There was nobody. The town was in almost perfect silence. Star couldn't find anyone, and her Dimensional Scissors weren't working. She walked in the middle of the road to the house, with only sound being each of her steps.

(Star)"Where is everybody? It's like they all just vanished."

Suddenly, the bright day abruptly switched to a pitch black night. Star then gained a strong sense of paranoia, like there was something in the shadows, watching her.

(Star)"H-Hello...? Is...is anyone there?"

(???)"Sssssssssstarrrrrr....."

That voice sounded like a drowning man. The Mewman turned around,and what she saw made her scream. It was Toffee, but he was missing the lower half of his body, his skin was dark green, and melting. His left eye was flattened, she could see right into his skull.

(Star)"Toffee!?"

(Toffee)"H-Help...meeeeee...."

He tried to reach out to Star, but she kicked his head, which flew off, then ran in the opposite direction as fast as she possibly could.

(Star)"What's going on?! Why does Toffee look like that!? What am I supposed to d-"

Her thoughts were cut off, as she bumped into a unknown figure. They were taller than her, she was the height of their feet up to their shoulders. With the street light, she could see that they had pink skin. It was William.

(Omega)"She's a bit shorter than William."

She was relieved, crying tears of joy as she hugged him from behind.

(Star)"William! Thank goodness, I thought there was no one else here!"

He said nothing.

(Star)"Uh, William?"

(Duin)"I'm afraid he's no longer with us."

Duin was in the sky, sitting on a throne made of skulls.

(Star)"Duin?! What are you talking about? What did you do?!"

(Duin)"I used the magic so politely provided by the blue imp to take control of William's body. I then used him to wipe out the others, and I now have the Heart of Oozai."

(Star)"W-Wipe out...?"

(Duin)"You're old enough to understand."

(Star)"Even...?"

(Duin)"Your family? Yes, all of them."

(Star)"H-How could you?! They were my family, my friends!"

(Duin)"Then you know how I felt when Spades was taken away from me. Now, it's time to finish what I started. William, destroy this Mewman."

William's body began to "glitch". Parts of his body changed color for a moment, then his soul appeared, cracked and leaking a bright red substance. His hair fell off, his legs disappeared, and his skin changed from pink to gray. Two tendrils sprouted from his back, and attached to something in the sky to support his new form. He was now 20 feet tall, and he had random cracks on his body.

He created several magic orbs, throwing them at Star. She had trouble avoiding them, and the hybrid's hands morphed into giant blocks, trying to crush her.

(Star)"William, get a hold of yourself! This isn't what you are!"

(William)"Close to me..."

She didn't understand, but her confusion was explained as the ground turned white, exept for a circle under William. She ran towards it, just as the white ground erupted magic spikes. William suddenly turned back into his normal self, with some type of steam coming off of his body.

(William)"I'm...s-so...sorry...."

He reached out to her, but Duin pointed his staff at him, and he transformed into the abomination again.

He repeated the same three attacks about four times, while constantly saying at the end,

(William)"Close to me...close to me....close to me...close to me..."

This was more than what Star could handle. She now had bruises on her face and arms, her clothes were slightly torn and burned, and she was bleeding from her right leg from a magic spike she couldn't get away from in time.

(Star)"P-Please...stop this, Duin..."

(Duin)"Why should I? What will you go back to if you survive today? There's nothing left in any of these pitiful worlds, so this is really an act of kindness."

The Mewman fell to the ground, she had no strength left to stand anymore.

(Duin)"So  it's time to end the final act of this play? William, do it."

William raised his right arm, and brought it down on her.

(Duin)"And with that, my vengeance...has finally be-"

A yellow energy suddenly exploded from William's hand, then a entity with six arms flew into the air.

(Duin)"What is this!? The girl...did she change into that?"

(Star)"It's time to say goodbye, Duin!"

With this newfound power, she shot the staff out of Duin's hand, then threw him into multiple buildings. He now had cracks all over his body, blood rushing out of each one.

(Duin)"N-No! You can't be able to do this! I'm supposed to win! YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE KILLED!!!"

He summoned an Oozai Cannon, and fired it in Star's direction.

(Star)"Not this time!"

She fired an orange blast that was ten times bigger than his, and it engulfed him, leaving no trace left. William let out a pained scream, as his body shrunk, and returned to normal.

(Star)"William, are you okay!?"

(William)"I...."

(Star)"You what?"

(William)"I...hehehehehehehehe."

His arms stretched out and wrapped around Star. He brought his face up, his eyes were red with green irises.

(Omega)"I'VE NEVER FELT BETTER!"

(Zacharie)"Star!"

She woke up, she was her normal self. All of what she just went through was a dream...but it felt all too real.

(Star)"Huh? Zach, what are you doing here?"

(Zacharie)"I was about to tell you something important, but now I have a new question. Why are you in William's bed?"

(Star)"...I was...keeping it warm?"

(Zacharie)"Okayyy. But anyways, Williams waking up today."

(Star)"Wait, really?! Are you serious?!"

She grabbed his shirt, shaking him back and forth.

(Zacharie)"Yes! I wouldn't lie about this!"

(Star)"Then let's go!"

She took the Dimensional Scissors off of the table next to the bed, and jumped into the portal.

(Zacharie)"Brother, you got a wild one on your hands...I'm so proud!"
