nero evaded that one as well however in the end, his luck still ran out.

As quickly as the fight began, it ended. As Nero was in mid-dodge from that last attack, Urizen fired a large red ball of energy that hit Nero head-on and sent him flying before he hit the ground once again near me and Dante.

Even with that beating laid on him, Nero still tried to get up once again, but with no more success than me. It was also now that V finally showed up again with his Griffon familiar that screamed "This is it, this is the end! It's all over!"

V just looked at everything that had happened in the room with shock. Urizen raised his hand towards Nero and another ball of red energy built up in his palm. Me and Dante also finally found the energy to return to our feet. Ebony, Ivory and Cinder in our respective hands.

In that brief second where Urizen was completely distracted, we opened fire, shooting multiple rounds that actually HIT! Unfortunately, it wasn't enough to leave any sort of actual damage, just draw his attention away from Nero.

We kept our guns trained on him as Dante commented "Round two!" Nero was about to get up but he wasn't quite ready yet. Me and Dante both entered our Devil Triggers and dashed forward. 

Urizen simply raised our hand and didn't even need the crystal. There was some sort of powerful energy-like invisible barrier that Rebellion and Eclipse were both colliding with, sparks began flying all over the place from said clash as well as energy ripples streaming from it.

Dante looked back and yelled "V, get Nero out of here! This was a bad move!" Nero wasn't swayed, he got back to his feet and retorted "I can still fight." I added "Forget that! Get away while you still can!" Dante added "Nero go! You're just dead weight!"

Even with that, Nero just snapped "Back off!" He was about to step closer however a pile of rocks fell from above and blocked their path, preventing him from getting near us but also preventing any of us in here from leaving.

V began trying to persuade Nero to leave however my focus remained purely on the clash with Urizen, I had no idea how longer me and Dante could hold on but escape was no longer an option now. We kept pushing when suddenly Urizen closed his fist.

He then abruptly punched out, hitting both of us with one fist. For a moment, everything went into a daze as we were flung backwards, I glanced at Dante to see that Rebellion had been snapped in two! Eclipse wasn't as badly damaged however the blow had bypassed it meaning I'd still felt the full-force.

Our Devil Triggers wore off as we both hit the ground. By this point, we'd taken too much of a beating to get up as Urizen sent out some more tentacles. He'd seemed to have forgotten about me at the moment as the tentacles completely enveloped Dante, I was powerless to help.

I could hear Urizen saying "This, is power!" As the vine-like tentacles enveloped Dante completely. Luckily, in this moment Trish was just about able to wake up, seeing the state Dante was in, she threw Sparda towards him.

He caught the blade and swiftly entered Devil Trigger once more, cutting through the tentacles with ease as Trish passed out yet again, I was close to doing so myself however I was just about to hold on.

It all happened so fast, in an instant Dante rushed forward with Sparda in hand, however Urizen just raised his own hand and the next thing I knew, a powerful shockwave sent Dante flying, out of the chamber and completely out of sight!

I stared wide eyed at where Dante had been flung out of as Urizen stated "The sword Sparda no longer serves a purpose." I turned to face him only to see three clusters of tentacles heading towards me, Lady and Trish respectively as he added "I have plans for the three of you."

At this my eyes snapped open in rage as I yelled "Like hell you do!" I entered Devil Trigger and raced forward one last time. I had no idea what I was doing but I WOULDN'T be some puppet for him to play around with.

And that's when Urizen did something strange, instead of using that crystal or just blasting me away like he did Dante, he instead caught Eclipse by the BLADE! He somehow didn't cut himself on it yet I found I couldn't withdraw from his grasp.

Urizen then began speaking, his words sending a chill down my spine. "Eclipse, one of many swords used by Sparda. And yet, unlike his other arms, he had it hidden away so that it would never fall into the wrong hands. And do you know why?"

I continued to try and pull Eclipse from his clutches as he kept speaking "Eclipse was a rather unique blade, as it seemed to posses the ability to completely vanquish a demon's spirit. The very life essence of the vanquished would be sealed within the blade itself!"

He paused for a moment, his glowing eyes stared directly into my own as he then said "But Eclipse had another side to itself. The blade seemed to possess a personality of its own and the more demons fell to the blade, the more that personality would imprint of the wielder. Have you ever felt any differences to yourself in recent times?"

My eyes widened at what he said, I thought back five years ago, in Fortuna. When I'd slain Agnus and I lost control of myself, attacking Dante. The more I thought of it, I remembered those incidents, first King, then there was Arius, then finally both Echidna and Agnus! All of them must have fallen victim to whatever Eclipse's 'power' was.

Urizen wasn't done though "Once Sparda had realized what Eclipse was doing to him, he had it hidden away. With the only human he trusted aside from his own wife."  I muttered "My mother..." 

Urizen didn't acknowledge my statement as he said "I was right when I said the blade possessed power, unfortunately, I have no need for the corrupting power that this sword gives. It seems that since you have been feeding it, it chose to imprint on you. Now, it is finally time to see what that power looks like."

Out of no where, several more tentacles appeared, two wrapped around my wrists and two around my ankles, lifting me off the ground in the process. Eclipse remained in Urizen's hand for a moment as he calmly said "Now..."

In an instant, he clenched his fist around the blade, I heard it puncture his skin as blood trickled down it slowly and dripped onto the floor, forming a puddle. I yelled "Enough of this!" However Urizen ignored me.

Instead, he summoned another tentacle which wrapped around the hilt of Eclipse, Urizen let go as the blade was lifted up so that it was pointed directly at my chest! Before I could protest, the tentacle thrust it forward directly into my chest!

I let out a gasp as I felt the sword stab right through my torso! My eyes went wide as my blood leaked from the wound and much like with Urizen along with my other adversaries who I'd learned had fallen victim to this weapon, the blood flowed down the blade before slowly dripping off. However that was nothing compared to what happened next.

As you possibly expected, purple electricity began building up. However this time it had a completely different reaction. The electricity completely covered me, causing me to fall into excruciating agony.

The tentacles withdrew, causing me to collapse to the ground as the electricity continued to consume me. I pulled Eclipse from my body and held it in my hand, soon the surge of energy faded, however that was only the first stage.

I began feeling a more aching pain, I looked at my hand and my eyes widened in horror as my left hand looked demonic in nature. The same was for my right, my teeth became more pointed and my eyes changed colour. I asked in a shocked and scared voice "W-what have you done t-to me?"

There was a sudden second surge of energy, much like when I'd turn into my Devil Trigger, however this time there was a flash in my vision, as if I'd blacked out for a split second. As soon as my senses came back I fell onto my knees. 

I felt much different, my body felt unlike anything I'd felt before. This power, it was overwhelming. I felt like I had actual WINGS that I flapped briefly before looking at my hand. A low chuckle escaped my mouth.

Standing upright, this chuckle evolved into full on crazed, sadistic, insane laughter. My tail swiped about as my wings continued flapping. My mind felt different as well, I felt a strength, skill and power unlike anything I'd deemed possible. I felt BORN ANEW!

I turned to Urizen and in a moment that was unlike anything I'd done have done before, I knelt down before him...

Author's Note: And that's it for this chapter, like I said, I have been very anxious to get this one up because of the ending. Originally I was simply going to have Y/N be encased inside a demon like Lady and Trish however I felt that that would be underwhelming. Normally I'd have had no problems doing an idea like this but because of an incident with another book, I felt like I'd test the waters a bit. Also this ISN'T an O/C, it's still Y/N, however he has the mindset and memory of Eclipse as well as his own memories. I've been setting this up for ages and I intend for this to lead into explaining Y/N's backstory as well as him getting his Sin Devil Trigger. Next will be a summary for this new form.
