??? POV

I stood at the top of the Temen-Ni-Gru, staring down at the desecrated city below. I could sense what was going on within the tower and there was one unintentional anomaly. I looked up slowly and stated "We have an uninvited guest."

Arkham didn't even look up from his book as he asked "Is that so?" However when I responded by saying "A human, a woman. Y/N has already encountered her." He slowly closed the book before looking up himself and sternly saying "I'm afraid I should ask the uninvited one to leave."

He stood up and asked "That is what you want?" He then added "Actually, I happen to be acquainted with that woman." He turned and walked away and as he left I heard him utter "A storm is approaching."

I gave a sideways glance towards him before turning back to what I was doing before. All I needed was the blood of my brothers for the seal to be broken.

Y/N POV

My encounter and battle with that strange woman lingered on my mind. It was obvious from her heterochromatic eyes, she had some sort of ties to Arkham and judging from her reaction when I mentioned this to her, whatever history they shared wasn't pleasant.

Nevertheless, I pressed on deeper into the tower. I climbed up a flight of stairs which spiralled around the tall room. Eventually, I reached one door in particular which I decided to enter. This lead me into a corridor with a slightly less steep staircase going upwards in the other direction. 

I began to climb however I was suddenly ambushed by yet another demon. This one was once again, different from any other Demons I had encountered up to this point. These ones seemed to carrying a large metal coffin that generated a sand-like substance that actually FORMED the previous lesser demons I found earlier.

Due to the ever-increasing number of demons and the tight space I had to fight them. I growled angrily to myself before swiftly grabbing Eclipse and pulling it from it's sheath. With that, I dashed forward.

I instantly stabbed the demon with the coffin, directly in the chest, before making an upward slashing motion and effectively slashing it in half. I then spun around and stabbed one of the lesser demons in the face. Both of them disintegrated upon death. 

I quickly leapt up and pulled out Cinder, shooting another one multiple times before slashing downward with Eclipse. I then knocked one of them back with the hilt of Eclipse before cutting that one down as well.

Now that all of them were dead, I once again made my way back up the stairs and found myself at another door. Going through that one lead me to a large open room with more demons who weren't any trouble.

However the real problem came when I tried exiting through another door however I found it sealed shut. That's when I heard an annoying voice behind me exclaiming "Yoo-hoo! Over here!"

Turning around, I was met with a strange figure wearing a purple jester's attire. I instantly pointed Eclipse at him and snapped "Who the hell are you?!" The mysterious being responded with a theatrical bow. "My name is Jester. And you'd do well to listen to what I have to say."

I glared at this 'Jester' before lowering Eclipse and saying "Then speak. What do you want?" Jester began explaining, maintaining his annoying voice. "This tower is very unique. A lot of doors only open when a specific puzzle is accomplished."

He approached the door and hit his cane on it lightly "This specific door is linked to a crank right over there." He pointed to a crank on the other side of the room. I approached it and stared at three holes that were located within it. An item must fit in there, but what item.

Suddenly I heard a shriek and spun around to see Jester standing behind me, a trident in his hands. I dodged as he tried to stab at me only for the trident to fit perfectly into the crank. The door opened causing me to have wide eyes.

Jester laughed and exclaimed "Ta da! See?! Sometimes things just need a little extra thought!" I turned to face him however in an instant, he was gone. I have no idea where he went. Regardless, I ignored this strange encounter and went through the door that was now open.

I walked through it and heard the door instantly slam behind me followed by Jester's obnoxious laugh. Suddenly several creatures appeared, unlike any of the other demons. These ones looked like they were shaped like gargoyles however they were also seemingly made up purely of blood!

It was at this point I realized Jester must have baited me into a trap. Regardless of this, I pulled out Eclipse and readied for battle.

These creatures were tougher than the others. The fact that their bodies were made up of blood made it unclear if my slashes or shots were actually doing any damage. However eventually I received my answer when they entered a stone-like state.

From here it was easy to shatter each of the creatures one by one. After that, I just turned a blind-eye to them. Things seemed to be getting stranger and stranger. First there was that woman and now this 'Jester'.

I eventually found another door in this room and continued on with my expedition. I just hope I finally received answers soon...
