Skydawn was going to see Birchdapple

"Birchdapple!" Skydawn called to him

"Yeah Skydawn" Birchdapple asked

They had been talking about having kits together for a few moon's now

"I'm expecting kits" Skydawn said

"What! Really" Birchdapple asked

"Yes" Skydawn answered joy clear in her voice

"T-that's amazing" Birchdapple said

His excitement was so strong it was making her more excited

"What's up" Duskmoon asked

"I'm expecting kits!" Skydawn answered

"That's amazing but I guess you can't do your warrior duties until they become apprentices" Duskmoon said

"Well I can help out in camp and do the normal apprentice tasks" Skydawn said

"Well I'm sure Honeypaw would thank you for helping her" Duskmoon replied

"Who would I thank?" Honeypaw asked

"Skydawn for helping you with your apprentice tasks" Duskmoon answered

"Why?" Honeypaw asked

"Because I'm expecting kits!" Skydawn said

"What!" Honeypaw said

Honeypaw looked about as excited as Skydawn was

"That's wonderful news" Honeypaw said

"I'm going to stay in the warriors den for now but I'm going to start getting the nursery ready" Skydawn said

"Okay now Honeypaw it looks like Goldenfang is waiting for you" Duskmoon said and walked away

And Honeypaw walked to her mentor

"Would you like to help me" Skydawn asked

"I would love to" Birchdapple answered

And the duo walked out of camp to collect bracken and Brambles to fix the walls of the nursery

And after they collected it they began to fix up the walls of the nursery

"There now it well be much warmer inside" Skydawn said

"Yeah it well" Birchdapple aggred

"I'm happy we became mates" Skydawn said

"Me to" Birchdapple replied

She smiled at his words

"Would you like to take a walk with me?" Birchdapple asked

"Sure" Skydawn answered

And they walked out of camp

He brought her to a hidden clearing where a huge stone lay in the middle

"This is a place I like to go when I'm upset" Birchdapple said

"And so I wanted to show it to you" Birchdapple said

She climbed up on top of the rock

"This is a perfect place to sun yourself" Skydawn observed

"Yeah for me it's like the sun melts my anger and sadness away" Birchdapple said

She hadn't seen a angry side of Birchdapple yet but that was a good thing

"What is something you can't imagine to live without" Birchdapple asked

"My family" Skydawn answered quickly

"What I can't imagine to live without is you" Birchdapple said

She layd down on the stone

"I wonder if I have more then just Blazepelt for siblings" Skydawn said

"I don't know maybe but if you had other siblings wouldn't you know" Birchdapple replied

"So did you ever have any siblings" Skydawn asked

"I don't know I was found on Pineclan territory as a kit" Birchdapple answered

"So we were both originally rogues" Skydawn asked

"Yeah" Birchdapple answered

"So did you ever know of a leader that wasn't Kinkstar" Skydawn asked

"No" Birchdapple answered

"Wolfshine was the one who took care of me and she took care of Duskmoon after his mother Mossystream died" Birchdapple said

"So Wolfshine took care of a lot of kits" Skydawn asked

"Yeah she did" Birchdapple answered

"We should probably get back to camp" Skydawn said

"Yeah we probably should" Birchdapple aggred

And they walked back to camp

"Hey Skydawn come here" Sunpelt called

And Skydawn left Birchdapple and went to her mother

"Yes" Skydawn said

"Have you thought of becoming mates with Duskmoon before" Sunpelt asked

"No because I'm mates with Birchdapple" Skydawn answered

"What... I didn't know that" Sunpelt said

"And I'm expecting kits!" Skydawn told her mother

Sunpelt stumbled back

"Wow that's great news" Sunpelt said her voice was filled with excitement

"What's going on" Thunderflame asked

"I'm expecting kits!" Skydawn said

His emotions went from shock to joy

"That's amazing!" Thunderflame said

"I know" Skydawn replied joyfully

Birchdapple came over

"So I'm guessing you just told your parents" Birchdapple asked

"Yeah" Skydawn answered

"You should probably stop warrior duties for now" Thunderflame said

"I well but until it's to close to when I'm supposed to have my kits I'm going to help Honeypaw with the the apprentice tasks" Skydawn replied

"That's nice" Thunderflame said

"I hunted with you until I had my four kits so why can't she" Sunpelt asked

"Because we are not rogues anymore we have a cl-" Thunderflame answered

"Wait four but you only have two" Skydawn interrupted

"Alright I had four we left the weak two and brought you and your brother with us" Sunpelt said

"Who were they" Skydawn asked

"Scarlet and Stream" Sunpelt answered

They joined clans like us because that sounds like Streamsong and Scarletrose Skydawn thought

"Have you ever thought that maybe they joined other clans" Skydawn asked

"No" Sunpelt answered

"Because I'm wondering if Scarlet is Scarletrose and Stream is Streamsong" Skydawn replied

"That's a good point I feel like I have seen them at gatherings" Thunderflame said

"What you have seen them and not told me" Sunpelt said

"So what dose it matter you didn't want the kits" Thunderflame asked

"We left them to starve they should have starved" Sunpelt answered

"I'm going to go get something to eat" Skydawn said

"Can I come share with you please" Birchdapple asked

"Yes you may" Skydawn answered

She picked a fat robin from the fresh-kill pile and brought it over to where Birchdapple picked for them to eat

And they shared the robin

"That was delicious" Birchdapple told her

"So how long until you have the kits" Birchdapple asked

"Four moon's" Skydawn answered

"Four moon's that's quite a lot of time" Birchdapple said

"I know I was surprised to when FlowerStripe told me" Skydawn replied

"I wonder how medicine cats know how long until Queens kits come" Birchdapple said

"Probably some medicine cat power they have" Skydawn joked

"Yeah because that can be possible" Birchdapple said

"Are you saying I'm wrong to think medicine cats might have powers" Skydawn asked

"No no I'm not" Birchdapple answered

She gave him and friendly smile

"I'm going to my nest good night" Skydawn said and walked into the warriors den
