And walked into the clearing

"Good morning Duskmoon" Skydawn said

"Hi Skydawn" Duskmoon replied

He liked hanging out with Skydawn but not quite as much he liked to spend time with Scarletrose

"what is so great about taking walks at night" Skydawn asked

"What" Duskmoon replied

"You often go out on walks at night what's great about it" Skydawn asked again

"Oh well I have found a pond that I like to look at the stars through" Duskmoon answered

It was a spot he liked to go to before he found out how much he liked Scarletrose

"On then can you show me it sometime" Skydawn asked

"Uh sure" Duskmoon answered

A gray and white she-cat lying dead in the middle of camp

His father Kinkstar guarding the den

Sleeping in a nest with Ravenrose and his mother Wolfshine

"Duskmoon why are you just watching the camp wall" Skydawn asked

"Oh I was just remembering old memories" Duskmoon answered

"Okay what were they about" Skydawn asked

"I was just remembering times during my kithood" Duskmoon answered

"Oh okay" Skydawn replied

And she walked away

I never knew my own mother my father told me that a fox ended up getting into camp and killing her Duskmoon thought

So that was why him and Ravenrose were so close

"Hi Duskmoon" Blazepelt said as he walked by

I'm not sure what makes Blazepelt so grumpy but it gets annoying sometimes Duskmoon thought

"Doesn't it feel like time flies so fast because already almost the next full moon" Curlfly said

"And tonight is the half moon gathering for the medicine cats" Nightwhisker replied

Wolfshine loved to tell stories about how amazing Kinkstar was in the past

"Hey Duskmoon do you want to come hear a story" Wolfshine asked

"No thanks I have heard all yours" Duskmoon answered

"But I'll only come and listen if you have something new and not about my father" Duskmoon said

"Alright I've got something new and not about your father" Wolfshine said

"Okay I'm coming and you better not be lying" Duskmoon replied

And he walked into the den

"Okay my story has your father in it but it's not about him it's about a great battle with Nightclan" Wolfshine said

"We were in a war with Nightclan in the past" Duskmoon said his eyes went wide

"Yes and a cat named Sparkfeather ended our war and he was the deputy and the hole clan didn't want to fight anymore so Copperstar told him to talk and it worked to end the war" Wolfshine said

Wow I never knew that there was once a war with Nightclan Duskmoon thought

"Well I'm going go out hunting bye" Duskmoon said

And he walked out of the den

I never knew this stuff about our past Duskmoon thought

He walked out of camp to go hunting

And he started to look for some prey
