“ Where are we heading ?” asked Andrew

“ Im sending you back to your home” said Eren

“ Oh. Does that means you know the way back to the village?” asked Andrew

“ ….” Eren remained silence and stoped walking

“ Let me guess , you don’t know the way either don’t you?” asked Andrew accusingly while Eren continue to remain silence and cast his gaze downwards

“ I knew it …” sighed Andrew as he slumped himself down to the ground . “ We’ve been walking for hours and its going to be dark soon.” Andrew mumbled

Eren let out a sigh. This is the first time he ever gone out of the hole . How on earth can he help Andrew find his way back when he , himself wasn’t very familiar with the area ?

Eren looked up into the sky. He remembered Andrew told him hours back that the sky will change its colour depending on the time . Right now ,it is orange almost reddish . He could feel the warmness of the sun that was enveloping him before gradually disappearing . He could see a flock of birds flying towards the setting sun.

If only we could fly like them , things would be a lot more easier – thought Eren

Andrew look towards the flying birds then an idea hit him. “ That’s it !” exclaimed Andrew which took Eren by surprised

“ Eren ! You could use your ice power to create a huge bird so we could fly !” said Andrew excitedly

“ Is that even possible? ” frowned Eren

“ Well ..you never knew until you try .” said Andrew

“ …” Eren remained silent

Eren knew he could make a lot of things with his power but to build bird made of snow that is capable of flying , he has doubts in himself .

Andrew watched Eren as the boy was lost in his thought. It was then he realized something about the other boy . His light blonde hair and the way it was combed backwards , it look too familiar . Eren almost look like his aunt Elsa.

“ hm.. your hair is the same as Aunt Elsa” said Andrew

Eren give him a look which clearly say that the thing Andrew said means nothing to him.

“ It’s a good thing . I always think that Aunt Elsa is awesome” grinned Andrew

“ Andrew .. I failed to see how the similarities between my hair and your aunt hair has anything to do with how am I going to create a flying snow bird .” said Eren as he glared

“ Aunt Elsa can make a talking snowman.” said Andrew which causes Eren to widened his eyes in surprise

“ and his name is Olaf and he likes warm hugs !” giggled Andrew “ oh ! and Aunt Elsa also build another snowman named Marshmallow ! He’s huge and mom says that he is rude but I think he’s fluffy!”

Eren listened to Andrew as he excitedly told him how his Aunt Elsa use her power to build such amazing living snowman. Just by listening to him , he could tell that Andrew love her . He look at her as a family figure . Unlike Andrew’s Uncle Jack or Aunt Elsa who has a family to love , he is just a monster . Unwanted by his own family. Eren could feel a hint of jelousy rise within himself as he listen more to Andrew . No perhaps jelousy wasn’t the right word . He felt as if his heart was clench and it hurts . Perhaps it was a heartache ? 

“ Uncle Jack is awesome too ! He can make snow bunnies !” Andrew giggled

“ Why are you telling me all this ?” asked Eren as he gritted his teeth . “ What’s the point of telling me all this ?”  

“ You look like Aunt Elsa” said Andrew

The look Eren giving him was clear enough that he was telling him that he didn’t accept that as answer .

“ Well since I always thought Aunt Elsa is awesome , I think you will be awesome too ! I mean you guys have the exact same power . Well of course, Uncle Jack has the same power too but it isn’t the same . “ said Andrew

“ sometimes I admire the way you think” sighed Eren

“ Is that a compliment ?”Andrew grinned

Eren ignore Andrew and look at his hands . Can he really live up to his expectation ? Can he be like Aunt Elsa and create an actually flying snowbird ?

“ wanna know what my Aunt used to told me ?” said Andrew . He knew Eren wont respond to his question but he wanted to tell Eren

“ You never know what you’re capable of until you let yourself go” said Andrew

Eren thought about it for a moment . How such words from a woman he never meet touched him.

 Let yourself go .

As if the word telling him that to let go of the chains that haunt him ever since he could remember . The chain that has been holding himself . The chain that has bounded him towards hatred and becoming a monster he should be .

Should he ?

No. He cant .After all those years living alone and in total darkness , he could never let go of his hatred let alone forgive the ones who had left him .

Anger rise within him. His power starts to lurk around him which causes the surrounding temperature to drop almost instantly.

I can never forgive them. – thought Eren

“ Eren !” Andrew whimpered which causes Eren to snap off his thought “ you’re freezing everything” said Andrew

Upon his words , Eren tried to calm himself down. Soon enough , the ice starts to go away and the temperature returns to normal.

“ You don’t have to force yourself , Eren . We could try find a way out by walking” said Andrew dejectedly

Eren let out a sigh again. He won’t let go of his hatred but surely it doesn’t hurt to try making a flying snow bird right ?

Taking in a deep breath . Eren tried his best to imagine the birds that were flying in the skies just a few moments ago and with a swift movement of both of his hands , he let out his powers .

In an instant, there stood a huge almost majestic looking snow bird they ever seen.

“ Cool ! I knew you could do it !” said Andrew as he marveled at Eren’s creation .

“ Can we name it ?” asked Andrew innocently

“ Do whatever you want” said Eren uninterested

“ How about I call you Snow?” said Andrew which causes Eren to frown

“ Your sense in picking names sucks” said Eren

“ aww.. but Snow likes it! Besides he is made from snow.” said Andrew as he puff his cheeks

“ Whatever “ said Eren .

 “ can Snow fly ?” asked Andrew curiously

“ one way to find out” smirked Eren as he climbed onto the bird’s back and help Andrew to climb up.

Once Eren give the signal , Snow takes his stands before flapping his wings and in seconds they’re already flying up in the sky.

“ This is amazing !” squeled Andrew

Eren was speechless himself . The view up in the sky were too breathtaking . The forest where they came from looks so small from up there . It was just simply …amazing.

This was the first time he fly in the air but somehow , Eren couldn’t shake the feeling that he has been up here before . Its like he was used to fly .

“ there the village !” said Andrew excitedly as he pointed out his fingers towards the village .

Eren could see it clearly . “ allright . Hold on tight. We’re gonna land” said Eren

Once Snow land itself at an open space at the end of the village, Andrew hastily jumped down from snow

“ You could get yourself hurt if you do that” said Eren as he carefully climbed down of the bird but his words was ignored by Andrew.

“ Uncle Jack !” shouted Andrew as he run towards a man who happens to be nearby .

“ Andrew !” exclaimed the man in relief as he pulled the boy into a hug. “ I thought I lost you too…” said the man almost painfully

“ Im sorry Uncle Jack” whimpered Andrew

Eren watched both of them from the side . He noticed the man facial features and his hair . His hair was as white as the snow . Something that really fascinates him for some reason

“ Where have you been? I was so worried and I look everywhere for you !” said the man

“ I…saw a bunny and wanted to catch it for you and followed it into the forest” said Andrew

“ You went into the forest ?! that’s dangerous. You could get lost young man” said the man in a scolding tone

“ I …kindda get lost inside the forest” whimpered Andrew

“ oh ..so did manage to experience it.” Said the man sarcastically

“ Im sorry but I meet a friend and he help me to find my way back! “ said Andrew excitedly

“ A friend ?” the man raise his eyebrow curiously

“ Yep. A friend! “ said Andrew with a grin as he pulled Eren towards the man .

“ Uncle Jack , meet Eren ! “ said Andrew excitedly
