This was it, I was going to die.
My mom cried in the corner, but I just stood there, frozen. I wasn't quite sure how to take the news, when would I die, would anyone care that I was gone? I needed to tell someone.
I took out my phone and called my best friend.

"Katelyn?"

"Aphmau, I'm in the middle of a volleyball tournament, is this an emergency?"

"Yes Katelyn, this can't wait....."

"Okay, hold on...." I heard her shout a bit and pick back up.
"What's up?"

"Katelyn......" I felt a tear trickle down my cheek.

"Aphmau, is something wrong?!"

"The results, of my test, I got them back........"
Silence.
"Katelyn, it's killing me, I got the virus, I'm going to die........"
I heard a thud on the other end, she had dropped her phone in terror and disbelief.

"Aphmau........ Please, say it's a joke, it's just a prank bro..... Right?"

"No....... I have to leave now..... Goodbye....."
She was about to say something, but I hung up before I could tell what it was, at this point it didn't matter. Nothing mattered.
I was leaving in the morning, they transferring me to a far away city. I would die surrounded by strangers. No one who cared about me wouldn't be able to mourn me, why would the government tell them when I died? They didn't have a reason, I was just a nuisance.
What was the point anymore? Oh wait, there wasn't one.
All I knew was that nobody would ever love me again. I was going to have to leave Katelyn, Zane, Garroth, Laurence, Kawaii~Chan, and everyone else. My life was ending.
I couldn't move, my mom was still sobbing over that fact the there was nothing she could do.
It was almost as if I was already dead.
