William got accustomed to school life quick, new every single student and staff member's name and face by heart. His magic abilities made him quite popular with everyone. They would say things like, "William's the best!", "I never thought he'd be a magician!", and, "I wonder if his pink skin's actually real?"

There was still that one girl who didn't seem to appreciate his very existence, but he always thought to himself, "She'll come around!" Today, school was just finishing up for the week, and everyone was getting their things ready to go.

(William)"So Marc, you still feeling alright after that altercation last week?"

(Marco)"Think so, it felt really weird having your body sprawled all over the ground like a broken action figure."

(William)"That was scary though, how this Gohma guy could attack from anywhere."

(Marco)"Hope we won't be targeted like that aga....."

(William)"Uh, Marco? You okay?"

(Marco)"J-J-J-Jackie..."

The Oozai brought his attention to where Marco was looking, and say a girl with a seashell necklace, and a green streak in her hair.

(William)"Hm, Jackie? What about her?"

(Marco)"Well...I don't tell people this, but...I like her."

(William)"Like her? What's wrong with liking someone?"

(Marco)"I just can't find the courage to ask her out! Every time I see her, I just...just can't do anything!"

(William)"Oh, come on! It can't be that hard. I've seen people ask those they like on dates all the time!"

(Marco)"Have you?"

(William)"Well, no. I haven't asked someone on a date before, but it shouldn't be too hard!"

(Marco)"And how would you know?"

(William)"...I know! I'll go ask Jackie out, and show you how easy it is to do it!"

(Marco)"Wait, what?!"

(William)"Just watch me!"

Confidently, he walked towards the girl, much to Diaz's dismay.

(William)"Yo, Jac-kay!"

(Jackie)"Oh, hey Will. What's up?"

(William)"Nothing much, just wondering if you were doing anything tomorrow."

(Jackie)"Not really. What, you got something in mind?"

(William)"Actually, that's what I was gonna ask you. How'd you like to hang out with me Saturday? Ever since I've been here, I haven't actually socialized proper with anyone else but Marco, since we do live right next to each other."

(Jackie)"Sure, that'd be cool. When and where do you wanna meet up?"

(William)"At my place at say...1 o'clock? I'll have some food prepared! It's a Oozai act of kindness to make food for their new friends."

(Jackie)"That sounds great, see you then!"

She got her things from the locker and left.

(William)"See, Marco? It's that easy, even for a first-timer!"

(Marco)"...What did you just do?!"

(William)"What do you mea-?"

(Marco)*Violently shaking him* "YOU JUST ASKED HER OUT ON A DATE!!!"

(William)"Oh, I did?!"

(Marco)"Yes, you did! That wasn't part of the plan!"

(William)"Oh gee, I'm really sorry, I was asking if she wanted to hang out, and I guess I forgot this was supposed to be an example."

(Marco)"She's going to your house, YOUR HOUSE!"

(William)"I'm sorry, but what do you want me to do?!"

(Marco)"Tell her you changed your mind!"

(William)"Well now I can't do that right out of the blue, it might hurt her feelings!"

(Marco)"Then what might happen if she falls in love with you, huh?!"

(William)"Hey now, I don't even like Jackie that kind of way! Now Marco, she just agreed on hanging out tomorrow, it's nothing more than that. I'm sure she won't think of it in any other way, and it'll be over, alright? Just trust me on this."

(Marco)"...Ok, but I'll know if anything happens."

(William)"No duh, your house is literally next to mine."

The next day, William had a pot of boiling water on the stove, and another filled with hand-made spaghetti sauce. Whilst cooking, William held up his cellphone to his head with a levitation spell.

(William)"You still worried, Marc? I already told you, we're just hanging out!"

(Marco)"I know, but seriously, be careful."

(William)"Don't worry, I'm not gonna steal your crush!"

(Marco)"Wh-What the-ugh, whatever! Just tell me how it goes!"

He hung up, and the hybrid resumed cooking. Some time later, he heard a knock on the door, and you can guess who it was.

(William)"Hey, Jackie, welcome to my humble abode!"

(Jackie)"Yeah, it's definitely...unique. Oh, and I like your dog."

(William)"Thanks! Come on in, make yourself at home, the food's just about done!"

DATING START!!!

Stepping inside, she could see that the inside was somehow bigger than the outside. The living room and kitchen where in the shape of half circles, the first room had blue carpeting, and the stairs going up spiraled around. On the wall, there hung several pictures of William, Zacharie, and Zoozai.

(Jackie)"Are these people your family?"

(William)"Yeah, I DEFINITELY take my looks from my mom's side, huh?"

(Jackie)"I don't see any of her, though."

(William)"Yeah, my Dad had one of her, but it apparently got ruined after and argument with my uncle, he got real upset about it."

(Jackie)"Oh, sorry to hear that. Guess every family has those kinds of issues."

(William)"He did forgive him, and vice versa, but they haven't spoken to each other since...as long as I can remember. He does send gifts on me and my brother's birthdays, though! He took up a knack for painting and sculpting."

He pointed at a section of paintings similar in style to famous artist. Picasso, Vincent Van Gogh, Leonardo da Vinci, all of them almost identical, but of course with Oozai instead of Humans. The biggest one was a portrait of Zai, which was so detailed, you would think it was a picture from the best high quality camera money can buy.

She then brought her attention to the small bookshelf under it. There were three rows of five books, with each row having the same color: top-white, middle-red, and bottom-blue. Jackie took the first book of the middle row and read out, "History of the Oozai Realm: Vol. 1/5". She was immediately interested, and sat on the couch, reading it intently. William poked his head out from the kitchen after hearing her read the first paragraph.

(William)"You like history?"

(Jackie)"Heck yeah! Most people think I'm just a girl with a skateboard, and there's this one guy who thinks I'm a mermaid."

(William)"A mermaid, you're serious?"

(Jackie)"Because of this necklace or something, I don't really know."

(William)"Oh. Anyway, got two hot plates of pasta coming up!"

He came out with two servings of spaghetti, with two cups of tea.

(That's how I enjoy pasta.)

(Jackie)"Hm...is there red peppers in this?"

(William)"Oh, yeah. I kinda forgot that I was cooking for a friend, so I just made my favorite. If you can't eat it, I have something else in their."

(Jackie)"Oh no, I actually love spicy food, it's only one of the best things in the world!"

She put some on her fork, and her face beamed with satisfaction as the pasta made contact with her tongue. After a few minutes, she had already cleaned her plate, while William wasn't even halfway through

(Jackie)"Wow, this was pretty freaking good!"

(William)"Huh, so we both like history and spicy food. Ain't that a coincidence?"

(Jackie)"Like we were destined to meet each other or something, hehe!"

He suddenly got the feeling that a certain Diaz was somehow watching him, even though the only windows are on the second floor. So in order to shut down anything going the wrong direction, he turned on the TV, which displayed a robotic Oozai with gauges for eyes.

(As you can see, I can't make the same sized limb for shit!)

He was sitting in a large pink chair, and holding a cup of coffee that was physically impossible for him to drink.

(William)"Oh! My favorite show's on!"

(Jackie)"Who's that?"

(William)"He's Renintah, a robot who's got a living soul! He's also the most popular guy the Oozai Realm, hosting the news, cooking shows, and he's directed over 200 movies!"

(Jackie)"Sounds like your world's pretty interesting!"

(Renintah)"Hello, everyone! And welcome to another fantastic episode of...!"

The words, "Music with Renintah" appeared over his head, accompanied by pink sparkles framing it.

(Renintah)"As many of you have heard, Prince William Zai has moved to the planet Earth, though apparently other dimensions seem to be mistaken, as they refer to the entire realm, which is not the case. But that's not important! We Oozai have looked into this planet, and have found hundreds of wonderful forms of music, so here's some lovely jazz numbers!"

(Jackie)"Dude, you sure there wasn't some other reason you wanted to hang out?"

(William)"Uh, what do you mean?"

(Jackie)"You make my favorite type of food, you have a whole set of history books, you even got my favorite type of music! There's no way all this isn't by chance..."

It actually was, as William just realized that he was wearing a jacket in his house. He took it off, and Jackie noticed that he had these black snake-like marks on both arms starting from his shoulder, down to his wrist.

(Jackie)"You have tattoos? Never saw you as the type of person!"

(William)"Oh, these? I didn't actually get them through normal means, they just appeared when I was still young. Don't ask me how, Dad said they were magic or something."

(Jackie)"Now way!"

She grabbed his bicep where the snake tattoo's head was, thinking it was body paint, or even a sticker, but sure enough, it was real. But for some reason, even though she was convinced, Jackie just...kept feeling William's toned arm. This caused his eyes to glow even brighter.

(William)"J-Jackie? You...you done yet?"

(Jackie)"Whoa...do you work out?"

(William)"Y-Yeah, sometimes!"

(Jackie)"Dude, you're freaking ripped!"

(William)"Oh God, I can already hear Marco screaming bloody murder! What am I gonna do?! If Jackie falls for me, our friendship's good as gone!"

And if it couldn't get any worse, a faint "purrrr~" could be heard.

(William)"...Why?"

(Jackie)"Huh, do you have a cat, too?"

(William)"No...that was me..."

(Jackie)"Oh my God..."

(William)"What...?"

(Jackie)"...You're freaking adorable!"

He swung both arms up as he threw himself onto the floor, his cheeks bearing a faint black hue.

(Jackie)"Are you okay?!"

(William)"Yes, but I feel terrible! I've failed my friend, and stole his would-be girlfriend!"

(Jackie)"Wait, what? What are you talking about?"

(William)"Jackie, whatever you may be thinking, this wasn't meant to be a date, just two friends hanging out. Marco's the one who wants to date you!"

(Jackie)"Marco? Then, why did you ask me to come here?"

(William)"I was trying to show him how easy it is, but I guess I forgot it was just an example. I didn't cancel it because I didn't want to make you think I don't like you. I do, of course! Just, y'know, not in a romantic way."

(Jackie)"Oh..."

(William)"I knew it, I played with your feelings like a fiddle! I'M SUCH A HORRIBLE PERSON!!!"

He grabbed a pillow from the couch and screamed into it. After the third scream, he felt Jackie place a hand on his shoulder.

(Jackie)"Listen Will, I'm not mad, or upset."

(William)"Y-You're not?"

(Jackie)"Nah, I like you too, but as a friend."

(William)"Really?"

(Jackie)"Yeah! I mean, you're cool and all, but I never got that...feeling, y'know?"

(William)"Then why'd you say I'm adorable?"

(Jackie)" 'Cause you purr like a freaking cat! Who wouldn't think that's cute?!"

(William)"W-Well you have a point there!"

(Jackie)"So anyway...Marco has a thing for me?"

(William)"That's what he told me."

(Jackie)"Hm, that explains why he acts so weird whenever I see him."

(Later that Night)

"Dear D̶i̶a̶ Journal, today I learned that you need to be careful on how you ask others if they want to hang out. Earlier today, I accidentally went on a date with Jackie Lynn Thomas, a cool girl who Marco likes. We were able to get things settled, and we're all still friends! Anyway, Riivrax talked to Dad about this Gohma, and agreed to use everything in his power to help turn him in. I hope we can find him soon, his power kinda scares me."
