The darkest nightmare (4/8)

The crystalline hedgehog seemed no to be fazed by it, calmly answering: "There is no need for hostility. You are my guests here."

"You abducted us here!"

"But you are still my guests, unless..." he didn't finish his sentence.

"What do you want?" Eclipse slowly stood up, crossing his arms and carefully checking his bracelet.

"I want you to be mine," he slowly walked towards him.

"Why me?" he stepped a bit back, turning his head away and glancing around, before looking back. He was looking for any kind of weapon.

"Because I have chosen you. Our union even gifted us a daughter."

"So it was you that night!!" he barked feeling disgusted.

"Yes," he came so close he was just an arm's length away. "I couldn't wait any longer so I bond us together." He gently touched his skin. Eclipse noticed his touch was cold. "Be my queen, together we can conquer this world. All those foolish races will bow to us! We shall be supreme as it was meant to be!"

"Supreme?" Eclipse bit jerked, as he took his cheek in his hand. It was actually a gentle gesture, but he was just so creepy. His eyes were so cold.

"Yes, both of us races are superior to the others. My race of Crystallians always had a strong affinity with black magic while yours had raw strength and amazing instincts not to mention both of us are long-lived races. If we connect our blood we will start a new area." He leaned over him, whispering to his ear. "I can allow you to do something that hedgehog could never achieve."

Eclipse shivered upon hearing it. "I want to see my children," he only said.

"Very well," he straightened up, snapped his fingers and few meters in front of them appeared a black hole on the ground. From it emerged three figures hugging each other. It was them. Eclipse wanted to run to them, but he was stopped. "No, not any closer," he murmured. Eclipse angrily glanced at him, but he was happy the children seems unharmed.

"Mom!" they called him.

"It's alright! Everything will be just fine," he answered them.

The hedgehog looked at Aalis and she lowered her head in fear. "I see our daughter is growing well." Aalis gasped and on his cheek landed a slap. Eclipse was seeing red. A silent tonk was heard as a broken bracelet fell on the ground.

"You are not her father!!" he shouted at him. The hedgehog was surprised and even more when his stomach was almost pierced by Eclipse's knee. "Run, kids!" he barked back, hitting the hedgehog once more, sending him down.

He moved his attention to the knight, who got up. "Are you denying it?" he asked and Eclipse almost hit him to the face, but the knight leaped back. "Have you hidden the truth from her?" he asked making sure Aalis hears it.

"Shut up!! She isn't your daughter! You aren't her true father!" Eclipse slashed him with a tail, but it was caught and he was slammed to the wall. He gasped, air abruptly rushed out his lungs, causing him a pain. He fell on the ground coughing.

"My offer still stands. Be mine. Our daughter can come with us. Abandon the others... they are of the inferior race."

"Never!" he roared, jumping at him, but crystalline hedgehog punched him in the guts and then he hit him to the back of the head, sending him down.

"Why are you so stubborn?!" he kicked him sending him with an elliptical trajectory away. Eclipse's landing was a hard one. He coughed and was hugging his chest. It hurt as hell, but he could tell no bone was broken... yet.

"Mom!" called Amyce and Magnus. They were crying. They had no idea what was happening. Why is this man hurting their mom? Aalis was tightly hugging them. She was scared... confused... Was this man her father? She watched him as he kicked the mom again and again.

The hedgehog straightened up after he tossed Eclipse against another table. Eclipse's body slowly slid down. He was panting, but not broken. He refused to yield. "Your iron will is honorable. I like this about you." He glanced at the kids. "I wonder..."

"Don't you dare!" Eclipse gasped, lifting his heavy body, feeling no strength.

"Don't worry... we will have enough children soon," he said and in his arm materialized huge ax. The haft was longer than usual, one blade was bigger while the other had saw teeth. The blades were connected by small crystals of cold blue color.

"No!" Eclipse dashed, determinate to stop him even if it should kill him.

Dark knight slashed with his ax creating a shock wave, hitting Eclipse to the chest and even drawing some blood. He hit one table, tumbling it over and tilting chairs.

"Mom!!" shouted his children, crying even more. Aalis hugged tighter her terrified siblings. Crystalline hedgehog headed to them. Aalis stepped forward, protecting them with her body.

"You are beautiful," said the knight when he stopped few steps from her. "Truly a fitting member of my race."

"No..." she was hopelessly pushing her tears back. "You are not my father!"

He chuckled. "Poor child, hiding your noble origin... how unfair... Did they ostracize you?"

Aalis' eyes twitched. Father was stricter to her. He always had such cold eyes when he was watching her. He never held her hand, talked with her about small things, it was always about the stuff he taught her or training. She was sometimes getting the feeling he is waiting for a right moment to kill her.

"Am I right?" his question broke the torrent of her memories. She shivered. His expression was almost gentle. "Come with me. This is your home. You belong here."
