"You can come too!" said Eclipse. "You know the way out! So get out! Go to where you found me and locate a castle named Camelot. There is king Sonic. Tell him Eclipse is sending you. He will take care of you."

"What!" he barked. "You think we will trust you?! You are fugitive!!"

"Or you can stay and live in a fear! Your own lord is killing herm's first born children to break their wills so they won't turn against him!"

The Cyzer and Cregal were utterly shocked. "That's a lie!" cried the spiky one.

"No! It's the truth!" Blurk moved in front of them. "Lord said it! I hear it and... and he wanted from me to kill Eclipse's unborn child!" He was shaking and tears were in his eyes.

Cregal swallowed a sour pill.

"Just go!" said Eclipse, holding Rhygenta's hand, he wanted to move her to the siblings, when he felt she has been snatched. Her scream shocked them as the soldier, that was stopped by Blurk, moved, slamming her into the wall.

"Stop! Stop!" yelled Blurk, but the soldier was moving toward them. "It's not listening!" They backed down in a fear.

"Master!" shouted Cyzer once he glimpsed him behind the soldier. "Your soldier stopped listening to us! It hurt sis! What's happening?!" he cried.

Black Death was floating next to small body lying in a blood. He still heard an echo of his lord's order: "Kill them and capture the herm!" He clenched his fists.

[** Mephiles' location – some time ago **]

Black Doom was laughing. "Crystallian... how rare. I thought you went extinct!"

Mephiles waved his ax, but he knew it's pointless. He was at the end of his strength. He was only stalling for time, so Eclipse could escape. Doom was luring him farther and farther to the core. The light from the walls was slowly disappearing.

"I wonder..." he stopped floating in the air. "How many years it is since I killed one of you?" He squinted. "I kinda have a feeling that one had your quills."

Mephiles clenched his ax. "You bastard...!" he roared attacking him.

"Was it your parent?" he avoided the attack and burrowed his punch in Mephiles' stomach. The dark knight hit the wall and curled up, holding his stomach. "Don't worry. I won't kill you. I'll keep you alive," he slowly got closer. Mephiles was muffling his voice, preventing any scream from escaping his lips. "I'll fertilize you and create a new generation! It will be stronger and better."

Mephiles felt a pang in his heart. He said something similar to Eclipse once, in a hope to lure him to his side. He felt like throwing up, but it actually may have been a different urge. Black Doom turned slightly away, putting a finger on his temple. He just got a transmission from one soldier showing him the fugitive and four other Darklings. They were discussing their plan to escape him. He became furious, contacting his right arm: "Black Death!"

His henchmen jerked as the call was quite strong. "Y-Yes, my lord?"

"Find the fugitive and capture him! Kill the Darklings around him!"

Before Black Death could ask details, the connection was terminated. He took a deep breath, heading to the location his master gave him.

Black Doom looked around, slightly calming down. The traitors will be killed and the runaway Darkling will be broken. "So... you ran away..." Mephiles was gone. "But not for long," he sent his soldiers in order to find him.

[** Eclipse's location **]

Black Death was watching as more soldiers came. Eclipse was cursing his unfortunate situation. "Fight them!" he called at the others. "It's the only way!"

"But..." Cregal looked pitiful.

"If you don't break those chains now, you will never be free!" Eclipse shouted back as the nearest soldier lifted his hand to attack him... his upper body was scorched just like the rest! Their bodies fell on the ground. Eclipse still felt the heat, but it was hard to believe their enemy would help them. Even the rest of the group was astonished... but maybe not like Black Death... his eyes were full of shock.

He has torn his sleeve, wrapping it around Rhygenta's head and quickly shoving her into Eclipse's arms. The thief knew, who he is, still, he never had any close relationship with him. For some reason, Black Death's eyes turned soft as he looked at the siblings. "Go, my children," he simply said, before heading forward.

They were speechless, he never called them that way.
