The machines around me start beeping as I slowly open my eyes for a second time.

I am not in Middle Earth anymore!
The oxygen mask around my nose and mouth feels heavy as I breathe in. 'Sara!' Tess, she sits in a wooden chair next to my bed. 'I thought I lost you!' Her arms fold around my neck as she cries. 'I' I start, but where do I start?

What can I tell? They all think that I am delusional..

'Sara!' Jason. He rushes into my hospital room, his expression is unreadable. He stops as he looks at me. 'Sara, I'

'I shall leave you two alone' Tess says as she stands up from her chair. 'You know what I said!' She sneers at Jason before she exits the room. 'Jason' I say as I take the oxygen mask from my face. I breathe deep in as I look at the man I once loved.

I love another know, someone who would never betray me.

My hearts skips a beat when I think about him and the machines starts beeping again. I smile a little.

'Sara, calm down. Put your mask back on' Jason says, not looking at me. 'Can you tell me what happened?'

He sighs deeply and looks at me. 'I was running after you-'

'I know that, but when I hit the water..' I say cutting him off. 'I saved you, I mean. I jumped after you. You hit the embankment and your head-' He shivers at the thought. 'It was bleeding so badly. I didn't think you were going to make it'

Suddenly his hand is on my own. 'Hey, don't mess with your IV' I stare at his hand on my own, I feel nothing. Only relieve that I am alive.

And sadness.

Heartbroken.

'Please go' I say, no more than a whisper. 'Sara' I look at him, not wanting him here any longer. 'I said go. I told you before Jason. It is over'

The shock in his eyes changes in anger, no rage. 'I saved you' He spits at me. 'And still you don't want me back!' He backs away from my bed. 'I should have let you drown' He roars. Instead of being afraid at him, I feel only anger and sadness. Sadness for him.

'Bye Jason' I say, not wanting to make it worse. He storms away and seconds later Tess is inside my hospital room. 'Are you okay?' She says, tears forming in her eyes. I nod. 'Yes, never felt better' I smile and it is true. I am free of him.

But my heart is broken because I can never go back to Aragorn.

Three days later, I am fired from the hospital. Tess brings me home and Jason brought all my stuff to her place. Tess doesn't want to say what he said to her. But it's okay.

I am done. With a big sigh I sit down on her sofa. I bring my knees up to my chest and fold my arms around it. 'Hey, you okay?' Tess asks me quietly as she sits down next to me. 'No'

She takes my hand. 'Sara it is over. He is gone. Really gone'

'I know' Is all I say as I stare at the bookcase. "The Fellowship of the ring by J.R.R" Then it hits me.

The books!

'Sara?' Tess I waving in front of me. 'Are you sure you are okay?' She says worriedly. 'Yes, I am just feeling tired'

'Seconds ago you said no'

'I know! But I don't know how I feel or how I have to feel'

'How?' She asks me. I shrug. 'Yes, he saved me. But also cheated on me. I just don't know'

'He is a loser Sara. The biggest one in the world. So please just let it go'

'I know you are right. But it takes time' Tess sighs 'Okay' She stares blankly at the wall. I can hear the clock ticking as the minutes go bye. My eyes are still fixated on the books. 'So..' Tess begins.

'Spit it out Tess' I say, now getting irritated. 'I have a date planned for tonight. I thought that you had to be in the hospital for a week and half or so. And I thought that it was-'

'You can go. I go to bed anyway'

'So you don't think I am a bad friend?' I look at her and force a smile. 'No silly! Go! Have fun. That I am feeling miserable doesn't mean that you have to feel it too' Her smile drops. 'Miserable? I can stay!'

Shit.

'No no! I told you I am fine. But it takes time. Please go' I say almost begging her. She looks at me for a long time and smiles. 'I'll go. Only because you want me too'

'And if you are back, you have to tell me everything!'

'Duh' She laughs. 'Thanks Sara' She kisses the top of my head. 'Calm down, take what you want, this is your house too now'

'Thankyou' I say as she stands up from the sofa and puts on her jacket. 'Have fun!'

'Thanks darling!' She shouts as she walks out of the front door.

Alone.

I just know he'll be here. He has to.

In those books he lives.

I let myself sink on the floor and crawl towards the bookcase. Nothing else matters more than this moment.

For a moment I thought that when I opened the book, I was sucked in, bringing me back to the man I loved the most. But when I took the last book and opened it, nothing happened.

I sit what feels like days on the wooden floor. Thinking how I have to go back.

I promised him!

I came in Middle Earth because I fell in the Thames...

I stand up from the floor and put on my jacket. I am only wearing my pajama shorts and top, but I don't care. I am going home!

I run out of the door, not bothering to close it properly. As I run down the street, I notice people are looking at me.

But I don't care!

I force my legs to move faster, harder.

As I see a bridge over the Thames, I want to yell. I look around, there are no people outside, what is not weird because it's 1 in the morning. But London is always busy. I climb over the balustrade as I prepare myself to jump.

'Sara?!'

Holy-

Seriously? Tess..

'What the Hell are you thinking? What are you doing?' She screams, running towards me. Her date, a man with big brown eyes and black short hair is looking at me in shock. 'Tess!' I yell. 'Don't come any closer'

She stops and her eyes grow big, fear is taking over. 'Why are you doing this?'

'I just want to go back Tess'

I realize I never told her about it, about him.

'I want to go back to him'

'If you want to, but that doesn't mean that you have to jump of a bridge to prove it!' She shouts and wants to take another step my way. 'Tess' I warn her. Tears well up in her eyes, rolling down her cheeks. 'I know what I am doing'

Oh hell do I not.

'If it doesn't work, I explain everything to you. But if it works, than this is goodbye'

'What doesn't work? Sara? What do you mean?'

'You are my best friend Tess. Goodbye' And with that said, I jump.

I hear Tess scream my name, her running footsteps towards the balustrade. When my body hits the cold water, it drags me down. Deeper and deeper, till I lose consciousness.

I wake up as someone touches my nose. I open my eyes and look at Brego, Aragorn's horse. I pat his nose and push myself up. I look around.

I am back, laying at the embankment of the Anduin river. I stand up and turn towards Brego, who is till eating grass.

Good horse.

I am back!

Holy Fuck, I did it!

Doesn't mean that I am dead now? At Earth I mean.

I don't care, I am back bitches!

Minas Tirith is shining in the light of the sun and I hear distant trumpets sounds..

What?

I climb quickly on Brego's back. Whatever this is, I do not what to miss it!

I can't wait to see Aragorn's face when I appear before him!

I push slightly in Brego's flank and begins to run, towards my love.
