Part 6

“ Who are you ?” asked Andrew

He noticed the other boy glare’s start to intensify “ I believed you are in no position to ask me such question” said the boy in a stern almost cold tone which causes fear to rise from deep inside Andrew .

“ I’ll ask you this again. Who are you ?” asked the boy with a glare which enough to send the message to Andrew that he will kill him if he did not answer him.

“ An..Andrew “ said Andrew nervously

“ Andrew , what are you doing here ?” asked the boy with an intimidating tone

“ I..I don’t know … I fell down…” Andrew tried to reason with him .

“ Andrew …you do realize you are in someone else territory .. I could just kill you right this instance” said the boy warningly . Andrew notice that the room temperature starts to drop even lower almost freezing .

“ Now speak ! what are you doing here ? or rather who sent you here ? “ he asked

“ I don’t know !” screamed Andrew holding back his tears . Andrew could take this no longer . He was just trying to find his way back to Uncle Jack . “ I just …I just wanna go home” Andrew sobbed .

“ I was ..just trying to find my way back…and I fell… I ..I just want to go home“ Andrew added while wiping off his tears

The other boy let out a loud sigh and almost an instant , the freezing temperature were gone . The temperature was normal . Andrew notice the other boy turns around and about to walk away from him.

“ w-where are you going ?” asked Andrew

“ None of your concern. You should go” said the boy

“ go where ?” asked Andrew almost innocently . For a moment , he swear he could see an anger wrinkles from on top of the light blonde boy .

“ You said you wanted to go home . I let you go, so scram off “ said the boy in annoyed tone

“ b-but I don’t know how ..” Andrew mumble

“ use the route you use to come here” said the boy

Andrew look through the medium sized hole that he just came from . He notice that the hole was rather new or rather it was form due to him but no matter how he wanted to climbed back up , the hole was just to slippery and vertical to be climbed .

“ I …I can’t … it’s too slippery ..” Andrew whimpered

“ none of my concern “ said the boy as walk away from him .

It has been an hour since Andrew arrived and yet the boy still haven’t manage to climbed back up . He also fell lots of time in attempt to climbing up the hole , injuring his knee.

“ what am I going to do ?” asked Andrew to himself as he slumped himself down to the ground

From far , Eren watched Andrew in his attempt to climb up the hole . He didn’t know why he didn’t have the will to kill him . He has known to be cold and a monster ever since he could remember . Killing a boy wont be a hard task would it ?

“ I just wanna go home “

Somehow , he couldn’t just ignore him . Letting out another sigh for the day , he decide to do something he could never dreamed of before .

Eren walked towards the orange blonde boy who happen buried his face on his knee , hugging them close .

“ Get yourself together “ said Eren which causes Andrew to look up .

Eren ignore Andrew’s stare , and continue his way to inspect the hole. His whole life spending there , he never ever seen this hole .

Andrew watched Eren in curiosity . “ what are you doing ?” he asked

“ Thinking of a way to get you out of here” said Eren

“ i..i thought you didn’t care ?” asked Andrew

“ you’re an eyesore and it annoys me” said Eren .

“ That’s not very polite ! “ said Andrew as he puff his cheeks

Eren ignore the boy and continue to inspect the hole . The hole was quite slippery with nothing to hold if they wanted to climbed their way out of it.

I could just conjure a stairs – thought Eren

“ Hey , what’s your name ?” asked Andrew which causes Eren to snapped out of his thought

“ You don’t have to know” said Eren coldly

“ but .. you knew my name …it’s only proper if you tell me yours .” said Andrew

“ and if I decide not to tell you my name ?” said Eren

“ meanie “ said Andrew pouting

Eren smirked at his reaction . Somehow he find his expression amusing and entertaining .

Eren decided that he has wasted much time . He needed to get the boy out of there before Pitch comes back or else Pitch will be the one that will kill the boy . Eren raise his hands towards the hole and was about to use his ice magic when a voice rang inside his head

You’re a monster !

 That’s right. He was a monster due to his power . His parents abandon him because of that . If he use his power infront of Adrew , wont that make him think that he is a monster too ? Why does he even care about what the other boy thought about him ? It shouldn’t be bothering him .

“ what are you doing ?” asked Andrew curiously

“ Getting you out of here” said Eren

“ Really? How ?” asked Andrew . His eyes shines in hope and excitement

Im already a monster . It doesn’t matter what he thinks . I just need to get him out of here . – thought Eren

With a move of his hand , Eren manage to conjure a stairs made of ice halfway through the hole . Andrew stared at the stairs in surprised .

Eren closed his eyes and wait for his reaction. He was waiting for his scream of fear or perhaps a shout claiming that he’s a monster that he thinks he is. What he didn’t expect was a squealed of excitement from the other boy .

“This is so cool ! You made stairs from ice !” squealed Andrew

“ Y-you’re not afraid of me ?” asked Eren as he was taken aback from Andrew’s reaction

“ No . Why should I ? You have ice power and it’s cool !” said Andrew as he marveled at the stairs he just conjure

“ You…don’t think I’m a monster ?” asked Eren

“ no.. you’re just like my uncle Jack ! he has ice powers too !” said Andrew

“ Uncle Jack ?” said Eren in cofused tone.

“ Yep. My uncle Jack ! oh ..  aunt Elsa also has the ice power too!” said Andrew grinning

Eren was surprised . All his life he thought he was the only one who has this power . To be told that someone else out there having the same power as him cause him to be curious .

He want to meet them.

why ? he didnt know for sure . Maybe he wanted to know how someone who has the same power as him live . How did they manage to live without being called a monster ? 

Perhaps he just didnt want to be alone. 

“ can I ask you something ?” said Eren which causes Andrew to tilt his head . “ If .. I help you get out of here , will I be able to meet this Uncle Jack of yours ? “ asked Eren

“ sure ! Uncle Jack is lots of fun ! You’ll love him” said Andrew

Eren didn’t know whether his decision to leave the lair and help Andrew to find his way back is right or wrong but his curiosity wins.

“ Eren..” said Eren

“ What ?” Andrew asked in confusion

“ You said you wanted to know my name . It’s Eren” said Eren as he walk up to the stairs .

“ Eren..”Andrew mumbled . somehow the name sounds so familiar to him . As if he had heard it before but Andrew decided it’s not worth the thought so he just throw the thought away and follow Eren behind as they climbed up the stairs .
