Grand Chariot VS The Grim Reaper
"I couldn't say this back at the palace, but you sure have it rough. If you ever need to talk, I'll listen." Tatsumi stopped and thanked Wave. "But I should be ok." Tatsumi answered. "I'm used to this kind of treatment."
"I kinda know what you mean." I think Wave and Tatsumi forgot I'm here. "In fact, I feel like we're pretty similar."
"Similar? How so?" Tatsumi asked.
"Well, uh.... How should I put this? I feel like we've dealt with the same kinds of problems. Or that we will in the future." I started to begin to feel a bit of dark aura around those two.
"Uh, yeah, I understand. I know just what you mean. Say no more." Tatsumi stuttered.
"Anyways, since we're so similar, I'm sure we'll get along-"
"You guys realise that I'm still here right?" They both slightly jumped and I let out a sigh and face palmed myself. "Say or think about anything you hate about me and I will send you to hell. I'm not the girl you think I was anymore, Tatsumi. I still wasn't able to say than-"
"Tatsumi?" I looked up seeing Tatsumi faced us taking out his sword. "Huh?" I slowly took out my sword as well just in case. He dashed at Wave so I quickly jumped in front of him as my sword turned into a shield.
"Watch out!" Tatsumi yelled as he dashed at a Danger Beast and sliced it in half. I let out a sigh of relief. I thought Tatsumi was trying to kill us. I turned around seeing a huge tree-like monster with one eye.
"Thanks, we owe ya one!" I smiled. But my smile turned into a frown. "I let my guard down. Sorry!"
"Don't mention it!" Tatsumi replied. "Not everyone can notice if an enemy is nearby or not." In lightning speed I was able to destroy that monster in one slice. But then another whole bunch of em started coming.
"It never rains but it pours huh? Too bad you guys aren't edible like sea beast."
"We'll take care of this in no time!" We all dashed at the enemy and finished them off with ease. "Oh, was that it? Looks like you're done over there too. Tatsu... mi?" Don't tell me...
"HOW DARE HE ESCAPE ON MY WATCH!" I yelled. "This is all your fault Wave!" I slapped Wave across the face.
"My fault?" He cried. "How is this my fault? This is bad! I get how he feels, but I can't let you go! I don't wanna die either, you know?!" I face palmed myself again.
"Seriously, you just realised?" I sighed.
"Guess I have no choice."
"What are you talking about?" I sighed again. He stabbed his sword into the ground as it started a small earthquake. He yelled out,"Grand Chariot!" "No freaking way!" I squeled. "This is the first time I've ever seen a Grand Chariot!" I jumped full of excitement.
"Oh, a fan girl, are you?" He laughed.
"Nope, I just wanna see what it'd be like to use it!" I placed my sword back in it's sheath and placed my hand on Wave's shoulder. "Maybe next time though!"
"Try to keep up!" He dashed ahead. I let out a little giggle. "Don't think little of me!" I spoke to myself. My sword formed a reddish-black aura around me as it changed my race. A Grim Reaper.
When I caught up to Wave I saw that he had found something. A member of Night Raid. But.... I remember, this was Tatsumi's friend. I jumped in between their conversation. "Hey, you're not gonna hog all the fun to yourself would you? Nice to meet you again Bulat. I thought you died but I guess I was wrong. This time you're gonna get a death a bit more painful then I planned. Wave, step aside please. Go find Tatsumi while I deal with this creep." Wave didn't run away but Bulat did. "See what you did? You made him escape."
"What's wrong with your voice? It's so quiet and creepy as hell-" I jumped off the ground further than Tatsumi and twisted my Scythe a few times and kicked Incursio back onto the ground. I landed back on the ground safely and walked towards the huge Incursio-shaped hole. "I won't let you escape", I smiled. I attempted to drop my blade on his face but he rolled over dodging my attack. He stood up and dodged every single attack I tried. "Stop! I have no reason to fight you!" He yelled. "You might not but I do." I was acting swiftly so I tripped him over with my right foot and kicked him into the huge boulder. "Loads of reasons!" I smiled licking the blood off my hand. "You're just evil, and evil is the thing that must die in this world!"
"You're wrong! I, no, we are not evil! The ones who are evil are you!" That made me slightly surprised. I twisted my scythe a few times and aimed at him. I made my attack but he escaped in a blink of an eye. He attempted to run away again. I followed him behind and yelled out,"This won't be much of a battle if you don't fight back. I was waiting to see if you'd be able to make my blood spill. You know what, you kinda smell like Tatsumi. Care to explain?" I lifted up my Scythe and aimed right at him. And swung it down as hard as I could. He fell back into the river this time with a pretty big injury in his chest. Maybe he smells like Tatsumi since they used to be friends. I hardly care anyway. Suddenly a shock of pain went threw my heart up to my thought. I knew right then, that's it, that was my time limit.
Wave's POV
Wow, she's stronger than I thought! But why did she stop? If she doesn't go after him he'll get away! "Hey Jan, what are you waiting for?" I yelled. She turned around making me slightly startled. "Wh-what's happened to you?!" I screamed. She looked like she's become insane. Literally, she's become demonic. She let out a blood curdling scream and ran towards me. She was too fast, I dodged but I was still hit on the side. That scythe is sharp, sharp enough to cut through my armour that is. She dashed at me again but I held onto her scythe trying to push her back but we were struggling at the same strength. I looked closely seeing something was wrong. Her hair was red, her eyes were red "What's going on?" I asked. "Snap out of it!"
She started to overpower me and pushed me far away right into the same Boulder incursio was pushed into. She dashed at me with her scythe held high. I regained strength and quickly rolled over dodging her attack. "Hah, you missed!" I couldn't help it but laugh. She just kept on breathing heavily. I felt an itch in my left stomach so I took a look seeing it was slit. The cut was pretty deep but it didn't bleed for long. Jan suddenly let out a scream as she squeezed her hand on her chest. This can't go on any longer, she looks like she's in pain. I dashed towards her but she jumped off the ground.
I was waiting for her to land so I could attack her right when she landed her feet on the floor. But my plan backfired since she jumped down straight on my face. "Would you just snap out of it already?" I yelled. I ran towards her, she dodged but I came back and went for my attack.
I smirked since I managed to slash the weapon out of her hands. She fell to the ground as her hair slowly turned black. My armour slowly disappeared so I ran towards her and I straightened her posture supporting her back to help her sit. I let out a sigh of relief. Seeing her peaceful face look as if she was sleeping confirmed to me that She's ok. But we let Bulat escape. How am I gonna report this? How am I gonna carry back her weapon? I'll die right?
I glanced at the weapon and for some reason I had the urge to pick it up. I shook my head and reminded myself,"it'll kill you, don't touch it." I was thinking of how to transport Jan back. There was only one thing in my head but she'll kill me if she finds out I carried her back. She's unconscious, she won't know, I'll be fine. But do I really want to risk this? Just do it! She'll thank me, not kill me. I slid my right arm under her legs and was about to carry her up when...
"Do you have a death wish?" She spoke peacefully with her eyes closed shut.
"Oh, ummm ...... You're OK!" I smiled. She opened her eyes showing her burning, bloody, red eyes. She ran towards the scythe, picked it up and turned it into a gigantic hammer. She turned around and gave me an innocent smile as she started chasing me. "No, you got the wrong idea!" I screamed as I ran for my life.
