(Zoozai's Castle: Dr. Proton's Office)

Crona shut their eyes tight after the cyan Oozai checked them with a little flashlight, for the fifth time. As soon as they got to the Oozai Realm, Proton had insisted that her perform a full-on check-up down to their sweat to their Black Blood. This was something the doctor was known for by all, as well as feared. Not only was the one of the few Oozai who're still around since the very beginning (uses medicine to keep himself healthier than physically possible), but Proton was highly considered to be the smartest, even more than the first King himself.

What makes him scary to others, is that if he finds something new and interesting enough, he won't go a day without trying to learn every little detail down to the very atoms of their being. He once dissected an endangered species of bird, claiming that he could not bare losing biological information on it when it would eventually go extinct. He later used his research on the bird to completely repopulate its kind throughout the Realm, keeping the Do Do Bird species alive and well despite what Humans think.

(Crona)"A-Are we done yet? My eyes are starting to hurt..."

(Proton)"Yeah, pretty much. Just a couple of questions on that special blood you have. When it hardens to protect you from fatal damage, does it hurt in any way? It literally stops moving for a moment."

(Crona)"Not really...no?"

(Proton)"Uh huh, and about that Erik guy. Since you two are fused together, does anything he eats go to you? If not, it would explain your frail appearance."

(Erik)"I ate a squirrel once, nothing came from it afterwards."

(Proton)"...Ok, we're done here. You can go do...whatever it is Cronas do."

(Crona)"O-Ok!"

(Proton)"Wow, Gorgon. REALLY earned that Mother of the Year award."

The confused, socially awkward Crona left Proton's Office, and immediately bumped into Riivrax.

(Riivrax)"Oh, excuse me! Are you alright?"

(Crona)"I'm fine, just wasn't paying attention!"

(Riivrax)"Don't worry about that, uh... Sorry if this sounds rude but, are you a boy, or a girl? I honestly cannot tell."

(Crona)"I...I don't think I'm either. There's nothing, you know...there..."

(Riivrax)"Ah... W-Well anyway! I was wondering if we could have a little chat. About your mother, Medusa Gorgon."

(Crona)"Ok...but I don't actually know that much about her to be honest."

(Riivrax)"That's what I expected, my intention was to tell you what the Riivrax Foundation has learned about her."

(Crona)"O-Oh?"

(Riivrax)"Come with me, I got a friend who'll help explain waiting for us."

The two left the castle, and made their way to a large brick building with the word "Flambo's" in neon lights above the entrance. Inside, Oozai, Booznians, Deku and a few animal humanoids sat around, eating and conversing amongst themselves.

(Crona)"I-I'm not really sure how to deal with such a crowded place!"

(Riivrax)"Don't worry, everyone here keeps to themselves, as long as you don't talk to them. He's sitting in the back, so nobody should be able to hear us."

They sat down in a booth in the corner, where a cylindrical lavender Oozai with two things horns pointing downward, and wearing a warm purple outfit.

(Riivrax)"Crona, this is Kunmaar, my right-hand man. Whenever I need help gathering information, he's around to help."

(Crona)"Hello......"

(Kunmaar)"Hey. So you're Gorgon's other kid?"

(Riivrax)"Kunmaar here has this special ability, it's called Spirit Photography."

(Most Oozai are like fucking Stands, don't ask why.)

(Crona)"Wh-What does that mean?"

(Kunmaar)"If I think about what I'm currently looking for, I can create a picture of it through anything that projects images. Like..."

He placed an old looking camera on the table.

(Kunmaar)"This little doodad here. Right now, I'm thinking about Medusa, so if I do this..."

His left hand suddenly grew purple vines, and he lightly tapped the camera on its button.

In a moment, a photo emerged the bottom, and he dramatically ripped it out.

(Kunmaar)"Now watch closely! In a few seconds, it'll show the face of your mother."

The Oozai handed the photo to Crona, and a woman with brown hair slowly faded in. At that moment, Erik popped out in surprise from this ability.

(Erik)"Huh?! It's...it's her! Down to last detail!"

(Kunmaar)"And I had no idea what she looked like until now. But that's not all, I'm going to think of the rest of her family before you and William."

He tapped the camera once more, creating two more photos of strange looking women.

(Kunmaar)"These are your mother's younger and older sisters, Shaula and Arachne Gorgon. The younger one is actually dead, so Arachne is the only one left."

(Riivrax)"Up until now, Zoozai didn't even know about the Gorgon Sisters, but with a little searching on Earth, we found out a whole eight hundred years worth of rich history, and more."

(Erik)"I hardly knew about them, just that they were Medusa's family and they were strong as shit!"

(Riivrax)"Strong they were indeed, they could give Zoozai a run for his money. These sisters were apparently three of the strongest, most dangerous Witches in the world, and were enemies with an organization known as DWMA, lead by Death."

(Kunmaar)"And that's not just a cool title, we're talking about the Grim Reaper himself, a Death God. He's got his own city in Nevada. And get this, he's almost as powerful as Zai himself!"

Everyone in the restaurant stopped what they were doing and looked at the group, but with a stern, "The fuck you lookin' at?!", they all turned away.

(Riivrax)"...By almost, we mean at least by 64%, his Soul Power completely envelops his city. He and his forces battled the sisters eight hundred years ago, and Medusa escaped through a Dimensionsal Tear, where she hid from Death, and hid her true nature."

(For those who don't know, Death is this freaking goober.)

(Riivrax)"We've actually contacted him, and he confirmed what we just told you."

(Kunmaar)"He's also got a boy of his own, acts like that Zacharie."

(Crona)"Um, I-I have a question. If you can do that, then why haven't you used your power to find Gohma?"

(Kunmaar)"Think I haven't tried? I just keep getting blank pieces of paper, so he must have some sort of ward of protection where he's currently hiding. What's the other question?"

(Crona)"Riivrax said that Medusa and the others were dangerous, d-does that mean their...evil?"

(Riivrax)"Yes, they were all very bad people, but the eldest sister hasn't been doing anything for quite some time. So she may have turned over a new leaf."

(Kunmaar)"But it also explains something I was wondering about. How old are you, kid?"

(Crona)"N-Nineteen..."

(Kunmaar)"Mmhm...just as we thought."

(Riivrax)"It wasn't a previous marriage after all, you were actually born through an affair."

(Crona)"Wh-What?!"

(Riivrax)"Yes, it's not easy to find out, but it's the truth. We had originally believed you just look young and were a few hundred years old, but no. You were born two years before the conception of William, so that tells us she wasn't around for a while to have you, and inject Erik into your body."

(Erik)"Strange, she never said anything about Oozai before. How'd she even leave this place?"

(Kunmaar)"Most likely from another Tear, or even an enchanted pair of those weird scissors Zach's lady friend makes."

(Crona)"Wow.... I'm not sure how to deal with this..."

(Riivrax)"I'm sorry if this ruined the image of what you thought Medusa was, I just felt the need to let you know."

(Crona)"It's not really that bad, b-but does da- I-I mean-! Does Zoozai know...?"

(Riivrax)"I told him about it, yes. He actually took it rather well, like he already knew, and just wanted to confirm his suspicion."

(Kunmaar)"But even with the knowledge that she was evil, he still appears to love her the same as before! Zoozai's a weird man, especially now that he's older."

(Zoozai's around 1,162 years old, and Koozai's 1,160. Zacharie is 624. Hey, I said that Oozai live a long time, didn't I?)

(Erik)"Well at least he ain't a blubbering mess, I hate watching old people cry! I bet Ragnarok would like to see that though, he's a jerk."

(Kunmaar)"That reminds me. The Riivrax Foundation has actually found Medusa's old home on Earth, and discovered some research notes on the Black Blood she made. It can apparently induce temporary insanity, that true?"

(Erik)"Oh yeah, it happened a couple times when I reawakened!"

(Riivrax)"That's what bothers us, what will happen when Ragnarok wakes up within William? Will he go on a rampage and end up killing someone? He's strongly against that, even if it's on accident."

(Crona)"Y-Yes, he might attack whoever's around him. H-He just has to sync up his soul with Ragnarok's, and he'll be fine again, though!"

(Riivrax)"Hm...well that kind of eases my concern. I'm not sure what to do if he went against his morals..."

A man composed of an orange flame walked over to the both, just staring at them for a few seconds.

(Flambo)"............At least order something if you want to sit here."
