Savie-the Power that Fire has

I'm just calmly walking in the forest when I hear screams coming from a nearby cave. My name is Savie and I am a part of the Scions of the Canopy tribe in Natlan. Those screams sound familiar. I run towards the cave and when I enter the cave the sight is...very...gruesome. I see Alhaitham unconscious on the floor, bleeding. Maya, who is severely injured herself, is fending off fatui.

That's when I see arlecchino step out from among them.

"I don't think you'll be getting out this time, an unconscious friend to protect, who's pretty injured , and as for you...a shattered rib, a fractured leg, bleeding severely from you head...you really think you'll be lucky this time?" She says.

Shattered rib? Fractured leg?! I have to help them before it's too late.

"It's Friday the 13th...you can't use your vision now can you?"

Friday the 13th....our visions are disabled.

"I may not be able to use my vision, but I can use dark magic."

Arlechinno just snorts.

"Dark magic? Doesn't it make your eyes bleed or something."

It was at that moment when Alhaitham woke up.

"Wait!" He shouted at Maya.

But by the time he said that it was already too late. She started using dark magic. It was at that moment did Arlecchino decide to throw her spear. I ran into the cave and before the spear hit her I caught it.

"Wait...why are you doing this?! Can you even leave them alone for two seconds?" I asked Arlecchino.

"Do you think I want to?" She asked me. "I want them dead so of course I'm not gonna leave them alone. I'll crush anything to get them killed so I guess that means killing you too."

A fatui lunges at me and pins me to the ground holding a claymore over me.

"Any last words?" The fatui asks me.

"Yeah." I say. "See you on the other side."

I kneed the fatui in the stomach and kicked him across the cave.

"My dark magic....isn't working either." Maya says to me. "We have to fend off the ambush with no visions or dark magic to help us."

Alhaitham tries to stand up but Maya runs over to him and stops him.

"Don't reopen the wound of yours." Maya says to him.

"But-"

"No." Maya cuts Alhaitham off. "Just stay down."

Alhaitham doesn't argue with Maya and sits down. Maya stands up and summons her sword. We start to fight off the fatui. We keep fighting them off but we're no match for them. They eventually had us surrounded. All of a sudden Alhaitham appeared beside us.

"Alhaitham! I told you to sit down!" Maya exclaimed.

"Use the umbrella, I have an idea." he says.

Maya pulls out her shielded umbrella and shields the three of us. Alhaitham uses his elemental burst to disintegrate everyone.

"It's Friday the 13th how did you-" Maya starts but is cut off.

"It's midnight so technically it's Saturday the 14th." He says.

"I see" Maya says. Then she turns to me.

"Thank you Savie, I don't know what we would have done without you." She says.

"Of course." I say.

"Here." she says while handing me a ring of hers. "If you're ever in need of help...smash the ring...it acts like a flare and sends up red smoke."

"Thank you." I said to her.

"Of course!"

I walk outside the cave and into the open evening. When I reach the forest and the cave is out of sight, I feel a sharp pain in my neck, and everything blacks out.

NOTE:

Hi ya'll. I haven't really left notes so here I am! In case the whole Friday the 13th thing is confusing...let me explain. So basically, I know that this isn't true in genshin but I wrote this chapter on Friday the 13th in the month of September. Basically I thought "Why not make it special to Friday the 13th and so...that's all I could come up with. 

As for the dark magic you'll see more about how Maya got that in another further chapter. The character Addie is based on created that backstory so thanks a lot to her!
