Lovers: Balcony

"Lifestyle of the rich and the famous, I ... am ... jealous!" Nino stood with his hands on his hips looking out at the skyline of Paris. It was currently dusk and the lights were beginning to light up the Paris streets ready for the evening goers to start their adventures.

"Nino, for god sake, get in here and help!" Alya dropped the box she was holding and advanced on her long time love. Sometimes she wondered if she'd actually ended up with a prison sentence, sure Nino was great, but he also pushed her boundaries to places she never knew existed. Such as right now as they were busy bringing in the boxes for Adrien's new pad. As Nino stood like a proud parent, the remaining three were layered in a film of sweat.

"I was just taking a break! I just bought up the biggest box in the van." He announced to his stormy eyed girlfriend.

"Oh, yes, of course! The one that contained the 'Ladybug' merchandise," she looked over at a hot and sweaty Adrien, "which I still find weird by the way, Agreste," before turning back on her boyfriend. "It barely weighs anything."

"It was an awkward box."

Marinette appeared in the doorway tripping over her own foot. Adrien's amazing reflexes sprung into action as he dived forward to catch her. Luckily the boxes didn't echo with a sound of smashing so she believed she what was inside was safe ... for now at least.

"Thank you my kind knight!"

"The pleasure is all mine Princess." Adrien winked at Marinette before removing the spilt boxes and taking them into the main section of the apartment.

Adrien had debated with having removers do everything, yet Nino, Adrien's lazy best friend, said the fun of moving is doing it with friends. He was quite sure the girls were ready to attack said best friend who was now taking pictures of the Parisian skyline.

"Tell me again just so I can embed it into my skull," Alya looked over to the world's clumsiest girl with a frown, "you are the heroine of Paris, yet you can't walk more than ten steps in a straight line."

Marinette blushed as Adrien laughed.

"Perfect isn't she?" He responded, walking over to the blushing bug and kissing her softly on the lips.

"It's not surprising she could keep it so well hidden though. That old dude chose very wisely." Nino had joined the others and began to move the kitchen boxes into the correct area of the wide open plan apartment. He couldn't help but feel disappointed Adrien was no longer a bachelor, this pad would deal with some epic parties. Not that he was a bachelor either, but if Adrien was who would he be to deny his best friend some whole hearted, male, fun.

"I still think he was on something." Plagg suddenly appeared out of the fridge, which of course was first to be stocked up ... with Camembert. He was met mid air by the red bug kwami, Tikki, who gave him a shove in the opposite direction. "What was that for, sugarcube?"

"You know exactly what it was for! They got there in the end, didn't they? It happened when it was meant to, no harm done!"

"We still have a lot to talk about. We need stories about how you two found out each other's identities, also I want to know who made the first move on whom? Also was it awkward? Oh, is this why that one week at school you both barely spoke? OMG ... You two have always loved each other without knowing! This is so romantic and stupid at the same time!"

Alya was word vomiting every question she'd ever had to ask Chat and Ladybug. This was just too good for her! This was actually amazing, they were there in the flesh. The two people she idolised were two people she loved. Life just didn't get better than this.

"We'll answer whatever questions you have later, but for now please calm down Alya." Adrien walked around the red head to place the last of the boxes in the correct area of his apartment. That was it he was finally moved in. He had freedom, he had a life to now live and, most of all, he had Marinette. Life may have been tough during his preteen years but now, well, if you asked him to describe it in a word he'd say JACKPOT!

The whole identity reveal to Alya and Nino went surprisingly well. Who would have thought Alya, of all people, would be too shocked to ask even one question. They'd made it out unscathed, and with two semi permanent Miraculous holders. After all, with the new threat, along with the development of Adrienette's relationship, the additional help and support would be greatly appreciated. Truth be told, Marinette was beginning to plan her own future. She wanted Adrien. She wanted them to be married, and she wanted children. Therefore, it only made sense to have a backup plan of other holders, and so far they were happy about it.

"I'm ordering pizza and then we can sit on the balcony. There is a meteor shower due tonight, and the pollution doesn't look too bad around the city, so we should get a good view." Adrien pulled out his phone and found the app for the local pizza company.

"You're such a dork." He felt small delicate arms wrap around his waist from behind and couldn't help the smile encroaching on his lips. Marinette made him feel so fuzzy inside, that every touch she placed on him sent sparks throughout his body. Who needs loads of material possessions and money when you can have one Marinette Dupain-Cheng? One ray of sunshine in his grey life.

"Harsh." He responded to her. Turning around as best as he could in her arms.

"But I love you so much." Her words sent shivers down his spine. Even after almost half a year dating he thought he'd never get over her whispering sweet nothings to him. Or being blatantly obvious about wanting him. That one took his blood level up to a whole new point.

"You two are gross!" Nino had made his way back inside and began to gather glasses together and the bottle of wine currently sat on the worktop in Adrien's new kitchen.

Alya, obviously happy her two ships were sailing, waved off her boyfriends remarks and looked at her two friends with clear devotion. This is how it should be. What she could see in front of her was true love, and she adored them both.

"I have a million questions to ask you both, so how about we take this wine outside to the balcony and we begin." Alya turned towards Adrien and Marinette who were still securely in their embrace. Her head positioned against his chest, snuggled in like a tiny kitten.

"None of what you hear goes on the blog. Do you understand?"

It wasn't very often that Adrien stood hard and firm on a situation. But his voice at the moment gave a deep warning to Alya. This was between friends. It was not to be broad cast out to the world. This was personal to them.

"Yes, yes! I get it." She responded.

"To the balcony?" Nino questioned.

"To the balcony." The fellow three responded.
