*Agreste Mansion*

Adrien peeked into his fathers' library nervously. Gabriel Agreste was seated in one of the chairs, flipping through a book.

Taking a deep breath, Adrien stepped inside. Rubbing his neck, he slightly stuttered, "F- father?"

Not even glancing up at his son, Mr. Agreste said, "Hm?"

"Um.. Father, could I ride on Chloes' parade float tomorrow?"

"During the parade? No. You have your piano practice then. You know that."

The young models' face pinched with disappointment. He held up one finger expressively and was about to speak, when he thought of Ladybug.

And if they say no, don't argue or beg.

He bit his lip and frowned.

  Don't argue or beg.

  Wincing, he turned and left.

Gabriel hadn't even bothered to look up the entire time.

*Adriens' Room*

He picked up his basketball and dribbled it as he paced again.
  Phooey.

That basically summed it up in how he felt about all of this. Cause to be honest, he was dumbstruck. He now knew what he had to do, and that was it.

He paused in his dribbling/pacing and looked at Plagg, who was watching him attentively. They stared at one another for a second, before Adrien glanced over at his tv and picked up the remote. Dropping the ball, he turned on the news and stretched out on the couch.

Plagg continued to stare at him, searching for the slightest sign of distress. But there was none. So he flew over and nestled down on the side of Adriens' head.

Hearing and feeling the rumble of Plaggs' small purring. Adrien smiled and closed his eyes. It was a rare thing for Plagg to show affection, or emotions, like this. And of course, nothing could be said about it.
Plagg is just as bad to deny things...

  Adrien squeezed his eyes tighter.
I did NOT just think that...

With that, the blonde boy blocked all thoughts from his mind and adsorbed the kwamis presence, as he drifted off to sleep. He was really tired after all that worrying and patroling.

*Chloes' Room*

Chloe was in her Queen Bee costume that she had had made; back after she had offically became Queen Bee. With her cell phone out, she was taking multiple selfies for her twitter page.

Adrien peeked his head around the open doorway and gave a knock.

"Adriekins!", Chloe greeted and ran over to kiss him on the cheek.

Knowing that he, as a civilian, ought to be impressed at her outfit; Adrien stared wide-eyed with fake surprise. "You're transformed? What's going on? Is there an akuma?"

  "Hi Adrien!"

He looked over towards the large tv. Sabrina was there, in a complete get-up of a ladybug costume. Except for her glasses.

  "Uh- ladybug?", he then asked.

Chloe sighed in exasperation. "No, that's Sabrina. And my outfit isn't the real thing. But don't tell anyone I said so.", she replied with a distracted flutter of her hand. "Sabrina! Put those contact lenses in! The REAL Ladybug doesn't have glasses."

Chloe then dragged Adrien over to her couch, where a package sat. Grabbing it, she shoved it into his arms. "Here! This one's yours!"

His jaw dropped in panic. There was no acting this time. He had just had a terrible thought. "Wait- mine?? I-! What?? Uh-!"

She pushed him into the bathroom and slammed the door shut on him. "Hurry up and get dressed!"

He stood staring at the closed door, his eyes wide with bewilderment. "No Chat Noir costume! Please, no Chat Noir costume!", he mumbled to himself. "Not again. Please, no!"

A few moments later, he stood looking at himself in the mirror in awe. It wasn't a Chat Noir costume, that's for sure.

The boots reached up to his calves in a smooth form, and were black, except for the soles, which were yellow. Most of the body was yellow. But there were two black stripes near his knees, and three around his waist. Then a small black band that led up to his neck. That was the hidden zipper. Black ran from his neck, around his shoulders, and down his arms. But above his elbows were two yellow stripes. The gloves were almost completely black as well. Except for a yellow band on the glove hems, and the yellow fingers. The mask, which he was already wearing, was black with yellow trim.

He continued to gawk at himself for a moment, before running out of the bathroom.

"Chloe! This is pa- er- cl- er- AWESOME!"

Chloe squealed with delight and hugged his arm. "My King Bee!"

The excitement quickly fell from Adriens' face and was replaced with a look of discomfort. "Uh, what's that you said?"

"I'm Queen Bee, so you're my King Bee! I WAS going to just have worker bees, but seeing as you needed somewhere to be, I thought, why not have me a king bee?? And then Sabrina needed something special, so I changed it all. Ladybug, Chat Noir, Rena Rouge, and Carapace; will be at the base of the float. Passing out Queen Bee pictures."

"And only I will get to pass out the autographed ones!", Sabrina exclaimed, while waving one of the pictures.

Adrien smiled at Sabrina half-heartedly. Then his expression swiftly reverted to a worried frown. "Are you sure that's a good idea, Chloe? The other heroes might not like how you are going to have them shown in the design."

"Pish tush! It's not as if they are the REAL heroes. Which is why I will be on the float. I will be the only real one there."

Adriens' frown deepened as another thought crossed his mind. "Why will I be on the float, then? If only REAL heroes can be on the float?"

Chloe sighed with frustration. "Because I said so!"

Adrien broke out into a cold sweat as his mind raced. This was something else that could upset Marinette. Not to mention that it would probably start up gossip concerning him and Queen Bee. He really didn't want all of this.

  "Chloe, who made this outfit?"

The heroine smiled brightly at the change of subject. "Oh, some american designer that mother knows.", she answered airly. "So you like it??"

He smiled back at her. "I love it!", he answered with a genuine excitement. "But you know how my father is about me and advertising someone elses designs or brands. It has to have his approval, and you know I don't have that. Can we avoid letting the public know who I really am?"

The blonde beauty made a small pout, then said, "Yes, I suppose so..."

He gave her a one-armed hug, and sighed softly in relief. "Thanks, Chloe."

Well, that's two problems out of the way. So long as father or Nathalie doesn't realise I'm AWOL, then they shouldn't be able to find out that I'm- dare I say it- King Bee. Should they happen to see the parade, that is. But what do I do about Marinette?
