So you have had your creative works reviewed and judged for teenficawards' or unknownfamousauthor's The Teen Fic Awards 2017 and you have made it on to Round 2 of the competition.   First of all, a Hearty Congratulations on this Achievement!

Now we move on to the more competitive judging where all of your scores are now erased and we start with a blank slate! In addition, a new set of judges will now be reviewing your books.    Rest assured, your book is being appraised for your covers, summary, creativity, originality, writing quality, plot development and character evolution.

For the Teen Fic Awards 2017 in the Teen Fiction Genre, there are 27 contestants and 28 entries that have qualified for Round 2!   There are three judges: achudasama1, JDFanFF and smile707. achudasama1 is serving as the head judge of this category for Round 2.    However, all of our scores are given the same weight and consideration.   I act as a facilitator on behalf of the organizer to ensure the timely delivery of the results and any concerns that my fellow judges may have about the guidelines or the books.

The 28 entries have been divided equally between us.   My two fellow judges are reviewing 9 entries each while I will be reviewing 10 books in total.   I am aware of the book distribution between judges but will not be revealing that until after the results are announced on July 1, 2017.   If those judges are agreeable, they will each receive a page in this book where the contestants can directly interact with them to address any concerns or questions after the results are posted.

This supplementary contest book may not share additional reviews, since this time around all of the contestants will be getting detailed feedback in the main contest book.   However, contestants assigned to me may receive some further information based on the review conducted.   Before we delve into all the details, here is some additional information:

*** As per page 3 of the Teen Fic Awards book, please ensure that you follow all the judges in your category.   No bribing will be tolerated and will lead to immediate disqualification.

+++ Please understand that the judges are hard at work, spending their time and reading your books to provide valuable feedback and reviews.   This is the least that a contestant can do to show their appreciation.

*** After the contest ends, starting on July 5, 2017 you may un-follow us.   None of us will be offended.

*** I believe in helping writers who have decided to take a risk and share their creativity with readers.   So I would like to offer one of the three listed services for Round 2 and it only applies to the 10 contestants that are assigned to achudasama1.

Please keep in mind that if you are not placed in the top three of this category, it does not mean that your book is not worthy!   Per one of my favourite authors Amy Tan whose novel "The Joy Luck Club" was adapted into a 1993 film, she says, "Writing is an extreme privilege but it's also a gift. It's a gift to yourself and it's a gift of giving a story to someone."
