(2) Hunfrodo

On a bright early morning, the theme song of "2001 Space Odyssey," erupts from Humphrey's alarm clock loud and clear. Humphrey forgot to turn off his alarm last night, now he's wide awake at 6 a.m. His bedroom door opens, and it was his mom, Ms. Jaxon. She must have heard his alarm clock and figured that Humphrey would be awake. "Good morning my sweet Hunfrodo, any luck on finding a job?" His mother asked. "No, not really." Humphrey turned to his mom, not even realizing he has stitches on his head. "Humphrey! What on earth happened to your head! I'm calling the school!"

Humphrey crawls out of the bed and tried to calm down his mom by explaining what just happened yesterday outside of Mr. Lee's shop. Once he explained it to her, she insists on taking him to the hospital to get the stitches done professionally. Humphrey wasn't a fan of going to the hospital. Mr. Lee did actually a good job with his wound. The stitching looks very prominent and looks very well secured. His job as the taxidermist must've paid off.

Sooner than later, they arrived at the hospital, "Jefferson Regional Hospital." Ms. Jaxon dropped Humphrey off in front of the hospital so his mom can go find a parking spot. Humphrey went in; there were five nurses at the front registration busy on their computer. This hospital has never gotten to its slow pace level. This probably has to be one of the busiest hospitals in history.

When Humphrey was scanning around in the waiting room, a mid-age woman wearing green scrubs who presume to be a doctor greeted him kindly. "Hello, how can we help you here?" The doctor asked with a pleasant smile as her freckles seemed to have appeared and then multiply or it was just an optical illusion nor sorcery.

"Um, my mom will be here shortly. We're just here to see if the stitches on my forehead are ok. She's just worried if it's not professional or somewhat infected." Humphrey replied to the doctor's question, and she shook her head. "Your stitches seem all right. And oops, I'm sorry, I forgot to introduce myself, I'm Dr. Cohen."

Humphrey smiled and commanded himself to name himself, "Evening, Dr. Cohen, it's very nice to meet you as well I'm Hump-." Humphrey was cut out before completely saying his name and a woman called out, "Humphrey! Thank the Lord! The parking lot is busy as a zoo! It's like a quadruple the size of the Trader's Joe parking lot!" His mom was bathed in sweat and holding her index finger out giving her a moment to breathe.

"Mom, I can get you water. There's a vending machine here." Humphrey pointed to the vending machine that's next to the entrance. And in his peripheral, he spotted Autumn approaching with a cup of coffee and a bag of "Crème Brulée Cafe." "Uh-uh, what are you doing here?" Humphrey stuttered. Autumn wasn't amused and replied to his question. "Apparently it seems like your brain is just cluttered of nerd stuff and Maya right now at the moment. Did you forget that my mom works here too? And what's up with your head? Did you lose your memory?" She examined his head. Humphrey responded scarcely, "Ha no. Who said I was thinking about Maya?" Humphrey glanced down his shoes and continued, "I didn't forget, I just didn't know she works here. That's all." Humphrey looked back up, shoving his hands in his pockets awkwardly.

" I can see that our mums getting along well," Autumn said breaking the silence. Humphrey looked over in their direction. Ms. Jaxon and Dr. Cohen are holding hands and giggling. Ms. Jaxon is laughing at last? Humphrey smiled.

A faint of a siren was quiet until it got louder as it moved in closer. A bunch of doctors crowed at the drop-off area, and a doctor was reading but you could barely hear it. Autumn spoke, "Did she say, Glenn Coleman? I can't make out the name." "Me neither," Humphrey stated with his eyebrows pulled together in conclusion.

The yellow stretcher carries a man whose head is blocked off by rallies doctors and nurses. Blood was dripping down to the tile floors.

A big thump was heard twice when the stretcher was going over the door frame on the floor. The stretcher is usually known for its bright yellow as a caution, but now it's covered by the color of red. Dripping down the poles to the cold tile floor. The person on the bloody stretcher cannot be seen due to the number of doctors and nurses crowding around the person.

Dr. Cohen asks Humphrey and his mother to follow her to the clinic. They followed her and Autumn tagged along. Dr. Cohen and Ms. Jaxon walking alongside discussing Humphrey's wounds and how he got it. Autumn is still puzzled next to Humphrey. She always has a curious mind, just like a Ravenclaw. "There's blood, right? There has to be a story about this, right now on the news? " Humphrey shrugged, and he seated on the chair in the patients' room.

Autumn was just busy tumbling her thumbs on her mobile looking on "Sniper News Flash" and yet seems like the case was held privately at the moment. She frowns, and her mother insisted on her daughter to eat her sandwich and let it wash away. She obeyed and grabbed out her swiss and bacon sandwich. With her gleeful face as she chews her sandwich felt like she has turned into the happiest woman alive. Humankind has embroidered more freckles on her summer sprout skin. But nothing compared to Maya's smooth glowing warmth that angels caressed their palms on Maya's face in harmony.

"Wake up, lover boy, your Maya session is over." Autumn interrupted Humphrey's thought after Dr. Cohen finished her inspection. "What-t? How?" Humphrey asked confused. "It's all in the face. It's your face, you barbarian fella."

Dr. Cohen told him to come back within a week. Autumn escorted Humphrey and Ms. Jaxon out of the exam room. Autumn and Ms. Jaxon share a delightful conversation and Humphrey looks around and spots someone crying in the waiting room.

"Belle?"

She lifted her face up and another man figure whose sitting next to her also lifted his head revealing his face. Noah Wright.
