Xiao-Vigilant Yaksha

I wish I could have teamed up with Zhongli. It is my duty to protect the people of Liuye as a Yaksha. Protecting Zhongli was my top priority but....Now he's gone.

My name is Xiao. I am an adeptus in Liuye and I am also the Conqueror of Demons.

Contracts are gone forever. Eternity is gone forever. Justice is gone forever. Freedom is gone forever. I wish things could have ended differently. Now the only archons left are Nahida, Mauvika, and the Tsaritsa.

The Jade Chamber is no longer the place where Lady Ningguang and her most trusted companions Ganyu and Keqing stay anymore. Pieces of it are still breaking and burning off, crashing to the ground below. All the plants have been burnt and the water in the lakes have already been drained along with the lily pads and lotus heads.

I wish that I could have been there for him as he died. But now it's too late. Goodbye Zhongli. Please guide my spear. As I'm sitting I hear an announcement from an unknown voice.

"The dead are here, if you need them, they'll be there to guide you."

Zhongli. Will....will he be there? I'm gonna find out. I jump off the top of the jade chamber and free fall to the erinyes forest. I use my vision to help me settle on the ground without dying. No answer. Was this a trick? When I'm about to leave there is a faint glow behind me.

I turn around and see the ghost of zhongli standing in front of me. And that ghost..is drinking...othamus wine?

"Zh-zhongli?"

I stare at the ghostly figure in front of me as he walks towards me, dropping the cup, which disintegrated below him.

"If you let the light into your heart, the darkness cannot shine."

Just like that. He left me again. Before I could even say that I was sorry...he left. He was gone. I quickly ran back into the erinyes forest, climbed up a tree and silently cried there. I'm sorry zhongli. There was nothing I could do. There was nothing left to do. I'm on my own now.

I will keep fighting till the end. I will keep fighting until only I remain.
