The light was blinding. I try to open my eyes, but they were glued shut. I finally manage to open them. I squint, as my eyes adjust to the light. I get them all the way open. There were nurses everywhere. I look around, still nurses. Sheesh, what happened.

Many nurses exit at then and in comes a man with silver hair, my brother. He sits down next to me.

"How are you feeling?" He asks.

"Mmmm," I think, "Tired." He laughs at that. I smile in responce.

"How long was I out?" I ask.

He sighs. "About a year." My eyes widen. A year! I was in a coma for a whole year!

"'Doctors said you could be up on your feet by tomorrow. How 'bout that?"

"Yay." I say, too tired to yell or shoot my arms in the air like a maniac.

"Right now you should get some rest." He suggests. I nod in responce. He stands up and kisses my forehead before leaving.

I was so nervous to get out there and finally meet the Avengers, or half of them. Pietro helps me up, since my legs were feeling sore.

"Remember, they are your friends now, not your enemies." I nod. Pietro walks up and hold the door open.

So many people were there. Captain America, Falcon, Black Widow, Thor, The Vision, Bucky, and even the girl in red (also known as my sister.) Cap and Bucky come over first.

"Welcome back, Anya." He says.

"Thank you." I say smiling. Bucky gives me a joking glare and I give him the same glare back.

"We're gonna get something to eat, if you wanna come with us." Steve offers.

"No thank you." I say politely denying his offer. He nods and walks away. Up next came Black Widow and Falcon.

"I'm so sorry for what happened last year." Black Widow says.

"It's fine." I say with a smile.

"By the way, I'm Natasha." She says.

"Nice to meet you, again." I say with a little laugh. She smiles at that. Natasha looks behind her and makes room.

Then came my sister with someone behind her. I don't say anything.

"Listen," she starts, "I'm so sorry for anything I've ever done to you. I'm sorry for everything, I-" I cut her off with a hug, she returns it. I savored that hug with my life. I finally let go. I could see tears down her cheeks. I smile.

"You don't have to say sorry." I say. And for once, i finally got to see her smile. She looks behind her and looks back, a little worried.

"Pietro," she says "Did you see where Vis went?"

The sentence plays in my head over and over again, but mainly just for the word 'Vis'. It sounds so familiar. A memory finally comes back.

The man grabs me by my throat, choking me. "Let me go!" He doesn't.

"Let her go." Wanda says, a red ball forming in her hands.

He doesn't let me go. I could feel myself running out of oxygen. I gasped for oxygen, but nothing was coming in nor out.

"Let her go!" She repeats . "Vis! Let her go!"

That was him, the man who put me in a coma. The man who almost killed me.

I snap back to reality.

"I'm pretty sure he went to get a drink." Pietro responds. Wanda nods. I then see from the corner of my eye, Pietro looking at me with a worried face.

"Anya?" He asks. "You ok?"

"Ya, ya, I just need some air." I respond, not so honest. He nods and helps me walk to the balcony.

"You sure your ok?" He asks.

"To be honest, I don't know." I say.

"What's wrong?" He asks again.

"I remembered something from before the coma."

"What is it?"

"Vis." I say, looking up at him. "That's all. That and Wanda trying to save me."

He let's out a sharp breath. He was about to say something when there was a huge gunshot from the other side of the Tower. Pietro leads me out of the deck and behind the couch. I sit down behind the couch, as Pietro looks at what was going on.

"Stay here." He says, and off he goes. I get my powers ready, just in case an enemy approaches.

I here footsteps from the other side of the couch. They must have heard me, because they started shooting above me. I put my hands above the couch and fire my powers at who it was. I look above the couch and see one of the HYDRA agents on the ground. Many more come in. I fire my sonic waves at them and they go flying. I then see more agents coming in from all around me. I use all my strength to shoot a sonic boom all around me. I fall to the ground, the wave taking all the energy out of me. I pass out.
