"Dear D̶i̶a̶r̶y̶ Journal, it's finally happening. I'm 16 years old now, and that means that I'm officially a man. In a few minutes, a lot of important people in the kingdom will be at my coming of age ceremony. I'm literally shaking with excitement as I'm writing this down! I'll be able to learn the more advanced spells, like that duplication one. And on top of that, I can finally ask Dad about going to that place, where Mom lived. It's a different dimension, with a planet called...E-arth? I think that's what it's called. He said that the people there look more like me than anyone around here. He showed me a few pictures of the place, and it looks pretty cool. Hope he says yes, guess I'll write again if he does. :D"

Bazzral, the lavender Oozai, teleported into the room in a pillar of light.

(Bazzral)"Young Lord, the ceremony is about to begin!"

(William)"Oh, I'll be down in a sec!"

He placed his diary under the bed and took his special outfit out the closet. It's a bit big, even for someone his size, so his hands weren't visible.

After getting it on, he took a look at himself I'm the mirror. He was 6,8, much taller than most Human teens, had pink skin, red eyes with white sclera, and short black hair.

Hairstyle:

William left the room, and ran down a hall of gray stone, with paintings of famous Oozai from decades past, and a long red carpet on the floor. Not too long, he reached the Royal Garden, a massive area that many would mistake for a small forest or park. Trees, flowers, and bushes of many colors were a sharp contrast to the dull gray brick the castle was made from, and in the center of the garden, there stood a fountain with a statue of Zai, his grandfather.

It's difficult to tell from this angle, but Zai, the first Oozai, as well as the first King, had four arms. The statue depicted him holding the lower pair behind his back.

(???)"William, there you are!"

Zoozai, William's father, floated towards him. If you weren't from the Oozai Realm, you would be surprised that the two had any blood relation at all.

(William)"Hey, Dad! Man, 16 years went by quick, huh?"

(Zoozai)"It certainly has. It feels like only yesterday you were but an infant, and look at you now: a fine young man!"

He placed two tendrils on both the hybrid's shoulders, causing a faint pink glow to radiate from his eyes.

(William)"C'mon Dad, it's nothing THAT serious."

(Zoozai)"Nonsense! The transition from boy to man is one of the most important occasions an Oozai has to look forward to! You should've seen your brother's ceremony, he was ecstatic!"

(William)"Speaking of which, where is Zacharie? I didn't see him this morning."

(Zoozai)"Oh, he must still be with that little girlfriend of his. Those two, I swear......heh."

(William)"What?"

(Zoozai)"The thought just occurred to me, now that you're a man...you'll soon be looking for a partner of your own. Then...the two of you may make me a grandfather one day!"

The boy's eye's glew pink again, this time brighter.

(William)"D-Dad, don't be silly! I JUST became 16, this isn't something I could just do overnight!"

(Zoozai)"Oh, I'm just teasing, son!/Maybe."

Despite having no fingers, he pinched the left side of William's face.

(William)*Pouting*"Dad..."

(???)"Yo, William!"

To their right, a red portal with a white border opened up, and a tall, pink Oozai stepped through just as it closed up. He was a foot taller than William, and had black sclera with white pinpricks, the normal color that common Oozai possess.

(Zoozai)"There you are, you had me thinking you wouldn't show up at all!"

(Zacharie)"Hey, I wouldn't miss my baby bro's birthday for the freaking universe!"

He Pat has younger brother's back three times, a little bit too hard, almost knocking the Prince over.

(William)"Zach, you know I'm not a kid anymore!"

(Zacharie)"Right, right, you're *Mimicking William's voice* 'A big strong man, who's gonna learn the super cool spells and be the best in the world!' I remember you used to say that when you were 7!"

(William)"W-Well now it's finally gonna happen!"

(Zoozai)"Then you two better get into place, the ceremony is about to begin."

The two brothers made there way to the center of the garden, where a large stage was put up, and nearly 200 seats were placed in front. Each seat was occupied by an Oozai nobleman, and a few had a Deku trying to get on them without the use of legs. The Deku are a race of wooden beings with incredible abilities over nature itself, and have a small but strong kingdom in a swamp right next to the Oozai Kingdom. In the front seat on the far left was Dan, or Daniel, Prince of the Deku Kingdom, as well as William's best friend. He was very small, like a child, although he and William were the same age, and had a creepy look in his eyes.

(Yep, new design. The last one looked like a banana.)

On the stage, there were only a handful of Oozai. Two Royal Guardsmen, Imor, the Oozai General, and Father Pincher. He was the priest of the kingdom's church, where they practice a religion that originated from Earth. Pincher wore a black robe with a white scarf not around his neck, but on the back of it allowing the two long ends touching the ground, and a gold cross necklace. His skin was as white as snow, the same black eyes as Zacharie, and instead of pointed horns, they were rounded. This type of horn shape was comically dubbed "head lumps". He was also a special type of Oozai, an Elemental. He could use beams an orbs of light as a weapon, and could even become it.

Royal Guard:

(Pincher)"My I have everyone's attention?"

Everyone went silent, as William, Zacharie, and Zoozai stepped onto the stage.

(Pincher)"Friends, we have been brought here today to celebrate the sixteenth birthday of the Prince William Zai."

He opened a large book, written entirely in Oozai. Everyone could see that there was two large holes in the palms of his hands.

(Pincher)"In the beginning, there was the Heart. Our Lord has placed this gift in an empty space, and it gave us life, as well as this world. Zai, the very first Oozai in existence, led our race to centuries of peace and prosperity. Unfortunately, many dark and corrupted hearts have attempted to take the Heart for themselves, and use its limitless power for greedy purposes."

(Pincher)"But, no matter what hardships we have face, no matter how painful, we have all stayed determined. And if we never back down and face ever obstacles head-on, and believe in whatever God has in store for us, we will find true peace. Now..."

He turned to William, who stepped up and placed his hand on the book.

(Pincher)"Prince William Zai, I shall recite the Oath of Oozai in our native tongue, and you shall say the same in English. Are you ready to take the oath?"

(William)"Yes, I am ready."

(Pincher)"Then we shall begin. With your right hand on the book, place your left on your soul."

Doing so, everyone but the Deku could see a big magenta heart appear on the boy's chest.

(Pincher)"Voknau dii zin Zu'u dreh vaat midrot wah dii joriin..."

(William)"Upon my honor I do swear loyalty to my people..."

(Pincher)"Voth wuth suleyk, fos dii ragnavir vorohah eruvos vod, Zu'u fent ni brah niin voth vokul sukaat..."

(William)"With the old powers, which my family made years ago, I shall not use them with evil intention..."

(Pincher)"Ahrk fod Zu'u meyz borii Jun, Zu'u fent kos nunon ol, waan ni pruz wey gein us zey..."

(William)"And when I become the next King, I shall be just as, if not better than the ones before me..."

(Pincher)"Lingrah lahney faal Oozai, lingrah laas faal Hil!"

(William)"Long live the Oozai, long life the Heart!"

(Pincher)"Now, for the final part of the ceremony..."

A green Oozai, wearing similar garments as Pincher without the scarf, handed him a small goblet of pitch black liquid.

(Pincher)"Now, you must drink the contents without stopping, then you'll be able to reach your true potential."

William took the cup, and began to drink. The dark liquid was bitter, and slightly burned going down his throat. But even so, he drank every last drop without taking a breath. Once the strange beverage arrived to his stomach, he felt different, like he just received an influx of energy that was locked away in his gut.

(Pincher)"Do you feel any different, child?"

(William)"Uh...yeah, I do."

(Pincher)"Then...let the celebration of your adulthood begin!"

At that moment, some music began to play, and everyone got out of their chairs and began to sing, dance, or help themselves to buffet table on the right of the stage and chair arrangement.

(Pincher)"Oh, and here is this."

He gave the boy a black scroll with a list of magic spells written in Oozai symbols. There were at least 30 techniques written down, but the young man expected there to be more, especially from the strongest Oozai of all.

(William)"Wow, it's...smaller than I thought."

(Pincher)"Zai didn't have that much imagination."

(William)"Oh."

The general Imor, wearing a suit of gray armor, wrapped his arm around William's neck, nearly chocking the hybrid.

(Imor)"Isn't this great!? You're finally a grown man, able to do anything you want. This kinda reminds me of these shows I watch!"

(William)"Th-That's nice, but...could you let go? I'm the only Oozai who can suffocate."

(Imor)"Oh, sorry!"

He let go, allowing William to get some air back in his lungs.

(Zoozai)"So, how does it feel to become a true Oozai, son?"

(William)"Oh, it's all cool and stuff, but...can I talk to you about something?"

(Zoozai)"Well of course, is something troubling you?"

(William)"No, but it's kinda important."

(Zoozai)"Ok then..."

The two sat down at a small round table behind the fountain, where nobody could eavesdrop on them.

(Zoozai)"So what is it that's on your mind?"

(William)"Let's see here...you know that place, where Mom used to live?"

(Zoozai)"You mean the planet Earth?"

(William)"Yeah, well I was thinking. Now that I'm 16, I was sorta wondering if I could, you know, live there for a while?"

(Zoozai)"Live there?"

(William)"Think about it. I've learned virtually everything there is to know about my Oozai side, but almost nothing of my Human side!"

(Zoozai)"Hm, I haven't really thought of that..."

(William)"The only thing I have of my mother are those old pictures of her you keep around, and I'm always curious about what other Humans are like. What do they like? What do they learn? What holidays do they celebrate? I really want to know about Earth, Dad. And going there for maybe a year or two would be the ideal method of doing that!"

(Zoozai)"You do make a good point, and I don't see why not."

(William)"Wait, really?"

(Zoozai)"Yes, of course. You ARE a man, now."

(William)"S-So I can go?!"

(Zoozai)"That's what I just said!"

(William)"Oh, thanks you Dad! I can't tell you how happy I am right now!"

His eyes now began to glow a warm green hue.

(Meanwhile)

Somewhere in the Oozai Realm, in an endless blizzard, deep in the tallest mountain, there was but a single large chamber. In this chamber, there lived a figure with pink skin, long messy hair, and black empty eye sockets.

This man was chained to the middle of the room, suspended 5 feet off the ground. On the base of the four chains, there was a magical seal, ensuring they wouldn't snap due to age.

(???)"......It's him, isn't it? He's the one I'm looking for. Just a little bit longer now, and I'll leave this wretched prison. And when that happens, I'll finish what I started so many years ago..."

(???)"I promise you, if my name isn't...Lokaal."
