Epilogue

December 2030

I've never been more nervous, yet more excited for anything in my entire life. I clutch onto Alex's arm and can't help but grin as I glance between the rows of people, him guiding me towards the aisle.

As soon as I step foot in his line of vision my eyes are drawn to him, my mouth salivating with desire at the sight of his body clothed in a fitted suit, a red rose pinned to his jacket, grin spreading across his face at the sight of me in the impeccably white dress that clings to every curve on my body, a train flowing out behind me.

Once my eyes meet his there is no-one else in the room, just him and I, ready to officially tell the world that we will only ever have eyes for each other.

Alex throws him some protective, warning words before passing my hand over, Brett's eyes still wide with awe as they rake up and down my body.

We say our vows without hesitation, without mistakes, our sweaty hands clutching one another, a tell tale sign of our nerves. Shooting each other sheepish little smiles as the ceremony continues I begin to feel at ease. I don't know why I'm anxious, I'm here for Brett and Brett only, no-one else matters.

As soon as the registrar pronounces us husband and wife Brett's lips are on mine, ridiculously hungry as he trails his tongue across my bottom lip to ask for entrance, myself greedily allowing it as the room erupts into cheers and we become Mr and Mrs Brett Winters by law.

*~*~*

"Do you understand how hard it was to not sack off the entire ceremony, throw you over my shoulder, find a private room and fuck you as soon as I saw you at the end of that aisle?" Brett whispers into my ear.

"Brett!" I exclaim, pulling back slightly as we continue to sway across the dancefloor.

"Absolutely breathtaking." He grins, "Gorgeous."

"I have to say the same about you." I grin, "It's a shame we won't be alone tonight." I remind him, the smirk instantly falling from his face.

"Can't Elle take her?" He whines and I laugh.

"Hey! You knocked me up." I retort, "You have to deal with the consequences."

"Not on my wedding night!" He protests, "Why can't my Mom have her?"

"I think Olivia will be a little busy with her date." I giggle, pointing at the couple making out in the corner.

"Gross!" Brett grimaces, shaking his head towards his Mother. "Come on, what about Elle? Or Becky?"

"It's rude to impose!" I scold and he pouts.

"But today is about us." Brett argues and I laugh, reaching up and wrapping my arms around his neck.

"Well, 'us' includes a toddling two year old." I giggle and he rolls his eyes as we continue to move across the dancefloor, all eyes on us for the first dance.

"I love you." Brett says softly, leaning in and resting his forehead against mine. "And our family." He adds and I smile.

"I love you too." I reply, "Husband."

"Say that again." Brett dares, his voice husky.

"What?" I reply innocently, a teasing smile on my face, "Husband?"

"We've got to get rid of the kid tonight." Brett smirks, leaning down and claiming my lips in an electrifying kiss. A sudden tug on my dress causes me to pull away and glance down, Brett's gorgeous child staring up at me. "Seems like someone's ears were burning!" Brett exclaims as I grab onto our blonde daughter, picking her up before Brett wraps his arms around the two of us once more.

"Hey baby!" I smile as she grabs onto the end of my hair, her new favorite thing to play with, "You okay?" I ask and she nods before resting her head on my chest, clump of hair in her fist.

"Daisy seems tired." Brett lowers his voice to her and she giggles before glancing up at me, her ocean blue eyes mesmerizing.

"She definitely is." I retort as we continue to sway, laughing as we talk to our little girl, perfectly happy in our own world.

*~*~*

"Hey!" I exclaim as I slouch down beside Becky and Elena, their eyes wide as they stare at the dance floor. Turning to see whatever has their attention I laugh at the sight of Brett, Ellis, Ben, Chris and Liam, all throwing down some ridiculous dance moves.

"Hey S!" Elena exclaims, "You gorgeous bride!"

"Stop!" I giggle, a rush of red flooding into my cheeks.

"She's right though." Becky retorts and I smile at their compliments, both of them dressed in the blue bridesmaid dresses that I'd picked out only one week before. Disorganization at its finest, having instead been preoccupied with both entertaining Daisy and ensuring I'd completed all important work at the office before Brett and I took the next month off.

"What now S?" Elena asks, "You going to have another baby?"

"Whoa!" I exclaim, "Slow down, I only just said 'I do'!"

"So?" Becky scoffs, "Didn't stop you before..."

"Alright!" I cut her off, raising my hand, "I might... want to ask Brett about how he feels having another one."

"Yes!" Elena exclaims, "I can't wait! The first one is so cute!"

"She is." Becky agrees, pointing back at the dance floor. Turning towards it I smile at the sight of my giggling child, hand in hand with Danny as they dance, him having fallen in love with her almost as soon as she was born.

"Well, I'm not sure." I reply, "Brett is already telling me Daisy isn't going out with a boy until she's thirty. Imagine if we had two."

"It could be a boy." Becky reminds me.

"I think that's what he's hoping for." I laugh, "But I can tell you something, there's no way my son will be anything like Brett Winters was in high school."

"I think we're all glad to hear that." Zara exclaims, slouching down in the chair next to me, Missy following. "I'd like to raise a glass to Savannah!" She grins, grabbing hold of a glass of champagne from the center of the table. The others follow, Becky handing me one with a grin.

"Cheers to one of our best friends getting tied down to a man forever!" Becky exclaims, before clinking her glass against ours.

"That was... lovely." Elena giggles as Becky shrugs, raising the drink to her lips. The others take a sip and I raise my own to my lips, eyes still on Becky as she discreetly attempts to spit the champagne back into the glass.

Wait, what?

She loves to drink, adores alcohol more than she loves her damn friends. Is there something wrong with the champagne? I take a sip, feeling the bubbles of alcohol in my mouth, the usual taste spreading across my tongue. It would be better with some orange juice in it, but it's alright, there's nothing wrong with it.

What on earth is she doing? She isn't the designated driver, yet now that I think about it she didn't have anything whilst we were getting ready either, claiming she'd already had a few shots before she came to my room. This isn't normal, it's almost like she... Oh my God!

"You're pregnant!" I exclaim, eyes wide as they fixate on Becky.

"What?" Elena squeals, all eyes on our speechless best friend.

"No!" Zara breathes out, "Ellis knocked you up?" She smirks at Becky who rolls her eyes.

"Yes!" Becky admits quietly, hissing slightly, "Please can you keep it a secret for now?" She begs and we all nod, grinning at her.

"Of course Bec!" I giggle, "I can't believe it!"

"Me neither." She huffs, "He finally trapped me." She smirks and I shake my head.

"You're happy Bec, can't you just admit that?" Zara exclaims with a laugh.

"Fine!" Becky smirks, "I'm happy."

"Congratulations!" Elena squeals, reaching over and hugging her as I join, all of us surrounding our blushing friend.

Before long we all pull away and as I turn back towards the dance floor I see that the squealing Daisy has been scooped up into Brett's arms as he continues to dance, our baby girl laughing as she points at Ellis and Ryan.

*~*~*

"I just want to say a few words." Brett announces an hour later and I turn away from Elle to face him, the music cutting out and Daisy yelling out in displeasure from Becky's arms. "Be patient Daisy!" Brett laughs before turning to face me. "I just want to add a little something onto the speech that was made earlier."

I stab a fork into the slice of wedding cake on my plate before shoving it into my mouth as I smile up at my husband.

"Savannah, you have made me the happiest man today." Brett begins, "I never thought that my Diner Girl would turn into such a pain in my ass."

"Hey!" I exclaim, furrowing my eyebrows at him as the room descends into laughter.

"I'm glad that along the way one of us always refused to give up, whether it was me, or you, following all our mistakes we found our way back to each other. Time helped let us grow, to let us heal from our mistakes, to let us realize how much we meant to each other." Brett continues, "Over time I have fallen in love with you over and over again." He smiles and I can't help but smile back, my stomach fluttering with slight excitement at the way he looks at me. I'm definitely going to beg Becky or Elle to take Daisy.

Tonight my husband and I need time alone, that much is clear from the lust filled electricity bouncing between us.

"And time has been the best asset to our relationship, proving again and again, that we are meant to be together, through thick and thin." Brett exclaims, "I love you baby."

As he places the microphone down on the table I jump up, grabbing onto his face and smashing my lips to his, Ellis and Chris' hollers sounding out from across the room, Brett's smirk enough for me to deepen the kiss for a few seconds, desire building in my core.

Pulling away I grin as he lets out a deep breath, "I love you too Brett." I reply in a low voice, "I always will."

"Mommy, Mommy!" The little voice from beside me has both of us staring down at the angry looking child, her blonde hair falling out of its updo, her lips fixed into a pout.

"What is it?" Brett asks her, leaning down and lifting her into his arms, "I know, it's been a long day Dais!" He says, brushing her hair away from her face.

"I want cake!" She retorts, pushing his hands away.

"Wow," Brett smirks, instantly passing her into my arms, "This is your problem."

"Well, isn't that lucky Daisy?" I say to her, "I fancy some more as well." "Does Daddy want some?"

"No. Daddy will be eating something else later." Brett smirks, my cheeks reddening at his dirty insinuation. Oh!

I'm looking forward to our wedding night and the benefits that will no doubt come with it, my absolute God of a husband clearly already planning his moves. He still alights a burning desire within me, every day that we are together only making that grow stronger, never weaker.

Most importantly, Brett and I have proved our love. We have overcome every obstacle that's been thrown our way and we've come out stronger every time. We will continue to do so, a united team on the same page.

Together, forever and always, for the rest of time.
