A small beam of sunlight hit my eyes waking me up. I stretched out in the bed as I was starting to open my eyes. I felt like I slept like a log but my body for some reason was feeling slightly soar. When I finally opened my eyes completely, I looked over my surrounds expecting it to be usual as always but that's when I noticed I was in a un unfamiliar place.

'What's the..? That's not my room.' I thought to myself as I kept looking around when suddenly I noticed that there's someone laying besides me. When I took a closer look at who it was, I realized it's Kakashi.

'Why is Kakashi here too?' That's when it downed on me what had happened. All of the memories of yesterday started to flood back to me making me feel hot suddenly. I shook my head to dismiss that as I looked at the sleeping Kakashi next to me. A smile appeared on my face as I thought how nice it feels to have him next to me like that and after all that time of secretly admirering him. I decided to try and sleep for a bit longer because Kakashi didn't seem to be waking up soon and I didn't want to disturb his peaceful sleep so I closed my eyes and tried drifting back to sleep.

Kakashi's pov:

I was deep in my sleep when my arm started to feel numb from some weight that was on top of it. I managed to slightly open my eyes to take a look at my arm when I noticed a brown haired man laying on it. I quickly recognized that it was Iruka but it took me a bit longer to realize why he is here next to me. I started to think about yesterday and what exactly went down. Remembering how pushy I acted towards him, it definitely didn't seem anything like the usual me would do or say so, I figured that this probably was the effects of the potion. Though, I can't really complain about that, after all, if it wasn't for that potion, now I wouldn't have confessed and spent the night with the person I love. Just the thought of yesterday with Iruka filled me up with happiness and as I was thinking back to everything I watched as Iruka was sleeping soundlessly in my arms. Then, I leaned to give him a kiss on the forehead when suddenly...

Nobody's pov:

Suddenly, Iruka opened his eyes and met with Kakahi's. "Kakashi?"

"Iruka, you are awake?"

"Well, kind of. I woke up before you and since you were still sleeping I decided to sleep more myself."

"I see. I have a question, Iruka. Yesterday when you told me you love me, did you really meant it?"

A blush appeared on Iruka's face. "Yes... I really ment it."

"I see... I actually need to apologize about my actions yesterday. I wasn't quite fully myself. It seems that I was under the effects of a potion which I got on myself on a mission."

"Wait, what do you mean? What potion?" Iruka frowned hearing that.

"I am not really sure of what kind of potion it was. All I know is that it didn't seem to have any effects until I ran into you yesterday. It seems because of the potion I went a bit out of my way and acted a bit too unusually and maybe even too wildly."

"Then... Does that mean... What you said yesterday... Wasn't really true... You didn't really mean that you love me...?" Iruka suddenly felt as if someone just stabbed him in his chest.

"I didn't really say that this was a lie. I only told you that the potion made me act more wildly, meaning that I ended up acting too much on my emotions."

"So.. Then, do you actually love me, Kakashi?" Iruka asked with nervousness in his voice.

"Yes, I truly do love you, Iruka, and I'm actually glad I got hit by that potion, because if not for it, I probably wouldn't have confessed to you yet."

Hearing that, the brown haired chūnins face lit up and a small smile appeared. "Thank god. You scared me, Kakashi. I was starting to think that you don't really like me back... But I'm glad now, hearing that you actually do."

"I'm sorry for scaring you, Iruka." Kakashi apologized and then grabbed Iruka by his hands while looking straight in his eyes. "Now, that things are cleared up and we both know how we feel about each other. Then, from now on, I want to spend my life with you. Would you agree to that?"

"Yes!! *cough* I mean yes, I would be glad to." Iruka's face was now beaming with happiness.

Kakashi also made a happy face as he pulled by the hand now his brown haired male into a tight embrace. Iruka was slightly caught off guard by the sudden hug, but he quickly returned it. Both males ended up staying like this for a while enjoying each other's warmth.
