Streamsong was out fishing with Tidewing and Lakenose

"I'm going to win the game" Lakenose said

"No way your as slow as a ant" Streamsong replied

"Hey now you don't forget who came into the nursery and raised you" Tidewing said

"And who taught you how to swim" Lakenose said

"Well still" Streamsong replied

"He is the best fisher in dewclan" Tidewing said

She swiped four fish out of the water well they were distracted

Putting her in the lead

"You are being very quite" Tidewing said as Streamsong hooked another fish out of the water

"Oh I'm just winning" Streamsong replied

"Wait what" Lakenose said

And she hooked yet another fish out of the water

"Hey are you coming back to camp any time soon" Shardheart asked

"Yes we are coming right now" Streamsong answered

"What ugh you win Streamsong" Lakenose said

And they gathered up all the fish

And once they were done

"So what did you win" Shardheart asked

"I won the the first pick of the fresh-kill pile" Streamsong answered

And she grabbed a big pike off the pile because pike was her favorite

Tidewing was going to have her second liter of kits soon

I wonder if I well mentor one of them Streamsong wondered

"I can't wait to have more kits running around the camp" Tidewing said

"You can't wait until you actually have them and then you can't wait for them to be apprenticed" Streamsong replied

"Yeah I guess that's true" Tidewing said

"When did Ryepool say your kits were coming" Streamsong asked

"In a moon and a half" Tidewing answered

"So can I have that fish if your not going to eat it" Lakenose asked

"No I'm going eat it now" Streamsong answered

And she ate it

"It's going to be fun to have new siblings in camp" Shardheart said

"It's going to be difficult to teach them the warrior code just because of how hard it was to do it for my first liter" Tidewing said

"So do you have anyone you like Streamsong" Shardheart asked

"No" Streamsong answered

"I found a place totally out in the open where there is some catmint do you know why it's there" Streamsong asked

"Yes that's where me and my sister Ryepool's sister Dimondpaw died so Ryepool planted catmint there" Halfpath answered

"You two had a sister" Streamsong said

"Yes and we don't like talking about her because it's hard" Halfpath replied

"I guess it would" Streamsong said

One day later

Her Pondgaze and Shardheart were going out on the dawn patrol

"Have you noticed the tension between Pineclan and Nightclan" Pondgaze asked

"No why are they in a fight" Streamsong answered

"Well just at the last gathering they accused Pineclan of stealing prey" Pondgaze replied
